Melting Pot Concept in Marvel

Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Melting 'Concept'

"So…where exactly have you brought me?"

Aaron looked around in confusion. The place before him was completely unfamiliar, somewhat resembling foreign-style architecture.

He lowered his head to look at his right palm, where among the lines of his hand lay a dark, unfathomable black hole.

It seemed to be spinning continuously, at times expanding and at others contracting, making one dizzy just from watching.

Simply looking at it gave him a strange chill.

Aaron was from Taiwan. He had lived under the red flag for twenty-two years.

He had just graduated from college and was getting ready to pick up his bucket and head for the factory job. Suddenly, a black hole popped into existence and sucked him in.

In that moment, he seemed to witness the birth and destruction of the universe.

The instant the endless cosmos exploded was breathtakingly beautiful.

And as the blast wave closed in, just when Aaron thought he was done for—

He was transported to this unknown world.

When he tried to ask what was going on,

Somehow, he received a stream of information.

That black hole was the newly born "Primordial Furnace," birthed from beyond the true Fourth Wall.

A conceptual furnace that can smelt all things and also create anything.

It can devour all, extracting the concept or traits within, and then return them to Aaron in the form of abilities or objects.

The Primordial Furnace transcends everything, even time and space.

It smelts all but creates all.

In theory, it even surpasses the concept of "concept" itself!

Of course, the Primordial Furnace was only just born. It needs to gather enough data to complete its initial accumulation.

And Aaron had become its host.

"In that case, why did you send me here?" Aaron asked, at a loss. "You could've said something earlier, instead of swallowing me on our first encounter!"

He had been sitting at home minding his own business, and then a black hole came out of nowhere like some abyssal monster.

"[That world was far too boring,]" came the cold reply.

"Boring? So you think this universe is interesting?" Aaron asked skeptically, looking around again—only for his pupils to contract sharply.

"Holy crap! Stark Tower? You dropped me into Marvel?!"

Stark Tower stood tall in New York's skyline, so distinctive in its design and signage that anyone would find it unforgettable at a glance.

Aaron felt anxious. This was a world where gods and super-beings roamed freely. Why leave a safe place just to come here—what, to deliver takeout?

"[I know you're worried, but don't be. Now that we've merged into one, we just need to complete the most basic accumulation, and we will transcend all!]"

Aaron's expression shifted slightly. "But will I still be me?"

"[You will always be you. Your soul and flesh have been remade. Both you and I will be filled with limitless possibilities.]"

That sounded good, but who knew if it was telling the truth? Aaron wondered silently if this thing had its own consciousness—it certainly seemed intelligent.

"[You are me, and I am you. I can't lie to myself!]"

That was concise enough to make Aaron relax a bit.

If that's true, isn't this just me talking to myself?

He shook his head; overthinking wouldn't help right now.

Having just arrived in the Marvel universe, he had no proper ID and no resources. The most pressing need was to make money, because in a capitalist world, money is everything. But before that, the top priority was gaining power!

Money was the foundation, but power was the key!

"According to what the Primordial Furnace said, I need to feed it stuff to help it grow?"

"So I'm basically raising a pet?" Aaron shook his head and looked around, rummaging through his pockets.

He found an Iphone and a crumpled piece of paper—nothing else.

In modern society, you can do without almost anything except your phone; it's indispensable.

But considering Marvel's strange tech tree, Aaron doubted a 2025 Iphone would be all that impressive here. So he casually tossed it into the black hole in his right palm.

Almost instantly,

The Primordial Furnace absorbed the phone, then spat out several beams of light that merged into his body through his palm.

Those points of light rapidly enhanced his body, flowing everywhere—most of them concentrated in his brain.

A faint stream of information surfaced in his mind:

[Super Brain]: Grants absolute memory, powerful searching, super processing, parallel computing, and more.

[Super Vision]: You can clearly see basketball-sized objects from hundreds of meters away.

[Super Perception]: You can sense signals and movements imperceptible to normal humans, including wireless signals, heartbeats, breathing, object sizes…

[Energy Control]: You can precisely control energy and calculate the energy consumption allocated to different regions.

[Lightning Control]: You can store and release electricity.

[Network Manipulation]: You can access the internet anytime and can easily perform a certain degree of manipulation.

[Super Agility]: You gain powerful flexibility and can easily perform extreme movements you couldn't before, with greater control over your body.

[Electromagnetic Control]: You can generate magnetic fields of a certain intensity and control them.

[Vibration]: You can vibrate.

[Body of Light]: You can emit and radiate light.

[…]

Aaron carefully sensed the earth-shaking changes in his body and couldn't help feeling thrilled.

His amazement boiled down to two words: "This is awesome!"

Just one phone had granted him so many practical powers, instantly turning him into "Iphone Man."

So what about other items?

At that moment, countless possibilities sprang to mind—

Infrared thermal imaging devices, X-ray scanners...

Not to mention various mutated insects and animals.

And then there were all the fantastic items in the Marvel universe—like 0-8-4s or the treasures in Asgard's vault.

Of course, the mysterious Infinity Stones!

Even superpowered beings and the Celestials themselves could be devoured!
