Chapter 4: Chapter 4: The First Day

The sun had barely begun to rise over the vast farmland, casting a golden glow over the Kent household. The air was crisp, the scent of fresh grass lingering in the morning breeze.

Inside the warm confines of the house, two beings who did not belong to this world were awakening to a new life.

Kara sat near the window, her arms wrapped around her knees, staring at the endless sky. The destruction of Krypton was still fresh in her mind. The fiery explosion, the loss of her parents, the desperate escape—it haunted her. But now, it was all gone. Krypton was nothing but dust in the void of space.

Her fingers clenched into fists.

Kal was all she had left.

Her little cousin—the last of her family. The last of Krypton.

She vowed to protect him, no matter the cost.

At first, it had been a simple promise, one of duty and care. But as the night passed, the emotions inside her began twisting into something more. Something darker.

Her heart ached at the thought of losing him. He was hers to protect. Hers.

She glanced over at Kal, who was lying comfortably in the crib Martha had set up for him. His bright blue eyes were open, silently observing the world.

He was too young to speak, too young to understand.

Or so she thought.

---

Kal was fully aware.

His infant body may have been weak, but his mind was sharp.

He had spent the night processing everything. The new world, his new guardians, and most importantly—the foreign will burning inside him.

Superman's will.

It was constantly whispering to him, reminding him of his duty to Krypton.

"Rebuild. Repopulate. Restore what was lost."

Kal didn't care about Krypton. Not even a little.

But the sheer force of Superman's lingering will wouldn't let him ignore it. It was like an annoying itch at the back of his mind, demanding attention.

And so, he did what any logical man would do.

He solved the problem in one night.

His lips curled into an amused smirk—well, as much as a baby could smirk.

If Krypton needed to be repopulated… then he would simply do it himself.

He had no intention of wasting time searching for Kryptonians in multiverse . Why go through all that effort when he alone could father the next generation?

The only thing Krypton needed was him.

An empire of his bloodline, stretching across the cosmos.

Superman's will had unknowingly pushed him toward the most convenient and pleasurable solution.

The thought was almost comical.

And just like that, the burden of Krypton's restoration was no longer a concern.

Problem solved.

He stared at the ceiling, completely satisfied with himself.

"I'll start when I grow up."

---

Kara turned away from the window and walked toward the crib, gently brushing a hand over Kal's forehead.

"You're safe now," she whispered.

Her touch was warm, but her eyes were filled with something else.

Possessiveness.

Her promise to protect him was no longer just a responsibility. It was an obsession.

Kal stared up at her, unfazed.

He wasn't worried about being protected.

He was the strongest being in existence.

But if Kara wanted to dedicate herself to guarding him?

Well… he wouldn't stop her.

---

Elsewhere…

Not everyone had slept soundly that night.

Deep beneath the earth, in a hidden SHIELD facility, alarms had been triggered. Surveillance satellites, scanning for abnormal activity, had picked up an unidentified object crashing from space.

Nick Fury stood in front of a screen, his one good eye narrowed. The data was strange.

The ship's composition was unknown. No Earth-based technology matched it.

Alien.

That was the only conclusion.

Fury let out a slow breath. First Captain Marvel, now this? The universe wasn't just big—it was crowded.

"Get me a report on that crash site," he ordered. "And keep this off the books. Last thing we need is a panic."

---

Far away, within the mystical halls of Kamar-Taj, another figure had noticed.

The Ancient One sat in quiet meditation, her fingers gently tracing the air, weaving golden strands of energy.

Her magic had detected a tear in reality.

The balance of this universe had shifted.

Two beings had entered this world—ones who did not belong.

She saw glimpses of their potential. The boy… his future was unreadable, an anomaly in the great cosmic design.

But she knew one thing for certain.

The moment he arrived, the fate of this universe had changed.

She saw countless possibilities in him changing with each passing second.

---

Back at the Farm…

Kal let out a yawn drifting to sleep.

He didn't need to care about SHIELD or the Ancient One.

They didn't matter.

Right now, all that mattered was adjusting to his new life, observing his surroundings, and enjoying the warmth of Martha's embrace.

Everything else?

What I have to do with that?
