Marvel: The Tokyo Avengers

🔺 "It's not a battle when the enemy wears the face of your heroes."

Last Time:

Blood Seraphim fell. Heartlight arrived.

But peace shattered again when three former X-Men — Cyclops, Storm, and Nightcrawler — crashed into Tokyo as corrupted shadows of themselves.

Their minds broken. Their powers unstable.

And high above, the mad scientist Mr. Sinister smiles behind a synthetic grin.

🌇 [ACT I – 5:32 PM | Shibuya Ward, Tokyo]

Wind howls.

Rain falls sideways.

The sky above Tokyo swirls in unnatural violet.

Buildings flicker with distorted electricity.

Hover-billboards stutter between ads and warped genetic code.

And from the street, every passerby stops in fear…

Because Cyclops — eyes burning white-hot, X-Men suit in tatters — is walking through traffic, dragging his visorless face across cars like a sleepwalker.

PASSERBY (trembling):

"That's… that's one of the X-Men…"

CYCLIC CYCLOPS (whispering in loop):

"Too much light… no more dream… no more dream…"

Suddenly, his optic blast detonates, vaporizing a highway pillar.

Screams erupt.

From above, a shadow drops—

🐾 [Scene – Kuro Ōkami Lands]

KURO ŌKAMI (snarling):

"Get away from them."

He launches himself into Cyclops, slamming him through two vending machines.

But Cyclops doesn't scream.

He doesn't even react like a person.

Just stares, blood dripping from one eye.

CORRUPTED CYCLOPS:

"You're not in Cerebro. You're in the lie."

KURO:

"What the hell did they do to you…"

⚔️ [ACT II – The Avengers Arrive]

The rest of the team drops into the scene, weapons and magic primed:

SCARLET ONNA descends on threads, weaving spell-sigils mid-air.

ONMYO FLARE unsheathes both charm-blades, scanning the cursed ley lines.

STARWAVE lands in a thunder-kick and sends a shockwave through the street.

HEARTLIGHT glides down gently, glowing pink wings shielding fleeing civilians.

NEKOBURST appears last, teleport-bursting into a crouch.

STARWAVE (pointing at Cyclops):

"We doing this clean or loud?"

ONMYO FLARE:

"He's not in control. We must subdue, not destroy."

SCARLET ONNA (quietly):

"This is no longer a rescue. This is mercy."

Suddenly — lightning arcs from above. Everyone dives back as Storm descends, eyes pure electricity, floating with her arms limp like a puppet.

NEKOBURST (shocked):

"Storm?! No way…"

Storm lands silently — and unleashes chaotic lightning in all directions.

CORRUPTED STORM (flatly):

"No balance. No sky. No goddess. Just failure."

⚡ [ACT III – Fight Begins: Echoes vs. Avengers]

🌀 AVENGERS vs. CORRUPTED X-MEN: ROUND ONE

➤ Starwave counters Storm's lightning with a ripple of soundwaves, forcing her back with a harmonic burst.

STARWAVE (through the charge):

"Come on! Snap out of it, Queen!"

➤ Onmyo Flare clashes with Cyclops using time-sealing charms, freezing his optic beams in midair before they shatter reality.

ONMYO FLARE:

"These aren't just powers gone wild… it's a curse of the mind."

➤ Scarlet Onna binds Storm with combat-thread loops, her needles glowing red with defensive wards.

SCARLET ONNA:

"I feel no soul in her aura… only residue."

➤ Heartlight tries to speak to them emotionally — projecting an aura of compassion and memory.

HEARTLIGHT (softly):

"Please… I know you're in there. You're heroes. You fought for the same light I feel—"

Suddenly, a shadow tail wraps around his neck.

➤ Nightcrawler appears out of nowhere — his corrupted form jerking in glitchy teleports, skin darkened, tail stretched like ink.

CORRUPTED NIGHTCRAWLER (hissing):

"Faith... is broken."

➤ Nekoburst slashes through his tail with a clawed spin-kick.

NEKOBURST (snarling):

"No one chokes the love guy but me!"

👁️ [ACT IV – Sinister's Broadcast]

Suddenly, the sky flickers again.

All screens in Tokyo — traffic lights, billboards, smartphones — turn to static… and then:

MR. SINISTER (appearing with flair):

"Oh, my darling Avengers. You look dreadful when you care."

He appears atop Tokyo Tower — genetic armor glinting, cape blowing, eyes glowing with amusement.

MR. SINISTER:

"The X-Men were humanity's hope. So I turned them into your horror."

"Tokyo is now Phase Three of my GENOME PROJECT. And you, sweet flawed creatures, are my next test batch."

SCARLET ONNA (furious):

"You… violated them."

SINISTER (mock gasp):

"Violated? No, no. I improved them. Memory is such an overrated virtue."

KURO:

"Get ready to rip him apart."

Sinister vanishes with a smile.

The corrupted X-Men rise again — glowing brighter, more erratic, pain consuming them.

🩸 [ACT V – A Breaking Point]

➤ Cyclops screams, unleashing a full optic blast at Heartlight, who shields with wings — but cracks form.

➤ Storm screams, and lightning strikes through Onmyo Flare's barrier — sending him flying.

➤ Nightcrawler pins Starwave — until Nekoburst impales him with a spike-kick, blood spraying neon purple.

STARWAVE (panting):

"They're not going to last much longer. Either we stop them… or they break."

HEARTLIGHT (eyes glowing):

"I can try to reach them. Let me try one more time!"

Heartlight soars up, releasing a massive pulse of radiant love-aura, flooding the area in glowing pink and white feathers.

For a second—

Cyclops stops.

Storm pauses.

Nightcrawler stares at the sky.

CYCLIC CYCLOPS (soft):

"Jean…?"

Then—

A shockwave detonates the ground.

Sinister's voice returns:

SINISTER:

"Enough love. Time for deletion."

A new corrupted mutant steps through a biotech rift.

Corrupted Iceman.

His body glistens with crystalline spikes. He screams without sound.

🎴 [ENDING – THE RIFT WIDENS]

As the corrupted mutants regroup, the Avengers fall back to regroup.

The city darkens. Rain falls again.

Kuro breathes heavy. Starwave nurses a bleeding lip. Nekoburst leans on a wall.

KURO:

"We're not fighting mutants anymore. We're fighting memories."

HEARTLIGHT (quietly):

"And they're tearing themselves apart from the inside."

SCARLET ONNA (resolute):

"Then we will not destroy them. We will save them."

ONMYO FLARE:

"Even if it costs us everything."
