Chapter 27: Chapter 26: Expanding Stark Megacorp
Hello my readers, I hope your having a great day, may the One Above All bless you. This chapter is kind of short but the next one is 2500 words, which kind of deserves it's own day. I'm not sure yet If you'll get an extra chapter later, I might post one I've been working on where he theorizes the nature of his powers, how he exactly got them and how they work. It's kind of cool but it's just Tony making a lot of assumptions on how the whole "omniversal travel thing" works while thinking to himself the entire time. I planned on originally inserting it somewhere in the beginning of my book. Moving on, I'd like to thank Jandher and user_11037 who gave me their power stones with Jandher being a total boss giving me 3 of them. Now, please enjoy this chapter.

With Obadiah Stane out of the way and Stark Megacorp fully under their control, Tony turned his attention to the larger world of business. He and Howard had access to immense capital, and it was time to use it. With Tony's knowledge of future market trends, they began a series of calculated investments that would ensure Stark dominance across multiple industries.
Howard focused on acquiring shares in up-and-coming companies that Tony identified as future juggernauts—Microsoft and Apple, the two companies that would define the future of computing. While Stark Megacorp would remain the undisputed leader in technology, controlling stakes in these companies would ensure a monopoly on operating systems and consumer electronics. They also bought into UnitedHealth Group to establish a foothold in the medical sector, Berkshire Hathaway for its vast holdings in insurance, energy, and transportation, and ExxonMobil to maintain dominance in the energy sector.
"Dad, we need control of the food industry as well," Tony instructed one evening over dinner. "In the future, ten major companies will dominate the global food supply. If we invest now, we'll hold sway over an entire sector of civilization."
Howard sighed. "I don't like the idea of controlling people's food. It sounds… villainous."
Tony smirked. "Dad, this is business. Control the resources, control the world. Besides, we're not hoarding food—we're ensuring quality and influence."
Howard rubbed his temples but ultimately agreed. They began acquiring stakes in the future 'Big Ten' food conglomerates: Nestlé, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Danone, General Mills, Kellogg's, Mars, Mondelez, and Tyson Foods. With these investments, Stark Megacorp would gain unprecedented influence over the food supply, ensuring both financial growth and control over public health.
The investments continued, and before long, Stark Megacorp had its fingers in every pie worth touching. Governments soon took notice.
One morning, Howard walked into Tony's lab, waving a letter. "We just got a warning from the Federal Trade Commission. Apparently, they're worried we're becoming too powerful too quickly."
Tony chuckled. "Little do they know, this is just the beginning. Let them think we're slowing down."
Howard raised an eyebrow. "And in reality?"
"In reality, we'll just be more subtle about it."
With financial dominance underway, Tony shifted focus to something more personal: the Stark Foundation. This initiative aimed to set up orphanages across the world, providing top-tier education and training for children with potential. But this wasn't just philanthropy—this was an investment. These children would grow into the next generation of scientists, soldiers, and professionals, all with loyalty to the Stark name ingrained from childhood.
"It's a positive feedback loop," Tony explained to Howard. "We invest in them, they grow into skilled workers, and they generate even more revenue for us. Everyone wins."
Howard shook his head. "Sometimes, I forget you're seven years old."
"That's because I'm not your average seven-year-old."
The Stark Foundation funneled promising children into specialized training programs. Those who showed exceptional physical talent were sent to the Shaolin Monastery built under Luo Feng's guidance, where they would undergo rigorous martial arts training. These future warriors would form the backbone of Tony's private army.
"Dad has his Stark Security Team, but I need my own force," Tony mused as he reviewed reports.
He begun recruiting veterans—soldiers who had been cast aside by the very governments they had served. These were men and women betrayed by their countries, struggling to adapt to civilian life. Tony gave them purpose.
"What better way to build loyalty than to take in those the world discarded?" Tony mused to Nexus one night.
"A logical strategy, Master," Nexus replied. "Loyalty is strongest in those who feel indebted."
Between his growing security force and the Shaolin-trained warriors of the future, Tony's personal army was beginning to take shape.
As he reviewed his progress, he leaned back in his chair, a satisfied smirk on his face. "Now, it's time to bring in some more scientists. There are still too many brilliant minds wasting their time. Let's see if we can't invite some of them to a better future—one where they serve me."
