Hello, and to all my American compatriots happy fourth of July. To the rest of you, happy normal day! I hope all of you are doing well. You must all be wondering 'wow a chapter isn't their some American uber nationalistic holiday today, would he really sacrifice his day off to upload a chapter?' The answer is yes and yes. I thought you all probably have some extra time to read today so I thought why not give them a chapter. Today we introduce a new Marvel comic book character, a psionicist of the highest order. Next I would like to thank sbbd, warrioroflight_3, Sabine_Bailey, SirZed, and Asura69s for their powerstones. Once again It's you not me who keeps this novel visible which lets other readers see this novel. Thank you. Now enjoy the chapter, its roughly a 1000 words!

Tony sat at his desk, tapping his fingers as he considered his next move. He needed muscle—someone on Magneto and Charles Xavier's level—to ensure his planned nation wouldn't be overtaken or manipulated by them or other powerful mutants like the Externals. The answer was obvious: Bennet du Paris, otherwise known as Exodus. The mutant knight, sealed away in the Swiss Alps by Apocalypse himself, was a powerhouse in his own right. Normally, Magneto would be the one to awaken him, securing his undying loyalty in the process. But Tony wasn't about to let that happen.
With a smirk, he got up and found his father in the lab. "Dad, I'm heading out to get some help."
Howard raised an eyebrow. "Some other universe, perhaps?"
"Nope. Just the Swiss Alps. There's a mutant sealed away there by Apocalypse. He's not just a knight but a man of honor, and he has a habit of pledging himself to a great cause as knights tend to do. I figure he'd be a great addition to our team."
Howard sighed. "And that cause would be your cause, I'm guessing?"
Tony grinned. "Naturally."
Howard pinched the bridge of his nose. "Alright, fine. But at least take some supplies with you. You don't know how long this will take."
"Already on it," Tony said, heading off to grab some MREs and tactical gear. Moments later, he teleported away.
The cold hit him immediately. The Swiss Alps stretched out before him—over 75,000 square miles of snowy wilderness and towering peaks. He exhaled, watching his breath mist in the air. "Great," he muttered. "Now where the hell do I start?"
Instead of blindly searching, he sat cross-legged and began meditating. Using his psionic abilities, he decided to carefully scan for life signatures, so he focused on finding a single mind, long dormant but still present.
Luckily It took only took days instead of weeks to locate him, but finally, Tony's eyes snapped open. "Found you."
He teleported to the location and found himself in front of an ancient stone entrance carved into the mountainside. Inscribed in ancient Egyptian were the words: Venture not within, o mortal—lest ye gaze upon the wrath of Apocalypse.
Tony snorted. "Yeah, yeah, ominous warnings and all that." He pushed open the stone doors and entered.
Inside, the tunnel was partially destroyed. Typical. It must have collapsed over time. . Using his telekinesis, Tony began moving the debris aside, muttering to himself. "This better be worth it."
After clearing a path, he cautiously moved forward, then suddenly stopped. Wait. He realized there might not be breathable air inside. Focusing, he used his telekinesis to flood the chamber with fresh air before proceeding. No need to suffocate just because he forgot a minor detail.
Finally, he reached the main chamber. In its center lay a stone slab, upon which rested a still figure clad in medieval armor. Surrounding him were the skeletal remains of knights—his old comrades, who had fallen attempting to save him.
Tony took a deep breath and smirked. "Arise, my champion, Exodus," he declared both out loud and directly into the slumbering mutant's mind.
The figure's eyes snapped open. "Sacre bleu!"
Tony blinked. Thank God for my mutant language comprehension. Within moments, his mind adapted to the archaic 12th-century French, seamlessly understanding Exodus' exclamation.
Exodus slowly sat up, his eyes scanning the chamber before settling on Tony. "You… are but a child. How did you overcome the curse of Apocalypse?"
Tony chuckled. "That stinky old curse wore off centuries ago. Apocalypse is many things, but an archmage? Not one of them. Now, let's get you up to speed—it's been, oh, 700, maybe 800 years?" He extended a hand.
Exodus hesitated for only a moment before grasping Tony's hand and standing. "The world… what has become of it?"
"Well, buddy, let me tell you," Tony said, launching into an explanation of modern history. He covered the rise and fall of nations, the evolution of warfare, and finally, the current state of mutantkind. "Right now, the two major players are Magneto, a terrorist who wants mutant supremacy, and Charles Xavier, an extreme pacifist who believes humans and mutants can live together in harmony—even when humans are actively trying to wipe us out."
Exodus frowned. "And what of your role in all this, young one?"
Tony smirked. "I'm creating a mutant nation. A place where we won't have to bow to anyone. But to do that, I need people I can trust. Strong people. Leaders. And you, Exodus, fit the bill."
There was a long pause before Exodus suddenly knelt before Tony. "You have freed me from my eternal prison, enlightened me to the fate of our kind, and given me purpose again in a world no longer my own. I swear my loyalty to you."
Tony raised an eyebrow. "We're really doing this, huh? Alright, let's make it official." He reached into his flat-space pocket dimension and pulled out his Shaolin Dharma sword. Exodus bowed his head.
"I vow to serve my liege lord in valor and faith, and to protect the weak and defenseless mutants in their time of need."
Tony tapped the sword against Exodus' shoulders and head. "Arise, my knight. We have people to save. But first, let's finish getting you caught up on modern society."
With that, Tony teleported them back to his estate and sent him a telepathic language package with basic modern knowledge so he could understand modern English and societal norms. He then tasked Maria Stark with setting up tutors for Exodus for further learning. Of course, after giving him NZT for expediency.
Exodus would be ready for the new world soon enough. And with him by Tony's side, the future of mutantkind was looking a whole lot brighter.
