Marvel : Strongest Siblings

Chapter 115: Marvel 115

Trion flexed his fingers, allowing the flames to surge and retreat, feeling the newfound energy coursing through him.

"Let's see if I can control this," he muttered, focusing on a nearby Lava Hound that was snarling at the group. He extended his hand, releasing a controlled stream of fire. The flames engulfed the hound, its fiery body resisting momentarily before collapsing into ash.

"Not bad," Matt said, nodding approvingly. "Your control will improve as you use it more. Just make sure you don't burn yourself out."

Trion chuckled nervously, still marveling at his ability. "I'll do my best."

"Alright, Misty, your turn," Matt said, turning to her. "Take down the next pack of hounds and see if you can raise one as a Dark Hound. Trust me, it's going to be worth it."

Misty hesitated, her expression a mix of reluctance and determination. She gripped her weapon tightly, focusing on the group of Lava Hounds prowling toward them. With a deep breath, she launched into action.

Her strikes were precise, her weapon slicing through the molten creatures. When the last hound fell, she stepped back, her breathing heavy.

"Now, focus on one of the bodies," Matt instructed. "Feel the mana in you and connect it to the hound's essence. Command it to rise."

Misty closed her eyes, concentrating on the nearest fallen hound. A dark aura surrounded her as she channeled her energy, her hands trembling slightly. Slowly, the hound's body twitched, its molten glow fading and replaced by an eerie, shadowy form. Its eyes gleamed crimson as it rose to its feet.

"It worked!" Misty exclaimed, her voice tinged with excitement and nervousness.

The Dark Hound growled, standing obediently at her side.

"See? Not so gross now, is it?" Matt teased. "This one's under your complete control. Stronger, faster, and smarter than the mindless zombies you were worried about."

Misty smiled hesitantly, reaching out to pet the hound. "Alright, I admit, this is kind of cool. But I still don't want to fill my army with undead."

"That's fine," Matt said. "You'll find your own style as we go. The key is understanding your potential and using it wisely."

They continued deeper into the dungeon, the air growing hotter as the lava pools bubbled and hissed around them.

"Stay alert," Matt warned. "The boss of this dungeon isn't going to be as easy as these hounds. Trion, Misty, you've got new powers to test. Liam, stick close and provide support. Let's finish this quickly."

The group pressed on, their confidence bolstered by their recent successes. As the glow of a massive chamber came into view, they knew they were nearing the dungeon boss.

The group entered a vast chamber illuminated by the ominous glow of molten lava. In the center of the room stood the dungeon boss, a massive Lava Hound Alpha. Its body was a swirling mix of molten rock and fire, with glowing cracks that pulsed like a beating heart. Its molten drool sizzled as it hit the ground, and its fiery eyes locked onto the intruders.

"Alright, team," Matt said, unsheathing his golden sword. The blade shimmered, radiating light magic. "This is the real deal. Stay focused and work together. Trion, you'll be on offense. Misty, use your Dark Hound and keep raising minions if you can. Leon, support us with shields and healing."

" Liam you are ranged dealer with your Spirit summoner talent and Brian you are tank with Leon"

"Got it," they all replied in unison, determination etched on their faces.

The Lava Hound Alpha roared, the sound reverberating through the chamber and sending a wave of heat toward them. Without hesitation, it lunged, leaving a trail of molten rock in its wake.

Matt met its charge head-on, his golden sword clashing against the beast's fiery claws. Sparks flew as the two forces collided. Trion flanked the creature, summoning flames in his hands and launching them at the Alpha. The fireballs exploded on impact, momentarily distracting the hound.

"Nice hit!" Matt called out.

" now, go on on, I will support in between" Matt said, stepping aside.

Misty focused on summoning another Dark Hound from one of the fallen minions in the room. Her first companion joined the fray, leaping at the Alpha and sinking its fangs into the molten creature.

"Good job, Misty! Keep them coming!" Matt encouraged, dodging a swipe of the boss's massive claws.

Leon stayed in the back, his hands glowing with a soft light as he cast protective barriers around his teammates. "Trion, shield up!" he called as the Alpha turned its attention to the pyromancer.

The creature unleashed a torrent of molten lava in Trion's direction. The barrier Leon conjured held firm, giving Trion the chance to retaliate.

Trion grinned, the fire in his hands intensifying. "Let's see how you like this!" He unleashed a concentrated beam of fire, aiming directly at the Alpha's chest. The attack struck true, leaving a glowing scar in its molten armor.

"Nice one!" Misty cheered as her Dark Hounds continued to harass the boss.

The Alpha howled in rage, its movements becoming more erratic as its molten body pulsed with increasing heat.

"Careful!" Matt warned. "It's about to go berserk!"

The hound reared up on its hind legs, gathering molten energy in its maw. The heat in the chamber spiked as the Alpha prepared to unleash a devastating attack.

"Leon, shield everyone!" Matt shouted.

Leon raised his hands, a dome of light enveloping the group just as the Alpha released a massive wave of lava. The attack slammed into the barrier, causing cracks to form, but it held long enough to protect them.

"Now's your chance!" Matt yelled, as Brian charged ahead.

Trion followed close behind, fire surging around him. Misty commanded her Dark Hounds to attack in unison, their shadowy forms lunging at the Alpha's vulnerable spots. Liam summoned a single, but bigger thunder spirit , unleashing bolts of lighting on it, as brian reaching the hand, had his hands engulfed in red energy and then he punched at the head of hound.

Leon's sword glowed brighter as he poured his light magic into it. With a mighty leap, he brought the blade down on the Alpha's head. At the same time, Trion released a fiery explosion at its chest, and Misty's hounds tore into its legs.

The combined assault was too much for the Lava Hound Alpha. It let out a final, earth-shaking roar before collapsing into a pile of molten rock and ash.

The room fell silent, the only sound being the faint bubbling of lava.
