Marvel's Black Steel

Chapter 216: Chapter 214: Pete Returns Home

Shaking my head, I rid my mind of thoughts about that person as I shifted my focus to Peter, who was now seemingly a bit hesitant to continue with killing the man, and while I was no blacksmith, I knew to strike the iron when it's hot.

"Listen, Pete, if I'm being honest, if you really want you, I won't stop you from killing him… He took Mr. Parker away from you and Aunt May, and from the way I see it, you have every right to kill him." Remarked Tut lightly, his words surprising Pete and shocking the man as he descended further into terror.

"A-Aren't you Blacksteel!? Y-You're supposed to h-help m-" Yelled the gruff-looking man as he looked at Tut with eyes of hope, only for two beams of lasers to narrowly evade his head, silencing him.

"Shut it." Said Tut firmly as he stopped his heat vision while glaring at the man, who fearfully nodded, prompting him to grunt before shifting his gaze to Pete.

"R-Really?" Asked Peter hesitantly as he glanced at Tut, whose figure blurred only for him to raise his cuffed hands.

"Yep. If you drop him right now, I won't bother saving him. But here's the catch: if you had wanted to kill him, you would've done so by now." Replied Tut with a faint nod as he lazily plopped onto the ground, causing the man to begin praying while Peter furrowed his brows but remained silent.

"That anger and hatred is clouding and confusing your mind, Pete; I should know; I experienced this same situation a few years ago. But it cannot change who you are, and the Pete I know wouldn't kill a man… Mainly because he's too weak, scrawny, and a nerd, but that's beside the point." Added Tut lightly as he tapped his head, causing Pete to lower his gaze only for a faint smirk to appear.

"You're just as much of a nerd as me." "Yeah, but I make it look good." Remarked Peter and Tut, respectively, as the former glanced at the latter, who flashed a smirk, causing him to roll his eyes.

Quickly standing up, I broke out of those flimsy cuffs and tossed them to the cops, webbed to the wall before lightly grabbing Pete's shoulder.

"C'mon, Pete, set him down." Said Tut softly, his words tipping Peter over the edge as he heaved a deep breath while slowly backing away.

Once the man was no longer hanging off the side of the building, Pete dropped him onto the roof, causing him to fall to his knees as he hugged the ground and muttered to himself, though I ignored him in favor of Pete. Squatting down, I grabbed Pete's shoulder as he breathed heavily while staring at his shaking arms, seemingly having scared himself at what he nearly did.

"I-I a-almost killed a man." Muttered Pete with a shaky voice as he stared at his hands in disbelief and slight fear.

"I-It was so easy, Pharaoh. H-He felt like a t-toothpick. I-I could've crushed his hand w-with just a tiny bit of force." Added Peter softly as he constantly opened and closed his hands, prompting Tut to lightly nod.

"I may joke and call you weak, but you're only weak to me, Pete. You're an unstoppable monster to everyone else." Said Tut solemnly as he stood up and looked at Pete, who seemed frightened and astonished at his strength.

"P-Please, t-take me to j-jail." Said the gruff-looking man as he grabbed Tut's feet, begging him with teary eyes, causing him to grunt before suddenly kicking him off the ledge.

"P-PHARAOH!?" Exclaimed Peter in disbelief as he glanced at Tut before quickly leaning over the roof, only to see Carol holding the man by his collar.

"What? I thought it would be funny to give him a bit of a scare." Said Tut innocently with a smirk as he looked at Peter, who sighed in relief before closing his eyes.

With a flash of light, Carol arrived on the roof beside me while tossing the man towards the webbed cops, and thankfully, he was smart enough to cuff himself.

"W-Who is she?" Asked Peter softly as he pointed at Carol while glancing at Tut, who smirked before wrapping his arm around his shoulder.

"Carol Danvers, AKA Captain Marvel. She's pretty hot, right? Want me to hook you up with her? She's rather starved if you get what I'm saying." Replied Tut with a grin as he introduced Carol, who smiled, only to lean down and whisper into Peter's ear while nodding in agreement.

"Growl." Said Carol with a smirk as she clawed the air while winking, causing Peter and Tut to gulp at the sheer sexiness she exuded.

Before I could say anything, I was suddenly punched by Peter, which confused me as it hurt him more than it hurt me.

"What was that for?" "I-I don't know, it wasn't me. I-It was like my body moved on its own. Ouch." Remarked Tut and Peter, respectively, as the former frowned in annoyance while the latter grabbed his hand, wincing in pain.

Although it didn't hurt, it did snap me out of that little trance Carol had cast on me.

"Um, Carol, could you deal with everything here? I got to get Peter back home. I promise I'll make it up for you, maybe invite you out for dinner- the hell Pete!" Asked Tut with a somewhat apologetic smile as he pointed at the cops and cuffed man while glancing at Carol, only for Peter to suddenly kick his crotch.

"I-It's not me, Tut! M-My body's doing it on its own! O-Ouch! W-Why are your balls so hard!" Yelled Peter in anger and confusion as he hopped in place while holding his foot in pain, causing Tut to grunt in annoyance.

"Haha, don't start fighting over me, you two. I got this, Pharaoh, get that boy back to his family. Oh, and when is our date happening? I'd prefer sooner than later since I will leave soon; I can't leave the universe unattended for too long." Remarked Carol with a chuckle as she dismissively waved her hands while approaching the webbed cops and cuffed criminals, only to glance at Tut holding Peter in his arms.

"Um, yeah, I'm fre- PETE!" Said Tut with a nod as he slowly flew away, only for Peter to suddenly headbutt him.

"I-It's not me!" Said Pete angrily as he glared at Tut while holding his forehead, causing Carol to laugh at their fleeing figures.

"You just going to raw dog it?" "Not the best choice of words, Tut." Remarked Tut and Peter, respectively, as the two stood just outside of the Parker's residence, mere feet away from the front door.

Nodding in agreement, I moved past his little comment as I cleared my throat.

"This is your last moment as a boy, though. After you step through that door, you've got to be a man. No boy can care for Aunt May; only a man can." Said Tut seriously as she glanced at Peter, who bit his lip before lowering his head and sighing.

"I get what you mean, but again, not the best choice of words." Muttered Peter softly, his words causing Tut to roll his eyes.

Before I could respond, Pete suddenly hugged me, which slightly took me aback, but unlike normally, I didn't push him off as I hugged him as well. Neither of us really said anything, and just silently stood on the porch hugging for several minutes; I heard him sniffling while my chest got a little wet, but I didn't comment on it and just continued to hug him; after all, once he entered that door, he wouldn't be able to cry no more.

"Thanks Pharaoh… For being my friend." Said Peter softly as he stepped away from Tut while wiping his face.

"Heh, we're practically brothers at this point… I just got the good genes." Remarked Tut with a sly smirk as he playfully nudged Peter, who rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, but I got Aunt May." "Hoo, and I'm GLAD you do." Stated Peter and Tut, respectively, as the former smirked while the latter nodded and licked his lips.

Before I could even joke about how hot Aunt May was, Pete punched me in the stomach.

"That time, it was me." Said Pete with a grin, causing Tut to roll his eyes as he raised his hands.

"Alright, big man, she's all yours." Said Tut lightly while gesturing to the door, prompting Peter to take a deep breath before entering the house.

Following Pete, I closed the door behind me and leaned against the hallway, watching as he entered the living room, prompting Aunt May to practically lunge into his embrace.

"Sorry, Aunt May, I had walked home. I'm here now." Said Peter softly as he tightly hugged Aunt May, who had started crying again, yet he remained firm.

Seeing Pete handle everything, I pushed off the wall and headed upstairs, as I needed to talk with Jean since I was confident she was the one forcing Pete to hit me; yet when I got upstairs, I saw Gwen leaving the room.

"Careful, both of them are upset with you." Said Gwen lightly as she pointed at the door behind her and squeezed past Tut, who suddenly turned around.

"You know, I think I'll walk with you instead." "Smart." Remarked Tut and Gwen, respectively, as the former followed behind Gwen, who quickly nodded.
