🌸 "Some petals fall not from wind, but from memory."

Previously:

The ghost of Kuro's past, Kasai Yurei, returned to claim his cursed beastfire. After a haunting battle at the shrine gates, she was defeated by the unity of the team — and Kuro's acceptance of his scars.

But something strange is happening in Tokyo's forgotten parks. Cherry blossoms are blooming out of season.

And Xylo? He's about to face someone he never thought he'd see again.

[ACT I – Petals Without Spring]

Scene: Ueno Park – Early Morning

The sun hasn't risen yet, but thousands of cherry blossoms bloom unnaturally across the park. Trees glow faintly pink in the darkness. There's no wind — yet petals drift upward.

Onmyo Flare and Scarlet Onna walk between the trees, eyes narrowed.

ONMYO FLARE (sensing):

"This isn't nature. It's a ritual."

SCARLET ONNA (softly):

"They smell like burning paper."

He kneels, touching a fallen petal. It turns to ash in his palm.

A whisper echoes across the grove:

??? (female, melodic):

"Cherry blossoms are stories. And Tokyo is a city that forgot how to read."

[ACT II – The Petal Witch]

From a whirl of pink light, a figure appears above the lake — standing barefoot on the surface.

Long robes of layered silk, a wide-brimmed hat covered in floating charms, and a lacquered wand shaped like a flute.

She smiles, but it doesn't reach her eyes.

🥀 New Villain: YUKI KAGURA — "The Petal Witch"

Power: Memory-Bloom Sorcery – Creates illusions, barriers, and attacks by awakening "forgotten stories" in nature

Weapon: Flute-Wand that controls cherry blossoms like blades or ghosts

Style: Classic noh theater + sorcery + deadly elegance

Goal: Rewrite Tokyo's future by "awakening" every forgotten memory… even those buried for a reason

YUKI:

"You fight for a city that eats its history and spits out flowers to cover it. I only want to tell the stories no one dares speak."

Nekoburst drops in from above, slicing through branches with a teleport flip.

NEKOBURST:

"You want storytime? I've got claws for punctuation."

[ACT III – Shadow Strings**

Scene: Tokyo Avengers Base

Meanwhile, Xylo is staring at something on his communicator — a ghost in his own right.

A report from SHIELD:

"New Petal Bloom Signature matches rogue elemental… codenamed: 'FUSELLE'"

His hands tremble.

XYLO (whispers):

"No. It can't be her."

A soft knock at the door.

Heartlight steps in.

Still distant, but trying.

HEARTLIGHT:

"We're heading out. You coming?"

XYLO (quietly):

"Yeah. Just… someone I used to protect. She's here now. But she's not the same."

[ACT IV – Bloomtrap Battle]

Scene: Sumida Riverbank

The team arrives.

Yuki Kagura summons an illusion field — thousands of falling blossoms that mimic clones of the Avengers' past enemies.

Kuro sees the monks who abandoned him

Scarlet Onna sees her cursed teacher

Heartlight sees Starwave — fading away

Xylo sees… his younger sister, standing on the water

YUKI:

"We're not enemies. I simply believe every scar must bloom."

Starwave blasts the illusion field with a pulse of resonance shock, her heels cracking the barrier — snapping everyone back.

STARWAVE (fierce):

"Enough sad poetry."

ONMYO FLARE:

"Seal Formation: Twin-Fire Gate!"

He throws a paper sigil to Scarlet Onna, who threads it mid-air — weaving a net of glowing string.

Yuki tries to resist, her petals spinning into razor storms, but Kuro leaps through and slashes the center.

BOOM!

The petals scatter. Yuki vanishes in a burst of ash blossoms.

NEKOBURST (panting):

"That's two creepy flower ladies in one week."

[ACT V – Reunions We Never Wanted]

Scene: Back at the base

Xylo sits alone. He opens a photo — him and a girl with silver hair, smiling in a field.

She's older now. The girl he saw in the petals.

Heartlight enters.

HEARTLIGHT:

"We all have ghosts. Doesn't mean they own us."

XYLO (sighs):

"She's not a ghost. She's… my reason for fighting. Even if I have to fight her now."

He stands, his hands sharpening into slicing arcs.

XYLO:

"If she's become Fuse— I'll end it before she burns the world."
