Chapter 59: J.L!

"I'm not as good in naming things, how about the Justice League!"

Felix blurted out, half-joking. He never really expected the name from the DC universe to catch on with Tony and the others. He just threw it out as a joke, thinking nothing would come of it. But life often takes unexpected turns...

"I actually think Felix's suggestion isn't bad at all. I quite like it," Tony said casually, surprising everyone.

"Justice League—it has a nice ring to it. It clearly expresses our purpose: to fight for justice."

"I second that," said Captain America. "The name is simple, powerful, and reflects our mission—heroes united by justice, standing together to protect our home."

"I agree too!" Thor chimed in with a grin. "It may not sound as imposing as my suggestion, 'The Strongest,' but it's still a fine name."

"Then it's settled," Tony declared proudly. "From this day on, our Justice League is officially established. There may only be five of us now, but I foresee a future where this name will be admired by thousands."

He paused, his voice growing more solemn.

"Of course, we're not chasing fame. Just like our name suggests, our mission is to uphold justice in this world. Our ultimate goal will always be to protect our motherland Earth—at any cost."

The Captain and Thor weren't quite as visibly excited as Tony, but their eyes gleamed with anticipation. This was the beginning of something significant.

Annie, meanwhile, was overwhelmed with emotion. For the first time, she felt like she truly belonged. Unlike the fake heroes she knew from the world of the Super Sevens, this new team—the Justice League—felt real. Genuine.

In that moment, Annie no longer regretted following Felix into this world. She had found her purpose. She had found a place where her powers mattered—where she mattered.

"Wait... What? You're seriously considering the name I offhandedly mentioned?"

Felix, who had casually thrown out the name now embraced by everyone, was suddenly struck dumb.

"What the hell is going on here? Did I accidentally cross into a bootleg version of the Marvel Universe?"

He began spiraling.

"First, I bump into Barry Allen the moment I arrive. I let that slide. Then there's a reporter girlfriend named Lois Lane running around. And now the Avengers have been renamed the Justice League? What kind of twisted fanfiction universe is this?!"

He looked up, half-joking, half-serious.

"If the real Justice League ever finds out we copied their name, would they tear through the outerverse just to sue us—or worse, fight Iron Man and the rest?"

Images flooded his mind: the actual DC Justice League facing off against their Marvel-counterparts-turned-league.

Chaos. Explosions. Superman battling Him. Iron Man versus Batman!

"Of course, if it really came down to a fight with the Justice League… we'd probably be weaker," Felix admitted to himself. "But I've got my own powers, some decent survival instincts, and a knack for adapting. Maybe I could hold my own—for a little while at least."

He sighed.

"Although, if it's the film versions we're dealing with, we might stand a chance against them. But if we're talking about the comic versions—Silver Age Superman, Golden Superman, Cosmic Superman—yeah… we're so screwed."

Iron Man versus Batman. Two billionaires with unmatched intellect, gadgets, and resources. In their respective worlds, they represent the pinnacle of the "money is superpower." If these two ever faced off, they'd be naturally fated rivals. It's hard to call who'd win, but their clash would be nothing short of epic.

Thor versus Wonder Woman. Both wield immense magical power and combat prowess. But in sheer strength and divine lineage, Thor has the upper hand. In this match-up, the Marvel side gains a point.

Captain America versus Aquaman. On land, Cap holds slight advantage. Aquaman's strength is formidable, but out of water, he's not at his best. However, if the battlefield shifts near the sea, then Cap is in serious trouble. In that case, DC gets a point for having home-field advantage.

But here's the real issue—DC's genuine Justice League still has the Flash and Cyborg, both of whom don't have clear opponents on Felix's "bootleg" Justice League. Only Annie remains on their side, and it's extremely doubtful she can hold off both alone. These two powerhouses would tip the scales heavily in DC's favor.

So, realistically speaking, a battle between the pirated Justice League and the real Justice League would likely end in a devastating defeat for the former.

"Crap… This isn't going to work. We need to boost our strength—and if we can't match them in power, we'll have to rely on numbers…"

"Felix! Felix! What are you spacing out for? You're just staring blankly!"

Tony's voice snapped Felix out of his deep thoughts. He turned toward him, blinking back into reality.

"I was just thinking," Felix responded instinctively, "that our current alliance might be too weak. We need to seriously consider ways to strengthen ourselves."

The room fell silent. For a moment, everyone thought they'd misheard.

"What did you just say?" Tony raised an eyebrow. "Weak? You think we're weak? We just defeated Dormammu—a cosmic entity of unimaginable power! With our current power, we could wipe out any country with ease!"

"You're saying that level of power is still not enough?" Tony paused, then squinted suspiciously. "Wait… Are you saying you've foreseen something? A threat that we can't handle with our current strength?"

Captain America and Thor turned serious. Tony's words struck a chord—because they all knew Felix possessed a terrifying power: the ability to see the future. And every time he had spoken of what was to come, he'd been right.

Tony slowly nodded.

"Okay, that makes sense. Listen up, everyone. Prepare for battle and start brainstorming ways to enhance our alliance's strength. If Felix says this isn't enough, then what's coming must be beyond anything we've faced before."

He clenched his fist. "But we don't run from challenges. No matter how powerful the enemy, we will overcome it. We will become stronger—and we will win!"

Felix watched their serious faces and felt a bead of sweat run down his temple.

'What have I done...? If I tell them the truth now—that the I said now was just me spouting some random daydream battle against the original Justice League… would they kill me on the spot?'

He seriously doubted they'd take that well. After all, Tony and the others had built their trust in him on the belief that he could predict the future.

And honestly, it was a stupid thought to begin with. The DC Justice League showing up in the Marvel Universe to sue them over name plagiarism? The multiverse barriers being broken just for brand rights? Only someone like Felix, the "protagonist of nonsense," could even imagine such a thing.

He sighed.

'Guess I'll never see the real Justice League and Marvel's Justice League go head-to-head in my lifetime…'

But still, a tiny flicker of hope lingered.

Could it happen someday?

Maybe. After all, if there's one thing Felix had learned, it's that in this world—just like Murphy's Law—anything that can happen… eventually will.
