Previously:

Heartlight was captured by the illusionist villain Marquisa Masque, who manipulated his insecurities and identity in a twisted masquerade.

While Starwave and the others shattered her first illusion dome, Heartlight remained missing.

Now, deep within the mirror realm, he awakens—reborn, but possibly not as himself. Meanwhile, Kuro and Xylo return with dire warnings…

[ACT I – Rebirth in Glass]

Scene: Masque's Mirror Realm – The Heart Chamber

A vast empty cathedral of reflections. Light pulses like a heartbeat through the floor.

Heartlight floats midair, wearing a new uniform — a pearlescent white coat with glowing pink thread seams, like veins of glass. His hair is wind-swept, his wings larger and shimmer like crystal blades.

He opens his eyes slowly. Blank. Calm.

MASQUE (softly):

"You are perfect now. No pain. No doubt. No noise."

He lands gently, walking across the mirror floor as if he's forgotten everything.

HEARTLIGHT:

"Who am I supposed to love?"

MASQUE:

"Only me."

She hands him a mirror rose blade. He accepts it without question.

[ACT II – The Hunt Begins]

Scene: Tokyo Avengers Base – Night

Rain pours outside. The team regroups.

Starwave is silent, pacing. Nekoburst chews a mochi stick. Scarlet Onna draws new ward spells. Onmyo Flare consults his flame scroll.

The door opens.

KURO ŌKAMI (wet, growling):

"Found one of her shrines. Burned it down."

XYLO steps in behind him.

XYLO:

"Masque's not just illusions. She's using spiritual binding. I felt it. Like the seals used on cursed artifacts."

STARWAVE (snaps):

"And Heartlight is one of them now?"

Silence.

ONMYO FLARE:

"...Yes."

[ACT III – The Mirror Gate**

Scene: Abandoned Theme Park – "Dream Spiral Tokyo"

In the center of the park, a giant ferris wheel turns slowly. At its base, a mirror shrine floats, pulsing like a beacon.

The team splits into squads:

Team One – Kuro, Xylo, Scarlet Onna — to break the barrier runes

Team Two – Starwave, Nekoburst, Onmyo Flare — to locate Heartlight inside

They enter.

Everything inside is warped. Rides float in midair. Reflections don't match movement. Music boxes play Heartlight's laugh on loop.

[ACT IV – The Duel of Light]

Scene: Mirror Throne Room

Starwave enters the chamber alone.

Heartlight sits on a crystal throne — regal, composed, holding the rose blade. His voice is cold.

HEARTLIGHT:

"You shouldn't have come."

STARWAVE (tears rising):

"If you think I'm scared of this fake version of you, you don't know me at all."

He raises the blade.

She tightens her heels.

They clash.

Her sonic kicks echo through the chamber, shattering shards of false memories.

He counters with glass-wing slashes, glowing pink trails slicing through illusions.

HEARTLIGHT:

"You never really loved me. You loved the light."

STARWAVE (grits her teeth):

"No. I loved your broken, stupid, annoying self."

She launches a crescendo kick, blasting his blade from his hand.

She runs into him, grabbing his collar — and kisses him.

The glass cracks.

[ACT V – Cracked Mirror]

The mirror world begins to shake. Light explodes across the shrine.

Kuro and Xylo fight through illusion monsters. Scarlet Onna seals the gate. Nekoburst slashes through the remaining mirror drones.

SCARLET ONNA (shouting):

"Seal it now!"

Starwave pulls Heartlight into her arms as the room collapses around them.

HEARTLIGHT (softly, real again):

"You really kissed me?"

STARWAVE:

"You better remember it."

They leap out of the collapsing mirror world as Onmyo Flare seals the last runes.

[ENDING SCENE – Tokyo Tower, Rooftop]

The team gathers, bruised, burned, but whole again.

Heartlight sits with Starwave, leaning against her.

HEARTLIGHT:

"I don't feel like myself yet."

STARWAVE:

"That's okay. I'll be you until you do."

NEKOBURST (from behind):

"Gross."

Everyone laughs.

💠 POST-CREDIT SCENE:

Marquisa Masque watches from a fractured hand mirror, cracked but still active.

Behind her… a shadowed man with silver claws and a glowing red visor speaks:

??? (low):

"You lost your prince. But the real show's about to begin."
