Marvel: I'm Hermione, from Hogwarts!

Chapter 21: Chapter 19: Meeting with Nick Fury

"Sister Natasha!"

Seeing Natasha on the hospital bed, Hermione hurried over and threw herself into her arms.

Her head nestled against Natasha's chest, fulfilling a longtime dream from her previous life—to be embraced by the famous Black Widow.

The sudden impact caused Natasha sharp pain, her face paling, the corners of her mouth twitching.

Yet, gazing at the little girl in her arms, all her emotions melted into a wry smile.

After a long embrace, Hermione pulled away to inspect Natasha.

"Sister Natasha, where are you hurt? Let me see!"

Natasha shook her head slightly, "It's too gruesome; I don't want to scare you."

Hermione: "..."

You might have forgotten I cut a man's throat and took out a dozen people single-handedly.

But she understood. With her cute face, anyone would be filled with affection.

"No, I want to see!"

Hermione insisted, feigning anger.

"Okay."

Natasha couldn't resist, lifting the quilt and slowly pulling aside her clothes to reveal her lower abdomen.

Coulson respectfully turned away.

As the bandages were removed, a deep, bone-visible scar stretched across her side.

The surrounding blood had been cleaned, but the sutured area still bore dark red traces.

"Ah!"

Hermione gasped, covering her mouth with both hands.

"It's fine, just a minor injury," Natasha reassured.

She wasn't exaggerating. Compared to a through-and-through wound from the Winter Soldier, this was indeed minor.

"Sister Natasha, how long until you're fully healed?" Hermione asked suddenly.

Natasha pondered, "At least two or three months for this kind of injury."

"Can't it be faster?"

Natasha was speechless. Did Hermione think healing was a matter of willpower?

"No, that's just how injuries work."

She wished for a quick recovery too, but nature's laws couldn't be defied.

"It's okay, I have a way!" Hermione announced.

Natasha was taken aback, then chuckled. She assumed Hermione was naive, assuming medical knowledge could be applied universally.

"No... You don't believe me!"

Seeing Natasha's dismissive attitude, Hermione puffed her cheeks in determination.

"Okay, okay, tell me how I can recover quickly?" Natasha humored her.

She was curious about Hermione's theory.

Hopefully, it wasn't just "drink more hot water."

Hermione brandished her wand and warned, "These stitches are in the way. I'll have to remove them first; it might hurt a bit."

The wand was formidable, so bear with it.

Natasha: ???

"Wait, what are you doing?"

She panicked. She thought Hermione would just share common recuperation advice, not remove her stitches.

"Wingardium Leviosa!"

Before Natasha could protest, Hermione waved her wand, casting a spell.

With some magic reaching level 2, she no longer needed to fully recite the spell to cast it.

Like the Levitation Charm.

As the spell took effect, the stitches collapsed, the threads pulling away as if by an invisible force.

"Hiss..."

Compared to professional doctors, Hermione's method was crude.

Natasha winced, but for the sake of her image, she endured the pain silently.

Once the stitches were completely removed, blood oozed from the wound, staining the sheets red.

Coulson heard Natasha's groans and sensed something wrong. He turned quickly to intervene.

"Healing as before!"

The next moment, Hermione chanted another spell, her wand gliding over the wound.

As the wand moved, the flesh around the wound seemed to awaken, knitting together seamlessly.

In the blink of an eye, the wound was healed.

Natasha stared at the miraculous scene, then grabbed a towel to dry her abdomen.

Her fair skin was as smooth as new, without any scars.

"This, this..." Coulson's eyes widened, mouth agape, utterly stunned.

Finally, Natasha remembered she wasn't dealing with an ordinary girl but a real wizard!

A magical one!

"Is this your magic too?"

Excited, Natasha asked an obvious question.

Otherwise... Hermione rolled her eyes. Did Natasha think she'd suddenly developed self-healing powers?

Realizing her blunder, Natasha chuckled awkwardly and sprang from the bed, delighted by her restored state.

Coulson, too, finally grasped the magic's significance.

Simultaneously, he elevated Hermione's importance several notches in his mind.

"By the way, would you like me to remove that scar?"

Hermione pointed to Natasha's waist. She knew Bucky had left a scar there, making bikinis a no-go for Natasha.

"Can it be healed?" Natasha's eyes sparkled with hope.

Without a word, Hermione used a low-power "shattering" spell on Natasha's waist, followed by a healing spell.

The scar vanished.

Natasha enveloped Hermione in another grateful hug.

Though scars aren't a major concern for agents of her caliber, as a woman, who doesn't care about appearance?

Ten minutes later, Natasha and Coulson escorted Hermione to the director's office.

Along the way, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s medical staff gaped at the transformed Black Widow.

After navigating the building, they finally arrived at a door.

Opening it, they saw a figure facing the window, gazing outside.

A shiny, bald head was hard to miss.

"Welcome to S.H.I.E.L.D., Miss Wizard," the figure said, turning around. "I'm Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Black, bald, one-eyed.

It's you, Nick Fury!

Hermione tilted her head, then asked, "Are you Sister Natasha's boss?"

Nick Fury nodded, "That's correct."

Hermione blinked and said, "Well, I trust Sister Natasha, and since you're her boss, she trusts you, so you must be a good person too!"

"Uh..."

Nick Fury's eye twitched; Hermione's simple logic nearly floored him.

What a straightforward child's reasoning.

What could he say?

No, you've misunderstood; I'm not that good?

Coulson and Natasha exchanged a glance, suppressing laughter at Fury's rare expression.

Indeed, sincerity is the most potent weapon.

An innocent child can unsettle even the most seasoned agent.
