The curse of Blood Seraphim was destroyed, and the radiant winged hero Heartlight arrived just in time to help seal the battle.

Now, Tokyo breathes again — if only for a moment.

But in the quiet, something worse arrives. Not a monster.

Not a curse.

But corrupted legends.

[ACT I – Morning in Tokyo]

The city sparkles with rebirth.

News anchors gush over the new hero "Heartlight."

Kids wear pink feathered backpacks.

Civilians gather around memorials dedicated to the Avengers.

On the rooftop base:

KURO ŌKAMI sharpens his claws, pacing.

NEKOBURST eats melon bread while staring at traffic below.

STARWAVE tunes her soundboard.

SCARLET ONNA draws sigils in glowing thread.

HEARTLIGHT floats lazily above them all, basking in sunlight.

HEARTLIGHT (smiling):

"So this is what peace looks like in your squad?"

NEKOBURST (flat):

"It's suspicious."

ONMYO FLARE (arriving):

"Something's coming. The energy in the ley lines… it feels like betrayal."

[ACT II – Something Falls From the Sky]

A red streak crashes into Mount Takao — a distant mountain visible from Tokyo.

The sky pulses violet.

Storms swirl unnaturally.

And then… silence.

CCTV footage from a hiking trail shows a man rising from the crater, wearing a torn X-Men suit.

Eyes glowing white. Skin cracked with purple tendrils.

NEWS ANCHOR (terrified):

"We're receiving confirmation that the man matches known images of Cyclops… leader of the X-Men…"

CITIZEN (on TV):

"But that thing wasn't him. That wasn't human."

KURO (growling):

"That was a mutant. But not just any mutant."

SCARLET ONNA:

"He's been… corrupted."

[ACT III – Arrival of the Corrupted X-Men]

Within hours, three figures arrive in Tokyo:

Corrupted Cyclops – emitting raw optic beams at random, his visor fused into his face, voice glitching in loops.

Corrupted Storm – her hair a stormcloud, floating without emotion, lightning surging across buildings.

Corrupted Nightcrawler – twitching, teleporting erratically, his tail now a shadowy whip.

They say nothing.

They just march through Tokyo's tech district.

ONMYO FLARE (shocked):

"They're… wrong. Their energies are like cursed echoes of their true selves."

STARWAVE:

"These aren't guest stars. They're warnings."

[ACT IV – The Clash Begins]

The Tokyo Avengers intercept them near Akihabara.

⚔️ First Strike:

Nekoburst bursts forward to scratch Cyclops but is flung back by a wild optic eruption.

Heartlight shields a bus of civilians from Storm's chain lightning.

Kuro Ōkami lunges at Nightcrawler mid-teleport and locks claws with his tail.

Scarlet Onna and Onmyo Flare try to bind them with magic—but the corrupted X-Men are immune to basic seals.

HEARTLIGHT:

"They don't remember who they were."

SCARLET ONNA:

"No… they remember. That's what hurts most."

[ACT V – Memory Fracture]

As they fight, a psychic flash ripples out from the corrupted X-Men.

A psychic scream, filled with voices, pain, betrayal.

The team stumbles.

CYCLIC SCREAM (overlapping voices):

"They left us... The world left us... Even Charles..."

ONMYO FLARE (holding head):

"They're trapped in a reality loop… fragments of betrayal and loyalty repeating like echoes…"

[ENDING – The Bigger Reveal]

Suddenly, a pulse of anti-energy warps the skyline.

A shadowed figure appears high above on a floating disc — metal limbs, glowing eyes, and a crimson cape.

???:

"The X-Men were just the start."

HEARTLIGHT (eyes wide):

"Who… is that?"

SCARLET ONNA (furious):

"No. Not now… not him."

NEKOBURST:

"Who?!"

STARWAVE:

"That's… Mister Sinister."

He smiles, surrounded by X-Men clones, their DNA rewritten and corrupted.

MISTER SINISTER:

"Let's see how your little Tokyo team holds up… against what used to be heroes."
