Chapter 124: Chapter 124: You Mean Like This?

But judging from what the leader of the robed men said, it seemed that Fang Mo wasn't dead after all—and was even saved by Raymond?

How could that be…

He knew how dangerous these people were. Normal guns didn't work on them at all. Each of them was incredibly strong and knew some very dark-looking magic.

Even the superheroes seen on the news didn't seem stronger than them.

And now Raymond had managed to save someone from their hands? That could only mean one thing—Raymond had powers too?

And now that there were two Raymonds standing there, Gray realized this was no simple matter...

But there was one thing he was sure of—he couldn't let Raymond leave alive!

If anyone found out he was working with these cultists, he'd be finished—his career and reputation destroyed forever.

He wanted eternal life, but he didn't want to become a wanted man hiding in sewers.

"We can't let him leave," Gray said in a low, grim voice to the leader of the robed men.

The man gave him a mocking look. "So now you're scared?"

Gray's face turned even uglier.

"Have you two finished your little chat?" Raymond suddenly said coldly. "So it was you who caused the Miller Park incident?"

"Young man, you're a mutant, aren't you?"

The robed man didn't answer Raymond directly. Instead, he said, "Just because you've awakened a little power doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. The world is more complicated than you think."

"If you don't want trouble for yourself and your family, then leave—now!"

Gray panicked when he saw the man was going to let Raymond go. "We can't let him—he'll—"

"I didn't ask for your opinion," the man snapped coldly, cutting Gray off. Then he looked back at Raymond. "You should know what to say and what not to say. Now leave."

Raymond suddenly laughed.

"You're worried that if you fight me and I lose, I'll just teleport away and bring more trouble later, right?"

The leader's heart sank slightly.

Raymond was right. That was exactly what he was worried about. If he wasn't, he would've already attacked without all this talking.

After all, these people had never shown mercy before. They'd even killed police officers, not caring if they angered the government. What was one more dead man to them?

They weren't acting now only because they weren't sure they could keep Raymond from escaping—especially with space powers involved.

"But you're overthinking it. I didn't save anyone, and I don't have space powers," Raymond continued.

The robed man frowned, not understanding what Raymond was trying to say. Even if it was true, what difference did it make?

But soon, he understood.

"I'm just here to kill all of you," Raymond said calmly, "to get back at you for what you did to my dad—and also to wipe out the followers of Dormammu on Earth."

His words caused a storm inside the robed man's mind.

Gray only understood the part about Raymond's father. He had no idea what the name Dormammu meant.

But the leader of the cult certainly did. As a devoted follower of Dormammu, he never dared call his name out loud, always referring to him only as the Dark Lord.

Now, hearing Raymond speak the name so directly made him realize—Raymond wasn't just some hot-headed newbie with powers.

He had come knowing exactly who they were.

And that… was a completely different kind of threat.

"Young man… whoever you are, are you sure you want to stand against the great Lord Dormammu? Do you even understand what you're saying?" the leader asked in a heavy voice.

"Stand against Dormammu?" Raymond said as a see-through crystal ball suddenly appeared in his hand.

Inside the see-through crystal ball, there was a tiny version of a black misty face. At first, it looked a little confused.

But when it saw what was around it, it became furious and started shouting at Raymond again.

Unfortunately, no sound could come out of the crystal ball, so only its angry expression could be seen.

"These are your little dogs, right, Dormammu? Listen up. Lord Thanos said that if you keep being stubborn, every one of your dogs in the main universe will die. And these... are just the beginning!"

After saying this, Raymond ignored Dormammu's reaction and put the ball away again.

Back inside the system's inventory, Dormammu's silly-looking version was once again frozen at that moment.

"That... that was... how could this be?" The leader of the robed men began to wonder if he was seeing things.

Even though the black mist face in the ball looked small, he could still tell that it was definitely a mini version of Dormammu!

But how was this possible?

Why would Raymond dare to lock up Lord Dormammu—even if it was just a piece of his will?

And who was this 'Lord Thanos' he mentioned? That name sounded like another powerful being.

Could it be... Raymond also served another dark god? One that was fighting Dormammu? Was that why he was sent to destroy Dormammu's followers?

From what Raymond said, that dark god didn't just want to wipe out Dormammu's followers on Earth—he wanted to get rid of all of them in the entire main universe?

Was the war between dark gods really this terrifying?!

The robed leader was now terrified, especially after making up his own story in his mind. He was scared out of his mind!

"No... I can't die here... I have to get out and warn Lord Red Hood... Tell him to be careful of this dark god named Thanos…"

While the Exorcist side personality was leading Raymond to those cultists in Miller Park… far away from Earth, deep in endless space, something huge was happening.

Dormammu's true body had arrived!

But just then, a giant golden magic circle appeared out of nowhere and blocked his way.

Even though the magic circle was tiny compared to his huge body, it still stopped him from moving forward and kept him trapped in space.

At the center of the circle, the Ancient One sat calmly with legs crossed, wearing simple clothes. She looked up at the massive Dormammu and said calmly:

"This is where it ends, Dormammu—"

"Ancient One! You again!!"

Dormammu was furious when he saw her. "Get out of my way! I'm not here to fight you this time!"

"Then may I ask… what is your purpose?" she asked slowly.

"To catch that damn human! I want to torture him for thirty thousand years—no, thirty million years!!" The giant black mist face was full of rage. "And that cursed Thanos too! I won't let him go! They all must die!!"

"Do you really think I'll believe such a bad lie?" the Ancient One said calmly. "If you're after Thanos, why are you here on Earth? He is far away, in a different galaxy."

"You think I'm lying?! How dare you doubt the great Dormammu?!"

"You know the truth better than anyone..." she replied softly. "Leave, Dormammu. As long as I'm here, you will not set foot on Earth."

Her attitude made Dormammu even more furious.

What did she mean by "you know the truth"? Wasn't that just calling him a liar again?

But he was telling the truth!

Just as he was about to try and explain again, he suddenly froze.

At the same time, an image appeared in his mind—

"These are your little dogs, right, Dormammu? Listen up. Lord Thanos said that if you keep being stubborn, every one of your dogs in the main universe will die. And these... are just the beginning!"

That hateful human face flashed in his mind again—and then vanished into darkness.

That meant the human had sealed away that piece of his will once again, cutting off their connection.

"Arrogant! So arrogant!!"

Dormammu went crazy again!

"Ancient One, get out of my way!!!" He no longer cared about explaining anything.

To hell with explanations!

Anyone who stood in his way was the enemy—there was nothing more to say!

"I'm not letting you pass. You're still as foolish as ever, Dormammu..." the Ancient One said quietly.

Her calm tone made Dormammu's rage explode. He didn't want to talk anymore and attacked immediately!

His huge body trembled—

From the Dark Dimension, countless evil creatures appeared in the space around them and rushed toward the giant magic circle!

But the Ancient One had seen this trick before—she'd faced it the last time she stopped Dormammu.

She simply waved her hand.

At once—

The golden magic circle began to spin, and space itself seemed to shake with it!

Countless evil creatures started falling like rain, breaking apart and fading into nothing…

But there were just too many of them. They stretched far into the distance, and more kept coming!
