Marvel: The Tokyo Avengers

Chapter 59: EPISODE 59 – “The Red Claw Protocol”

🧬 "They're not after our powers. They're after our blueprints."

Previously:

Heartlight was rescued from the Mirror Realm. Masque was defeated, but her illusions left cracks.

While the city breathes again, something new hunts in the shadows — not a sorcerer, not a clone — a predator built to erase powers from existence.

[ACT I – After the Masquerade]

Scene: Rainy Tokyo – Rooftop

Xylo stands over a broken drone, its circuitry still twitching. His blades now ripple with energy pressure, refined from fighting mirror illusions.

XYLO (muttering):

"These things aren't illusions anymore… they're war machines."

Below, Nekoburst investigates a SHIELD convoy site — burned, data cores missing, no survivors.

She radios the others.

NEKOBURST:

"Third hit in two nights. Someone's wiping SHIELD out. Clean, cold, quiet."

[ACT II – Nick Fury's Warning]

Scene: SHIELD Tokyo Outpost – Emergency Broadcast Room

The Tokyo Avengers gather. Nick Fury appears on-screen, dark eyes sharper than ever.

FURY:

"Name's Red Claw. A former Weapon X experiment turned off-grid. DNA hunter. Power eraser. SHIELD tried to cage him. He walked out with our intel."

STARWAVE (arms crossed):

"Let me guess. We're next?"

FURY:

"Not just you. Every powered fighter in Tokyo. But you're at the top of his harvest list."

Xylo steps forward.

XYLO:

"Harvest?"

FURY:

"He copies you. Then deletes the original."

[ACT III – Ambush at Blade Hollow]

Scene: Xylo's Personal Training Hall – "Blade Hollow"

Kuro Ōkami and Xylo spar under moonlight lanterns. Their combat flows in silence, cuts smooth and elegant.

KURO:

"You're faster."

XYLO:

"I had to be. Mirrors teach you what not to trust — even yourself."

Suddenly — the wall ruptures, and the room floods with red mist.

From it emerges a towering figure in exo-armor — dark red claws, half a mask, and a visor glowing with moving data.

RED CLAW (grinning):

"Found the prototype."

He rushes Xylo.

[ACT IV – Xylo vs. Red Claw]

Red Claw attacks without warning — his claws slice through matter and memory, ripping apart the training hall's runic defenses.

Xylo counters with ricochet slashes, blades bouncing from wall to wall, forming an airborne net.

But Red Claw adapts mid-fight — recalibrating in real time.

RED CLAW:

"Data confirmed. Speed indexed. Style mapped."

He slashes the air — the room glitches, part of Xylo's blade-arm phases out temporarily.

XYLO (growling):

"He's not fighting… he's recording."

KURO (Beast-Form activated):

"Then break the camera."

They team up. Kuro uses his moonlight claws to blind Claw's visor sensors while Xylo unleashes a cross-dash rip pattern, slicing the floor under Red Claw's feet.

Still — he grins.

RED CLAW:

"Killing you would be a waste. I'll just overwrite you later."

He vanishes in a flash of red static — retreating.

[ACT V – The Truth About the Hunt]

Back at base, the team gathers — bruised, winded.

Starwave analyzes Xylo's blade readings. Scarlet Onna places new defensive charms on the base.

ONMYO FLARE:

"He wasn't copying just attacks. He was mapping souls."

NEKOBURST:

"Freak's playing Pokémon with real people."

XYLO (quiet):

"He looked at me like I was a formula. Not a person."

[ENDING SCENE – The Red Archive]

In a dark techno-bunker, Red Claw examines floating data orbs.

Each one contains motion maps, energy trails, and neural echoes of every Tokyo Avenger.

He stops at Starwave's orb — and injects it with a neural spike.

RED CLAW:

"Next: the idol. Time to sever her rhythm."

🎴 END CARD — TOKYO AVENGERS

EPISODE 59: "The Red Claw Protocol" — END

🩸 Next: Episode 60 — "Heartbeat Blade"

Starwave is next. But she's not going quietly — not with Heartlight beside her, and Xylo ready to cut fate itself.
