Melting Pot Concept in Marvel

Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Kate Bishop

After transforming into "Iphone Man," Aaron, now accustomed to his surroundings, began searching for new objects to feed into his furnace.

His eyes swept across the ground, spotting a group of tiny ants. At first, he passed by without a second thought, then paused and focused on them.

"Since I can smelt a cellphone, I can probably smelt ants too, right?"

He hesitated for a moment, then walked over, brought his right hand close to the ants, and with a whoosh, sucked one in through the palm of his hand.

Worried that the Primordial Furnace wouldn't get enough data from just one, Aaron absorbed a few more ants—ultimately catching a few dozen in one go.

After that, several beams of light emerged from the Primordial Furnace and, passing along his arm, merged into his body:

[Super Strength]: You can lift objects weighing up to 400 times your own body weight and drag objects 1,700 times heavier than yourself.

[Super Physique]: Your entire body has been further enhanced. Your muscle density has increased, and your skin's defense is now strong enough to withstand handgun bullets.

[Super Perception]: You can detect all sorts of pheromones in the air and easily tell them apart. Same-type ability detected… now merging… merging complete!

[Master of Nest-Building]: You possess an extremely powerful spatial sense, allowing you to use all kinds of materials to create massive labyrinth-like structures with ease.

"I'm insanely strong now!!"

Clenching his fists, Aaron felt an abrupt surge in his power—he believed he could punch a bull to death with a single strike!

And this was no illusion.

Originally, he had been 1.75 meters tall (about 5'9") and weighed 70 kg (around 154 lbs). But after this enhancement, he now stood at around 1.85 meters (just over 6 feet). Though he hadn't checked his new weight, just by looking at his rock-hard muscles, he figured he had to be well over 100 kg (220 lbs).

He was, in short, a true muscle-bound beast.

This meant he could now lift around 40 tons and drag well over 100 tons!

Even in the Avengers, combined with his other abilities, he could at least get a role as a somewhat notable supporting character—at least in the MCU.

Yet Aaron was still unsatisfied.

This was only the beginning!

He could become even stronger!

With just these abilities—and his clearly Asian features—he might still end up no better off than Blink (a minor Marvel character), lucky to get even a single line of dialogue. He needed more power!

His first goal: become invincible on Earth!

Using his Super Agility and Super Brain in tandem, Aaron spent some time training so he could control his newly enhanced strength with precision. Only then did he leave the alley and head onto an unfamiliar street.

Looking at the crowd of foreigners around him, Aaron felt a little dazed in this strange place—

a strange land and unfamiliar people.

But actually, now he was the foreigner here!

He shook his head and wandered without a set destination, thinking as he went.

He needed money, and lots of it—maybe even to build his own organization.

After all, how else was he going to collect all the items he wanted?

Never mind 0-8-4 objects or the treasures of Asgard; even gathering all the special life-forms on Earth would take him ages if he acted alone!

Of course, Aaron wasn't keen on slowly building a force from scratch. If there was a chance to take over an existing one, he'd grab it.

He looked around, scanning the street.

What's a quick way to make money?

A supermarket heist? An ATM? A bank?!

He shook his head. Growing up under the red flag for so many years, he wasn't about to adopt such "local customs" that easily—besides, this was the Marvel Universe.

"Ugh, it stinks here!"

"It really reeks!"

All along the way, Aaron kept rubbing his nose. Everyone smelled so strong—cheap perfume, body odor, all sorts of nasty stuff, plus countless combinations of smells.

He could even distinguish subtle differences, like each brand of perfume containing a unique pheromone signature.

With his Super Perception, he could detect dozens, if not hundreds, of distinct scents in the air at any given moment. It was torture—not because his brain couldn't process them all, but simply because it was disgusting!

By force of will, he gradually managed to tune out certain parts of his Super Perception, selectively turning off some functions.

Just then, he had a sudden thought.

"Maybe I could hack an ATM… or… kidnapping?"

He pried his gaze away from the ATM with difficulty and locked onto a little girl passing by.

She was about ten years old, wearing a white princess dress, with golden hair and delicate skin, skipping along cheerfully. She looked around as though everything excited her. Seeing Aaron looking at her, she smiled shyly.

"Mister, you're really handsome!"

Trying to hide her bashfulness, the little girl stole a few more glances at Aaron before slowly walking away. Even as she left, she kept turning her head to look back at him, never having seen anyone so good-looking, so exotic.

Aaron smiled warmly back.

Of course, he wasn't into little girls.

But after merging with the phone, he had gained extremely powerful analytic abilities, so in an instant he noticed dozens of small details about her:

the custom-made, high-end princess dress; the professionally styled hair; even the high-quality backpack…

Everything about her was broadcasting the message: I'm a little rich girl, and I've got money!

Connecting to the nearest wireless network, Aaron's gaze flickered as a smile tugged at his lips.

The little girl was none other than Kate Bishop, future Lady Hawkeye!

He recalled that her mother was the CEO of Bishop Security, right?

Aaron wondered if he should go meet his future mother-in-law—just kidding, of course.

He spotted a few suspicious figures slip through the crowd behind the girl.

"Well, since you said I'm handsome, I'll do you a favor this time!"

A dozen or so minutes later, at a crossroads on the edge of the wealthy district where fewer people were around, four large men in disguise exchanged glances and then rushed at the girl in unison.

"Hurry up—grab her before anyone notices!"

"Who are you?!"

She was terrified. Only about twelve, she had no way to defend herself against four adult men. With her tiny arms and legs, she couldn't outrun them either.

Seeing the men's fierce expressions, Kate suddenly noticed another figure closing in behind them, moving at remarkable speed. In one stride he covered more than ten meters, then in just an instant had crossed over a hundred meters, appearing right behind the four men.

And maybe it was just her imagination, but she thought she saw a faint glow radiating from him.

Kate Bishop's jaw dropped; she stared in disbelief.

"Mom… I think I just saw Superman!"

"Who?!"

The four men, clearly somewhat trained, noticed Kate's stare and immediately sensed someone behind them. But just as they turned their heads, a figure like a rampaging T-Rex flashed past, and they went flying like rag dolls for more than ten meters!

All four had been hurled away in under a second.

Aaron skidded to a stop in front of Kate Bishop, smiling. "Hey, kiddo, we meet again. You okay?"
