MHA: A Villain's Leading Wish

Inside the testing site, there was a huge building which was going to be used for the simulated battle.

Shinji and Midoriya took their positions and prepared themselves to fight against the other team.

Midoriya looked at his classmate with the same name as his former friend.

'Could it be a coincidence?' He asked himself.

There was no way that this student could be him, after all, they had different quirks and looks.

"Hello, my name is Midoriya, let's do our best and defeat the other team."

Without skipping a beat, Shinji shallowly introduced himself before they heard All Might's voice.

"Now, let's start the indoor person-to-person combat training with Team A and Team D!"

They headed inside the building and started navigating its long, and colorless corridors

'I'm really unlucky,' Shinji thought.

'Out of everyone that could be my partner it had to be the one I'm actively trying to avoid.'

They both walked cautiously while navigating this unknown place.

The villains, on the other hand, were having a discussion.

'What the hell do you mean that I should stay here defending this piece of metal?' Bakugo was about to erupt.

Hearing what her "partner" was saying, Momo made a displeased expression.

"Listen, it's better if you stay here, you have the most power. I can distract the heroes and if anyone escapes you can take care of them," she reasoned.

"To hell with this nonsense, I'm going to go out there and destroy that little twerp." Bakugo started leaving the area.

"Why do you care about him so much? Think reasonably for a second."

No matter what she told him, there was nothing she could do.

Bakugo ignored her and walked away.

Momo looked at his retreating figure for a few seconds before sighing.

'I guess I'll just stay here.'

Meanwhile, Shinji and Midoriya were getting closer to the bomb's position.

Everything seemed normal until an explosion went off besides them.

Shinji, having realized this, stepped away just in time before rolling aside to avoid a follow up attack.

Midoriya had been behind him and watched the whole thing unfold with a surprised look.

His expression hardened before rushing at his former friend.

He attacked Bakugo mercilessly on all angles but he avoided every attack skillfully.

'How come this loser became this fast and strong?'

Midoriya was relentless, nothing seemed to stop his speed from increasing which caused Bakugo to get hit.

"Deku, you quirkless bastard! How did you become this good, huh?!" Bakugo exploded from anger and started his counterattack.

Midoriya was forced to retreat.

"Kacchan, I realized that you don't need a quirk to be a hero. All you need is the will and determination to be one!"

Midoriya passionately screamed while avoiding the explosions.

Bakugo clenched his teeth before screaming in anger, "SHUT UP, QUIRKLESS BASTARD!"

While Midoriya and Bakugo were clashing, Shinji took this moment to search for the bomb.

He quickly moved through the building.

With his partial transformation in place, the room with the objective was found in an instant.

He stopped inches away from the entrance, there was something weird about the room.

Momo was nowhere to be seen, this was definitely a trap for whoever found this place.

The question now was what would happen when he entered.

Activating all his senses to the point of the human limit, he cautiously entered the room. 

As soon as he did so, a loud contraption activated and sharp objects started flying at him from all directions. 

Because of his preparation, he suffered no injuries during the attack.

What followed were balls that fell from above which released sleeping gas. 

Holding his breath, he escaped the dangerous situation in the blink of an eye.

Huge, steel nets were thrown in his direction, and while he dodged them, a series of small scaled explosions came out from them. 

With All Might, all the students with some exceptions were impressed by Momo's ability to strategize. 

"That's so manly!" Kirishima loudly exclaimed. 

"Wow! No wonder she got in with a recommendation," Uraraka said with her mouth wide open. 

All Might was looking at the footage with his iconic smile. 

'This girl has tons of potential, the same could be said for that boy, Shinji,' he thought. 

Back with Shinji, his expression grew irritably. 'It's time to end this.'

Shinji proceeded to ignore what was thrown his way and headed towards Momo. 

He'd spotted her just as he'd entered the room, she was hidden in the corner behind a pillar. 

With a swipe from his claw, the pillar was destroyed and Momo was revealed.

She was aiming at him with what seemed to be a tranquilizer gun. 

Reacting quickly, he dodged to the right, the dart almost entering his right bicep.

With the failure of this attack, Shinji quickly took her down without any effort. 

The last thing Momo saw was Shinji's fist making contact with her head, after that, nothing.

She was knocked unconscious before he secured the bomb, making the hero team the winner of this match.
