Marvel: The Tokyo Avengers

The Avengers began gathering soul-thread cores to overwrite the curse binding Tokyo. Each faced a Scarlet Warden created by Blood Seraphim, and each soul fragment revealed emotional truths from their past.

Meanwhile, Scarlet Onna remained with the Original Needle… only to be confronted by a new Warden — one shaped like the person she once loved.

[ACT I – The One She Buried]

In the dim light beneath the shrine, Scarlet Onna stands frozen.

Before her stands a young man — elegant, poised, and with gentle eyes that once made her believe in life again.

He wears a black-and-white version of her robes.

His voice is soft.

WARDEN (smiling):

"You've gotten stronger, Sayo."

SCARLET ONNA (shaking):

"You're… not real. He died."

WARDEN:

"I was real. I am real. I became the Needle."

The shrine glows faint red as the Original Needle pulses — not just an artifact… but a sealed soul.

SCARLET ONNA:

"You… you were the sacrifice? All this time?"

WARDEN (gently):

"I chose to become the seal. You would've taken my place. I couldn't let that happen."

She steps forward, tears brimming.

SCARLET ONNA:

"Then let me break the seal. We can fix this."

WARDEN (sorrowful):

"If you break me, you kill the thousands bound to me.

If you overwrite me… you erase me."

SCARLET ONNA:

"Why didn't you tell me…?"

He reaches forward.

His hand brushes hers — a thread connects them.

[ACT II – The Team Arrives]

The other Avengers arrive at the shrine — bruised and carrying the thread cores.

They pause when they see Scarlet Onna and the ghost.

STARWAVE (low):

"Who's that?"

ONMYO FLARE (stepping forward):

"That's the soul that anchors the Needle… isn't it?"

SCARLET ONNA (without turning):

"His name was Kaito. He saved me. And now… he's saving the city."

KURO ŌKAMI (bluntly):

"Then we use the cores. We overwrite the seal."

SCARLET ONNA (cold):

"You don't understand. I've already lost him once."

A silence.

Then Nekoburst speaks:

NEKOBURST:

"But you're about to lose everyone else if you don't let go."

Scarlet Onna trembles.

[ACT III – Memory Thread: Kaito's Truth]

Kaito gestures. A field of red thread forms around them — a memory bubble that shows the past.

We see:

Scarlet Onna training with Kaito as teens in a hidden spiritual order.

The moment Blood Seraphim's curse was first discovered beneath Tokyo.

Kaito volunteering to become the anchor to seal it.

Scarlet Onna screaming as she's restrained, unable to stop him.

The vision ends.

KAITO (soft):

"I made this choice because I believed in your strength.

You don't need to carry me anymore."

SCARLET ONNA (tearfully):

"But I still love you."

KAITO (smiling faintly):

"Then honor me. Finish the spell."

[ACT IV – The Overwriting Ritual Begins]

One by one, the Avengers hand their collected soul-thread cores to Scarlet Onna.

She holds them over the Needle and begins weaving a counter-spell — using Kaito's energy as the anchor, and the Wardens' fragments as patchwork.

SCARLET ONNA (chanting):

"Blood turned to bond. Pain turned to thread.

Seal not the soul… but the sorrow it bled."

The shrine glows.

The glyph in the sky wavers.

One spike fades.

STARWAVE (looking up):

"Only 13 left."

[ACT V – A Goodbye Beneath the Shrine]

As the ritual completes, Kaito begins fading.

KAITO (to Sayo):

"Thank you… for living."

SCARLET ONNA (breaking):

"Stay."

KAITO (smiling):

"You already carry me. In every thread."

He vanishes, a single red petal drifting down.

The Needle goes silent.

[Final Scene – The Calm Before the Final Bloom]

The team exits the shrine into the dim Tokyo night.

A brief peace settles.

KURO ŌKAMI:

"This city's still alive.

So the fight's not over."

ONMYO FLARE:

"Blood Seraphim won't let us rewrite him so easily."

Suddenly, in the sky, the red glyph pulses violently — faster than before.

A tear opens across the skyline.

A giant winged form of Seraphim begins to descend — not fully physical… but not a spirit either.

NEKOBURST:

"He's coming."

STARWAVE:

"Next fight's for real."
