Marvel: Undercover in S.H.I.E.L.D., I'm So Evil

Chapter 112: Chapter 112

Odin ultimately failed to break through Kurohane's defenses. The feudal patriarch, though grinding his teeth, refused to bow his head. He merely stomped his Eternal Spear firmly, let out a cold snort, and then departed, an aura of exasperation wafting behind him, filling the corridor with suppressed fury.

Thor, attracted by the commotion outside the door, only saw his father's receding back, while Kurohane still stood outside the door, grinning triumphantly, a shrewd glint in his eyes.

"Kurohane! Jane... Jane has been parasitized by the Aether Particle, and there's no way to remove it now... I truly—" Thor began, his voice laced with panic, his gestures agitated.

"Alright, alright, stop the Asgardian drama," Kurohane rolled his eyes, pushing the enthusiastic Thor back with his palm. "You just want to ask if I can extract it, right? As a wizard from Kamar-Taj, how could such a minor problem bother me?"

Three minutes later, Kurohane was toying with a glass jar in his hand. Inside, a formless crimson substance flowed back and forth, unable to escape the jar's confines. This jar was also one of Kurohane's special 'souvenirs' brought from the future. It was a tool used by the future Avengers to extract the Aether Particle, jointly created by Tony Stark and Rocket Raccoon in the future. The tool was reusable and without any side effects.

Of course, Kurohane didn't understand the principle behind the tool, but that didn't stop him from pretending to be a master. At least, all the doctors in the examination room, including Jane and Thor, were stunned by its efficiency!

"But, Kurohane," Thor squinted, pointing at the jar, his forehead furrowed in confusion. "Although I don't know much about magic, I can tell at a glance that the jar in your hand has nothing to do with magic; it's purely a product of technology!"

"As an Asgardian, what right do you have to say such a thing?" Kurohane looked at Thor with disdain, raising an eyebrow. "Asgard's technology tree is incredibly unbalanced. Because the achievements of magical civilization cannot be abandoned, coupled with various high technologies obtained from the universe, everything they create appears right yet turns out wrong. Even their transportation tools are shaped like small wooden boats. You don't raid the British Isles like Nordic Vikings, yet you must be fully armed? Strange."

Kurohane raised the jar, letting the light reflect from it. "The end of technology is magic. In short, it's all about energy application, just with different methods of application. For example, this jar in my hand might seem like a product of technology to you, Thor, yet in Dr. Jane's eyes, it's an incredible miracle! Am I right, Dr. Jane?"

Kurohane might have been using his Telepathy ability too much, so when he spoke, he was incredibly convincing. Just like the bald man in X-Men, when he didn't use his Mutant ability, he could easily persuade the other party—except Magneto! So Jane unconsciously nodded, her eyes fixed on the jar, completely agreeing with Kurohane's point of view.

"Mr. Angel, you're right!" Jane said, her eyes brimming with pure scientific admiration.

Kurohane didn't pay much attention to Thor and Jane, who were clearly infatuated with each other. When he extracted the Reality Stone, he also helped examine Jane's body. Jane hadn't been parasitized by the Reality Stone for long, and her bodily functions weren't severely disrupted, so aside from being a little weak, she shouldn't suffer any lingering symptoms. Because the energy of the Infinity Stones, in a sense, is radioactive energy, Jane contracted cancer in Thor 4. The main reason was actually being parasitized by this Reality Stone. At that time, no one thought this way, it felt like being in radiation without realizing it!

As for whether Thor and Jane would end up together, Kurohane personally had doubts. It wasn't that there was no love between them, but the way they interacted... "Ah, what do I know about love," he muttered, a single dog who had been "pure" for so long.

Playing with the jar containing the Reality Stone all the way, Kurohane casually walked into the corridor and happened to meet Frigga, who was preparing a room for Jane. Just as they were about to greet each other, they both simultaneously noticed the presence of others in the corridor, but both tacitly did not expose it. They merely smiled and exchanged greetings before passing by, an unspoken secret.

And at this moment, behind a thick stone pillar in the corridor, Thor (the 'Fat Thor' from the future) and Rocket Raccoon dared not breathe, hiding quietly from Kurohane and Frigga's sight, their bodies curled as small as possible. They only dared to speak after both had left the corridor, a sigh of relief escaping their lungs.

Rocket's furry face was full of disbelief, his eyes wide. "The Reality Stone isn't in Jane Foster's body! It's been taken out by someone else!" Rocket clicked his tongue, shaking his head. "This is completely different from what Thor explained!"

"How much have you been drinking, you fat oaf? You can even talk nonsense like this!" Thor (Fat Thor) retorted, his voice hoarse, his eyes tearing up.

Compared to Thor, Rocket was truly tiny. He couldn't even grab the fat Thor's collar if he wanted to, so he simply climbed onto the fat Thor's body, stepped on his chest with both feet, and only then managed to grab his collar! But the fat Thor currently saw his mother (Frigga in the past), and a wave of sadness immediately surged into his heart. In his current state of self-neglect, he truly couldn't bear to see her. Moreover, from the perspective of the past timeline, today was the day of Frigga's death!

"I... I have to go to the wine cellar. There's some good old wine there. I'll just drink, once I finish one drink, I'll go and retrieve the Reality Stone..." Fat Thor stammered, tears beginning to well up in his eyes, his voice breaking. "Ah!!!"

"Ah-!"

Fat Thor turned and bumped into Frigga. Both screamed almost simultaneously. Rocket, who was originally holding Thor's collar, was also flung off, then grabbed by his clothes by a large hand, slowly lowered, and a glowing red jar was placed in his hand.

Rocket: (Eyes wide, blinking in confusion, his face filled with astonishment.) "Who am I? Where am I? Why did the Infinity Stone end up in my hand after spinning around in the air?"

A hand waved in front of Rocket, and a gentle male voice sounded. "Get out of there, get out of there." Kurohane stood there, a faint smile on his face, his eyes slightly amused.

When Rocket realized he possessed the Reality Stone, his first reaction was to immediately pull Thor and run. As long as they could return to the future timeline, this mission would be complete! After all, they were members of the Guardians of the Galaxy! As long as the job was done, the process didn't matter!

But before his hand could touch the quantum tunnel travel device, he found that his entire body was unable to move!

"Telepathy really is useful!" Kurohane thought, holding Rocket in place with the power of his mind.

"Don't be in such a hurry to leave. You can take the Reality Stone, but the focus now isn't you, but that fat Thor over there. Only Frigga can untie the knot in his heart."

"Who exactly are you?" Rocket hissed, staring at Kurohane suspiciously, his fur slightly bristling.

"Your good friend in the future whom you can talk about anything with. Star-Lord and the others don't know your origins, but I do!"

"How is that possible?!"

"The High Evolutionary, want to kill him?"

Rocket: (His body froze, his pupils dilating in shock and terror, all resistance evaporating.)

Kurohane's voice immediately sounded in Rocket's mind, ignoring the tumultuous waves within Rocket's heart. He invited him to watch the conversation between mother and son. Fat Thor's origin was seen by Frigga at a glance. He shyly used his clothes to cover the excess fat on his belly, then cried and spoke at length, like a child long separated from his mother, until Mjolnir flew into his hand, only then did he smile happily.

Everything was perfect... if only there wasn't a Thor (the younger one) hanging from Mjolnir, staring at the bizarre scene with a blank gaze, confusion clearly etched on his face!

Generally, even Mjolnir's owner cannot summon it from another's hand. But at that moment, Thor was busy on a date with Jane Foster, and for the first time in a long while, he truly put down his hammer.

When Mjolnir began to float from the ground—as if pulled by an invisible force—Thor immediately dropped Jane and grabbed the hammer's handle with all his might! That was the pure instinct of an Asgardian, like a puppy whose toy has been snatched, it will surely bite with all its might and refuse to let go!

Mjolnir then flew Thor across most of Asgard, a sight that must have attracted the attention of many bewildered guards, and then the hammer was carried away until it finally hung in the hand of Fat Thor (the future version).

Fat Thor: (With hazy eyes, startled, Mjolnir now heavy in his hand.) "..."

Young Thor: (Startled, eyes wide, jaw slightly agape in disbelief.) "!!!"

Both Thors stared at each other, reflections of one another in different forms, but neither was willing to release the hammer's handle. Both thick arms exerted force simultaneously, muscles twitching, but Mjolnir stood firm in the middle, as if enjoying it. It was like a cruel and wild supporting female character who liked to see the male lead and the second male lead compete for her. But now, the two competing for her were both male leads—which made her even happier!

"Oh my God!!!" Rocket Raccoon's furry face was full of panic. He jumped up and down, trying to get Fat Thor's attention. "This fat guy never said he was just an accessory to Mjolnir!"

Conversely, Kurohane and Frigga were not panicked at all. For those who had been exposed to magic and dark arts, this was a common sight. Magic was like the philosophy of another dimension, both reflections of human nature and self—there are always strange things beyond common sense.

Kurohane felt it was time for him to act. To separate two fighting roosters, the best way was to throw the butcher from the slaughterhouse into the cockfighting arena!

[Telepathy] + [Bullet Time] activated!

The world around both Thors slowed, as if time itself sighed. Both were momentarily dazed, a blank stare in their eyes, and then realized that the hammer in their hands had vanished. Their hands gripped each other tightly, like good friends reunited after a long separation!

Mjolnir, on the other hand, hovered in the air, twirling in Kurohane's hand, looking incredibly happy. This was a familiar scenario of infidelity. Young Thor was fine; after all, this wasn't the first or second time Kurohane had done this. Moreover, it wasn't just Kurohane who could lift Mjolnir, he had long been accustomed to it.

But Fat Thor couldn't handle it! At this point, he hadn't been thoroughly beaten by Thanos and Kurohane. After losing his hammer—heartbroken—all he knew was drinking beer and playing games. He had completely lost the courage to live, hiding in a small room as a shut-in. After finally seeing Mjolnir, two love rivals suddenly appeared, and Mjolnir even accepted them... He began to miss that room that smelled like a rotting dead rat!

"Suddenly everything got complicated!" Kurohane sighed, rubbing his temples. "How is it that after dealing with Tony and Steve, now I have to deal with you two? It's not like I'll have to deal with Rhodes and them when I go to Morag later, right?" He immediately felt a little uneasy. He couldn't possibly follow them back to 2023 again, and then fight Thanos and his Black Order again, could he? It would be nice to get justice points, but what if he met his past self? That would be a huge mess! Based on his personality, he would probably immediately start fighting. The Kurohane who went to battle in the Final Battle in the past timeline had three Infinity Stones in his hands!

The two Thors were still staring blankly at each other, their eyes unfocused. That was natural as Fat Thor had a fake eye. It was only after Kurohane took out the Infinity Gauntlet and held it that both calmed down. Kurohane had decided not to interfere with the timeline. It was fine if Fat Thor and Rocket took the Reality Stone and Mjolnir. However, his Telepathy ability was still somewhat weak, so he needed a little help from the Mind Stone. Constructing virtual memories for both of them according to the movie's storyline was no problem for him at all! However, such modified memories couldn't last forever, but lasting for three to five months was no problem!

So, to avoid problems after the fake memories disappeared later, Kurohane decided to tell the clever Rocket. "Rocket, we will meet in the future, but your future is my past. To avoid changing the past timeline, I will make you forget that you ever met me."

Kurohane spoke a few words to Rocket, and in Rocket's bewildered eyes, he forcibly altered the memories of all three of them. Kurohane also kindly helped them activate the quantum tunnel travel device. He had used this thing before and was very familiar with it! The longer these two stayed in this world, the more accidents would happen. It was better to send them back immediately!

As for Frigga, she watched Kurohane's actions with a smile. Kurohane had actually told her about the future events long ago. This mature Queen no longer wanted to follow fate. She wanted to see her children marry and start families, and she also wanted to witness their growth. Although Thor's future self was also her son, it was clear at a glance that he had experienced too much pain in his life. Even if she could foresee some future events, she could not predict that Thor would become like this. She didn't want Thor to be like that, otherwise, how much vegetable salad would he have to eat to lose weight later!

So she let Kurohane do his task. The Kamar-Taj wizards' mastery of time had been proven by Dormammu. Very powerful!

Dormammu: (From the depths of the Dark Dimension, a bored tone, echoing in the void.) "As long as you're happy. I've been summoned countless times without needing to appear!"

It was only after Fat Thor and Rocket disappeared that Young Thor's consciousness returned to normal!

Young Thor: (Blinking, confused, his hand rubbing his temple.) "Something's wrong... it feels strange! Wasn't I chatting with Jane by the lake? Why am I in the great hall?"

Kurohane silently put away the Infinity Gauntlet, then walked over to Thor and said: "Are you drunk? Why did you fly in from outside the window?! Where's your hammer?"

"Huh?! Oh right, where's my hammer?!" Thor extended his left hand towards the window opening, wanting to summon his Mjolnir. But the hammer didn't appear for a long time; all of Asgard had no record of this hammer!

Frigga covered her mouth and chuckled softly as she saw Thor's increasingly anxious face, her shoulders shaking slightly with suppressed laughter. The hammer had just been taken to the future by Fat Thor. How could it return so quickly!

Cold sweat trickled down Thor's forehead, soaking the hair at his temples. "Kurohane! Quick, quick, help me find my hammer with your circle-drawing trick! The hammer is gone!"

"I don't think the hammer is that important, actually." Kurohane wrapped his arm around Thor's shoulder and then pointed in the direction he had just flown from, saying: "You just flew in from over there. My eyesight might be a little better than yours, so when I looked over there, I found your girlfriend, who is 1500 years younger than you, crying by the lake! Personally, I think Jane is more important to you than a hammer! You are Thor, not the God of Hammers!"

"Quickly help me find it!!!" Thor shrieked hysterically, shaking off Kurohane's hand, and ran towards the window, searching for his missing hammer. His shouts echoed through the hall.
