Chapter 2598: 2598. Only Flame Crafting

'Blood flame ogre

This is a race of powerful beings known to have flame literally moving through their veins. They are able to absorb ambient fire mana and use it to continue to move and breathe with greater strength. They are often seen to have steam leaving their mouth and nose when they breathe, some say it is the burning away of any other manas.

Due to their race's focus on forging with fire elemental materials, they have gained a very high resistance to even the purest of fire mana while they also are able to resist other manas due to forging with them and stripping them of their mana affinities using fire mana. While this process is not as simple, it is one that they can perform if they have the right level of strength and age within their small racial community.

There is not another profession within the blood flame ogre race, they have long believed that the true way of their existence within all things is forging with fire elemental materials. Fire is in their blood and they must use that fire to create and grow unique creations. They are highly protected by several fire elemental races within the fire elemental planes and will rarely ever be able to venture from their homes unless escorted by a variety of other guards.

It is said that the ancestor of the blood flame ogre used his very blood to forge the crown which the king of fire wears upon the elemental body when visiting the strongest of fire affinity races.

While much of the history related to the blood flame ogres is hidden due to their safety…'

Walker didn't get all that much at all from the all around appraisal. These tall red skinned beings were clearly powerful. They also had elemental resistance but not because they had trained against it, but because they had used their innate inner fire mana to burn away other manas while forging.

This technique was something that the world was struggling with in a way, but if there was a race that dedicated everything to it at all times, then it made sense it would be more applicable. Yet, it was still odd to think that this race was similar to the dwarves, yet so different. Please read this chapter on its original platform—M|V|L1EMPYR.

"Workshop?" one word asked as a question. Nothing of greeting or any show of why all three of them were carrying materials that Walker sensed and knew he had not seen before. Instead, these three just looked at him waiting to be allowed in toa workshop where they could begin crafting.

"It's in Genesis. We can take you there." Before Walker was able to respond Midnight had. She was very focused on these three and was looking at them for any potential danger. However, she didn't feel a single bit of threat from them despite the fact that they were clearly very muscular and had a potent control of fire mana from within their own bodies.

"Where?"

Again with a one word question, there wasn't even a flash of curiosity or understanding in their eyes. Instead, these three appeared to only have one interest and one focus. It was less cultural and more like they were only able to think about the one thing, crafting and a palace to do it.

"We have a teleportation formation to be able to bring you to our main city, Genesis, I can bring you to the fire dragon territory where you can forge or craft whatever you want there. I know you were brought here to help with the mapping orbs though." Walker tried his hand to get them talking more but he saw an indifferent expression greeting his words.

"Dragon scale materials?"

"Don't need it, have some."

"Better fresh."

The three spoke short and quickly between themselves before they made it clear that it was just the way they spoke. Not showing much other interest within the world otherwise. It was odd since any other crafter or forge master would be hyper focused on potential new materials they could use as inspiration. That they would be able to test new techniques.

"There may be dragon scales if the dragons are willing to donate their shed scales. They are an important race equal to all others within Genesis. Please keep in mind every single race is due their respect. They are not simply parts for crafting."

Walker knew full well that this was not part of what these three flame blood ogres were speaking about. They were just considering materials, however, setting a precedent was important. Without doing so, it would be on Walker later if any issues arose.

"You may also be provided materials to experiment with depending on what time you have. I will also need to hear about what food you need and what may be comfortable for your temporary homes to rest in." This was what got their attention.

The moment he had said the word rest, they all looked at them. Their red flame like eyes trained on his every movement. "When and how you rest will be up to you. I nor anyone will expect you to work through days at a time. There are times when inspiration strikes, but that is not the normal expectation or expected from you."

His words were heard and the three blood flame ogres were still looking at him with complete focus. It was a few moments of tension before Midnight broke the silence.

"We have a lot of places to explore. Crafters are everywhere building homes and weapons and armor and floating ships and water ships. They make everything!"

Seeing the expected dragon's pride the three crafters were not at all taking Midnight's words as false. They knew very well that a dragon might exaggerate, yet they did not see this in Midnight's words, they saw a clear confident pride in a true statement.

This meant that the kinds of crafters and different forms of crafting that they may never have a chance to even fathom existed. Generations of blood flame ogres grew up growing entirely different from any other elemental ogre they had seen or heard of. They knew their race was different. Their minds were different.

The barbaric battle goes of the earth elemental plane were known to destroy, steal, kill, and bring havoc. A traveling race that didn't care for anything but battle to the death making them nearly extinct many times over. Then there were the dark ogres, more undead than living due to their short lifespans focused on spreading decay. They were monsters nothing more nothing less.

The only reason the blood flame ogres had the gifts they did was because they had been seen as valuable and given the protection to focus solely on crafting. That made them a single minded race. Even speaking was less important for them making it hard to communicate on a normal basis.

"Show us. We will learn. We will work."

The three all agreed with the single one who spoke. The larger muscled bodies seemingly eager to begin working on something sooner than later. "Then I will give you some buffs to help you resist the manas of the world. Every mana is in balance here. We of Genesis and the world maintain that as best we can." Walker was being clear as he prepared to carry them all with wind mana to the elemental rune teleportation formation.

"Midnight, when we get back I'll need your help getting the wandering blacksmith and a few other higher ranked crafters for some help. Able and Jan as well since they will be needed to assist in making the fire elemental mapping orb for the fire elemental planes."

Midnight eagerly took her dragon form and flapped her wings to get ahead of Walker so once they teleported she could fly off and get everyone that was needed. "Our best crafters will meet you. The main three who helped make the small mapping orbs like that will help and show you what we need to do and your expertise can help with materials and potential resistance to fire mana needs."

It seemed that the three blood flame ogres didn't need to respond. Instead, they were too captivated by the fact that they were now suddenly flying through the air. A feeling they had never experienced. They were stunned seeing the larger expanse of water surrounding the island.

It grew even more shocking when they felt the space shift and the elemental rune teleportation formation move them to Genesis. The sudden change to a bustling city was staggering to say the least. Yet, they saw creations using materials they'd never known. Some materials they had stripped the affinity from which they now saw functioning entirely different than when for mana was moving through them.

"This is my home. Welcome to Genesis."
