MHA : QUIRK EVOLUTION

Chapter 64: Chapter 064 : Warm Up

If U.A. students knew what they were thinking, they'd probably be laughing. After all, with their strength, they weren't worth the trouble of Class 1-A.

Ten minutes had passed since the start time, and the training ground was eerily quiet.

"Ezaki-kun, do we need a battle plan?"

A voice came from behind a pile of grass. It was Jiro Kyoka.

"A battle plan? We don't need that, right, Ezaki-kun?" Mineta said, looking at Ezaki Kitazawa with a weird smile.

"That's right! We don't need any battle plan," Kaminari Denki laughed.

Ezaki looked at both of them speechlessly and said, "Don't think too highly of me. Be careful not to mess up."

Just as Ezaki finished speaking, the sound of footsteps echoed nearby.

"Someone's coming," Jiro Kyoka said seriously.

"We found them, they're here!" Bakugo Katsuki shouted fiercely.

Soon after, four teams surrounded Ezaki Kitazawa's team.

"Join forces, four vs. one? This... Bakugo, you guys are too sneaky," Kaminari Denki frowned and said.

Mineta, standing behind Kaminari, added, "Exactly. Teaming up against just our one team is totally sneaky and shameful."

Bakugo Katsuki: "Sneaky?"

Todoroki Shoto: "Shameful?"

Midoriya Izuku: "Sneaky and shameful???"

Iida Tenya: "That doesn't really count, right?"

"Who cares about all that," Bakugo Katsuki said, with two lines of annoyance on his face.

Ezaki Kitazawa was a bit surprised. He hadn't expected all four teams to team up and target his team. But, this worked out well—Ezaki Kitazawa had found the training boring before, but now, with this, he became interested.

"Ezaki-kun, do you... do you have confidence?" Mineta turned to Ezaki and asked.

Actually, Mineta was starting to panic. He didn't know much about Ezaki Kitazawa. To him, one-on-one, they could probably win easily. But four against one? Honestly, he had no idea how it would turn out.

"That's troublesome," Ezaki said, pretending to be a little scared.

"How about... we just run away?" Mineta suggested.

"Run? How can we run? There's no way out," Kaminari Denki countered.

"What should we do then? They're too sneaky!" Mineta said, frowning.

"What else? We fight!" Ezaki replied.

Just as he finished speaking, Bakugo Katsuki lunged at him, and the peaceful forest was suddenly filled with the sound of an explosion, "Boom!"

At the same time, up on the high rock, the team from Yuuei Academy was watching every move of U.A.

"What's going on? It seems like they're ignoring us and going after that so-called Ezaki," Sekigai Kashiko said, a little curious.

"Yeah? And it looks like the other four teams have teamed up to take on Ezaki Kitazawa's team," Mongoose Habuko added.

"This is perfect! Let them fight among themselves, then we can make our move while they're distracted. This is basically a gift from the heavens for our Yuuei Academy," Fujimi Romero said, grinning.

"But from the looks of it, it really seems like the strongest one from U.A. Class 1-A is that Ezaki Kitazawa, like Sekigai said," Tadan Dadan said calmly.

"Forget whether he's first or Todoroki Shoto is, once he faces the attacks from four teams, he'll definitely lose in under ten minutes," Fujimi Romero said, his voice serious.

"That's true. Even if Ezaki Kitazawa is really strong, he's still facing nearly the whole class," Sekigai Kashiko said slowly. "If the top four from their class teamed up, maybe there's a slight chance."

In their eyes, Ezaki was definitely going to lose; it was just a matter of time.

Meanwhile, in the forest, explosions kept ringing out, and huge ice spikes shot up from the ground. The surrounding trees fell one after another.

Ezaki was being very careful with them. If he treated them like villain, he could probably finish them off much faster.

Todoroki and Bakugo were both starting to feel something was off. They could clearly tell that Ezaki's basic strength had increased, and despite being surrounded, he wasn't losing ground.

"What's going on with you?" Bakugo shouted, desperately launching explosions at Ezaki, but none of his attacks hit.

Ezaki dodged and replied, "What's wrong with me?"

Bakugo frowned, thinking to himself, "Does he not realize what's going on?"

In Bakugo's eyes, he had worked hard behind the scenes to surpass Ezaki Kitazawa. He felt like he was improving, but whenever they fought, it seemed like Ezaki Kitazawa had made huge progress with ease.

Every battle showed a clear difference in strength.

"Move!" Todoroki Shoto shouted, and Bakugo Katsuki quickly dove to the side.

The ground where Ezaki Kitazawa stood was instantly frozen, and the next moment, ice appeared on both sides, trapping him inside.

"This should hold him for now," Iida Tenya said, furrowing his brows.

"Impossible. This can only temporarily trap him. With the toughness of my ice, Ezaki Kitazawa could easily break free," Todoroki Shoto replied.

"Bakugo, how's your storage coming along?" Yaoyorozu Momo asked.

Bakugo Katsuki looked at the grenade-shaped wristbands in his hands and replied, "Not enough yet."

Just then, a cracking sound echoed.

The ice immediately shattered.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Dozens of wooden spikes shot out in all directions.

Then, Ezaki Kitazawa slowly walked out, grinning widely. "Alright, the warm-up is done. Are you all ready?"
