Chapter 120: Marvel 120
"Oh! It seems your Guild Leader is quite the man if he can command such a being," Thomas said with a grin, sensing the immense power radiating from Gachk.
"You are not weak either," Gachk replied, his gaze steady on Thomas Andre. Thomas was one of the World-Class Hunters, leagues above S-rank hunters. Even Gachk, in his current form, was no match for him. Perhaps only an SSS-rank monster under Matt's command could rival Thomas.
They continued their small talk until Matt entered the room.
As Matt stepped inside, Thomas turned to him, subtly assessing his power level.
Seeing the strength radiating from Matt, Thomas raised his brow. "You're a World-Class Hunter," Thomas remarked with a grin. "No wonder you dared to neglect me," he added, his tone both amused and impressed.
Beside him, his secretary, Sara, looked at Matt with intrigue, her sharp eyes taking in every detail of the man who had managed to command such power and presence.
"Cut the small talk. Why are you here? I didn't think we ever had any conflicts," Matt said, his tone calm but direct.
The S-Rank hunter, James, standing behind Thomas, frowned. "Watch your tone! Are you even aware of who you're talking to?" he snapped, glaring at Matt.
Thomas, however, simply smiled, raising a hand to silence James. "Easy now," he said, his grin widening as he turned back to Matt. "I'm not here to cause trouble—yet. Let's just say I'm curious about the man who's been making waves lately."
"Making waves?" Matt asked, narrowing his eyes.
Thomas nodded with a faint smirk. "You've cleared over 20 A-rank dungeons in record time, causing the elite to breathe a sigh of relief. But it raises questions. What's your goal?"
Matt's gaze hardened slightly, but before he could respond, Thomas continued, his tone sharper. "Do you realize how valuable those dungeons are? They're full of resources like ores and gold deposits. Yet, instead of mining magical crystals or extracting the rare resources, you just leave them untouched and let the dungeons collapse after clearing them."
Thomas's golden eyes seemed to glow as he stared at Matt, his curiosity and suspicion evident. "So, what is your goal?" he asked again.
Matt patted Gachk's shoulder with a calm smile. "They are my goal. My ability allows me to collect monsters and relocate them outside the dungeons." He snapped his fingers, summoning a portal behind him. Thomas and the others watched in surprise as a vast, otherworldly scene came into view, filled with various creatures in an organized habitat.
"My ability has given me my own dimension where I can house them. I've made use of the ores, magical crystals, and other resources within the dungeons to sustain and enhance their environment. Nothing is wasted," Matt said, standing up and gesturing toward the portal.
"Want to take a look?" he offered, his tone confident but casual.
Thomas raised an eyebrow, intrigued. Gachk added, "It would be better for you to see it yourself, Guild Master."
Misty and Leon stepped forward, following Matt into the portal without hesitation. Thomas glanced at his secretary, Sara, then at his team, before finally standing. "Let's see what you're so proud of," he said, striding toward the portal.
Meanwhile, Trion, Brian, and Liam remained outside, all of them A-rank hunters who knew they'd be of little help if a fight broke out in such an unpredictable situation. They exchanged uneasy glances but kept quiet, waiting.
As Thomas Andre and his team stepped through the portal, they were greeted by a vast expanse that seemed to defy the very laws of nature. The sky above shifted colors, transitioning from a deep azure to a soft lavender, illuminated by twin suns that cast a gentle, perpetual twilight over the realm.
The landscape was a harmonious blend of diverse ecosystems. To the left, dense forests with towering trees whose leaves shimmered with an ethereal glow. To the right, rolling plains where various creatures roamed freely, each exuding an aura of power and grace. In the distance, majestic mountains rose, their peaks disappearing into the clouds, with waterfalls cascading down their sides, feeding into crystal-clear rivers that meandered through the terrain.
Structures reminiscent of ancient temples and modern facilities dotted the landscape, seamlessly integrated into the environment. These served as habitats and training grounds for the monsters Matt had collected. Each area was meticulously designed to cater to the specific needs of its inhabitants, ensuring they thrived in this artificial yet natural-seeming world.
As they ventured deeper, they observed various creatures—some familiar, others entirely foreign—interacting peacefully. High above, winged beasts soared gracefully, while on the ground, beings of immense strength and size moved with surprising gentleness. The air was filled with a symphony of sounds: melodic calls, rhythmic footsteps, and the gentle rustling of leaves.
Thomas couldn't help but be impressed. "This is... beyond anything I imagined," he admitted, turning to Matt.
Matt nodded, a hint of pride in his eyes. "This is the Infinite Dimension. A sanctuary and training ground for the creatures I've gathered. Here, they can grow stronger, and in turn, so can I."
Sara, Thomas's secretary, observed, "It's not just a collection; it's an ecosystem. Balanced and self-sustaining."
"Precisely," Matt replied. "Every resource from the dungeons is utilized here. Nothing goes to waste."
Gachk, standing nearby, added, "Master ensures that all inhabitants coexist harmoniously. It's a realm of endless possibilities."
Thomas took a deep breath, absorbing the magnitude of what he was witnessing. "I must say, Matt, you've achieved something truly extraordinary here."
"Thank you," Matt replied, his voice calm.
Thomas then asked, "So, this is your power, huh?" His tone carried both curiosity and skepticism.
Matt glanced back at him, a small smile on his face. "More than that. I can even unlock one's potential and reawaken it," he said confidently.
"Impossible," James blurted out, his disbelief evident. Even Sara, who usually maintained a stoic demeanor, froze, her eyes narrowing in bewilderment.
The other S-rank hunters exchanged uneasy glances, their skepticism palpable. One of them finally spoke up, "Can you prove it?"
