Chapter 217: Chapter 215: Carol Comes For Diner

After the whole ordeal with Pete had been resolved, I asked Jean to wipe the memories of the cops and the criminal, though that wasn't needed since she had already done so. Of course, that was only after she and Sara silently glared at me, clearly upset with Carol and her flirting.

It's been about a week since Mr. Parker's death, and things moved sort of fast, well, mainly for Pete and Aunt May, but they didn't waste any time when it came to hosting a funeral and speaking of that…

"No offense, but do you have a life?" Asked Tut lightly with a raised eyebrow as he glanced at Carol, who was eating ice cream beside him.

"Besides acting as the protector of the Universe? No. Most of my friends have lives of their own, families to take care of and whatnot, and it would be a little disrespectful to visit them after not speaking to them in over two decades, only to suddenly vanish a month later." Remarked Carol with a shake of her head as she leaned against the statue's base with a slightly sad look, only to take a bite of ice cream before offering some to Tut.

"Want some?" Added Carol curiously as she held a spoonful of ice cream toward Tut, only for a slender arm to suddenly intervene.

"No, he doesn't, thank you." Stated Sara firmly as she dangerously eyed Carol, who raised an eyebrow before shrugging her shoulders while Tut rolled his eyes.

"Hmph, stop it, Sara." "Tsk, well, maybe you should stop flirting with women when you already have a girlfriend." Remarked Tut and Sara, respectively, as the former grunted in annoyance while the latter clicked her tongue before aggressively tapping his chest.

"Ho, is she the girlfriend you mentioned, Pharaoh? Yeah, I'm hotter." Asked Carol curiously as she stared at Sara, who nodded while flaunting her voluptuous body, only for her to smirk.

Hearing Carol provoke Sara, I groaned as I rubbed my temples.

"Tsk, hotter? I won't even bother entertaining you; your body is nothing compared to mine." Stated Sara with a scoff as she folded her arms and stared at Caol before shaking her head in disappointment.

"Heh, I'll admit your body is something every woman desires, but you're just a little girl, and until you learn how to properly wield that weapon of yours, you'll scare no woman." Declared Carol lightly as she shook her head, not the least bit threatened by Sara, who didn't take kindly to her words.

Outstretching my arm, I grabbed Sara's chin, stopping her from speaking whatever she was about to say as I forced her to gaze at me.

"What do you want, Sara?" Asked Tut blandly as he looked at Sara, whose expression softened.

"Can't you come back? For us to break up over Jean, it's not fair!" Asked Sara half-beggingly as she stepped close while tenderly holding Tut's hand, causing him to sigh before gently pushing her away.

"I would love to… But only after you can get Jean to agree with our relationship. I love you and Jean, but I'm choosing the second option if it's picking one to be my girlfriend or keeping you both as friends." Stated Tut softly as she gently rubbed Sara's hand, only to shake his head while retracting himself from her, causing her to bite her lip.

"F-Fine. I-I'll talk to her… I'll W-Work something out. J-Just promise me you won't find another girlfriend." Said Sara with teary eyes as she wiped her face before firmly grabbing Tut's hand while staring into his eyes, prompting him to nod.

"I made a mistake last time, Sara, and I can promise it won't happen again." Said Tut sternly, his words causing Sara to faintly smile as she released his hand while walking away, only after glaring at Carol.

As I watched Sara walk back toward her family, I glanced at Pete, who was still standing by Mr. Parker's grave, which was being filled with dirt. He hadn't moved from that spot in nearly two hours, and I was beginning to get a little worried. However, I figured I would wait until everything was finished first.

"Wanna talk about it?" "I'd prefer not." Said Carol and Tut, respectively, as the latter shook his head, causing the former to nod.

"I've been meaning to ask, but do you not feel uncomfortable constantly hanging out with a 17-year-old? I mean, I know I'm pretty cool, but I feel like you'd want to befriend someone more around your age." Asked Tut curiously as he folded his arms and glanced at Carol, who raised an eyebrow with a thoughtful expression while humming.

"Age doesn't mean much to me…" "WOAH! Phrasing!" Said Carol and Tut, respectively, as the latter weirdly looked at the former, who rolled her eyes.

"I've come across numerous beings of various ages across the Universe. Age really is just a number when you get up there. Though I will say it does help that you're decently mature, granted, you can be a bit horny. Don't think I don't notice your lustful glances." Remarked Carol lightly as she stretched her arms upwards, flaunting her breasts, which Tut was staring at, only for him to awkwardly cough while looking after getting caught.

"That's a man thing, alright; besides, you're arguably one of the top 3 sexiest women I've met, so it's only natural I'll take some peeks here and there." Said Tut blandly as he eyed Carol, who chuckled in amusement, only for him to glance at the approaching Hana.

"Ah, I hear a lot of flirting going on, Mrs. Danvers; you know my son is underage." Said Hana lightly with a raised eyebrow as she skeptically eyed Carol while hearing ear muffs.

"Underage? Ha, that's even better; I like 'em young!" Declared Carol boldly as she locked arms with Tut, who simply sighed and lowered his head while Hana's expression twitched.

"She's joking, Mom." "..." Said Tut as he raised his head and looked at Hana, who silently stared back at him, prompting him to lower his head again.

"Anyways, I'm making dinner, so if you'd like, you can join us, Mrs. Danvers." Said Hana lightly with a faint smile as she looked at Carol, whose eyes lit up with joy while she rapidly nodded.

"Oh, yes! It's been SO long since I've tasted home-cooked food. Thank you very much, Mrs. Kent!" Stated Carol with a nod as she looked at Hana with hope-filled eyes, causing her to faintly nod before glancing at Tut.

"Make sure to be home by 6:30, Pharaoh. I'll see you as well, Mrs. Danvers." Said Hana with a faint smile as she pulled Tut down and kissed his cheek before walking away, leaving the cemetery.

Mom was the last one to leave, so the only ones remaining were Carol, me, and Pete, so we had to stay; otherwise, who would drive him back home?

For the next hour, Carol and I casually chatted, with me mainly asking her about space and whatnot, though eventually, Pete finally approached us.

"You ready? Got me freezing my fucking ass off out here." Asked Tut as he glanced at Pete, who quietly nodded, prompting him to push off the statue and walk to the parking lot.

Once we arrived at the parking lot, we entered, with Pete voluntarily taking the back, causing me to assume he just wanted some time to think.

"Alright, the moment of truth, will this old bastard of a car star." Muttered Tut as he pushed the key into the ignition and twisted, causing the car to rumble smoothly to life.

"Damn, today must be my lucky day." Added Tut with a smirk as he backed out of the parking lot and entered the roar, driving down the streets of Queens.

While driving, I was forced to slap Carol's hands as she fiddled around with MY radio.

"The hell was that for?" "This is my car, so I play whatever music I want, and I've already got my CD in there." Remarked Carola and Tut, respectively, as the former winced in pain while eyeing the latter, who firmly eyed her before pressing play.

Playing my CD, I turned the volume up, listening to Tupac as I rolled down the streets, which was a bit of a stupid move since we're on the East Coast, but so what?

"Hmm, this is pretty good." "Damn right, it is. Ambitionz az a Ridah!" Said Carol and Tut, respectively, as the former nodded her head to the beat while the latter sang the song word for word.

"Ay, you know what to do if you ever need me, Pete." Said Tut lightly as he stopped in front of the Parker's residence, causing him to flash a smile while exiting the truck.

"Yeah, just say your name. Thanks, Tut. I'll see you later. Bye, Carol. It was nice meeting you." Replied Peter with a faint smile as he walked backward while glancing between Carol and Tut, both waving in response.

Once Pete entered his house, I drove off, exiting the neighborhood as I headed home, though apparently, Carol had other plans.

"Hey, can we stop by the store real quick, I need to buy something." "Do we have to go right now?" Said Carol and Tut, respectively, as the latter blandly glanced at Carol, who folded her arms and shook her head.

"No, of course not. Just don't get upset with me when your seat has a blood spot." "Haa, fine. Just don't take long; if I'm late, I'll leave you at the store." Remarked Carol and Tut, respectively, as the latter sighed while changing directions, causing the former to nod.

'Hmm, do Kryptonians have periods as well?' Thought Tut with a curious expression as he tapped his chin.
