Minato May Have Been Your Father But He Ain't Your Daddy

Hanami held her daughter Hinata in her arms as she leaned against Itsuki's shoulder with a content expression on her face. 

She felt very liberated after dealing with the baggage that was her feelings, and she felt all warm and fluffy inside due to happiness and a sweet smile formed on her face. 

She was very excited that Itsuki would take her away from here but she was worried about her daughter too. 

She didn't know what was his opinion regarding Hinata as she was somebody else's blood and also was the default heir of the Hyuga clan. 

So even if she left the Hyuga clan with the help of Itsuki, she felt it was harder for her to take Hinata with her.

She didn't want to make things more difficult for him and didn't want to be a bother but at the same time, she didn't want to separate from her daughter which caused her happy mood to shift slightly and become a bit gloomy. 

" Is something wrong? " Itsuki noticed the shift in her mood and asked her gently. 

" I .... " Hanami who heard his concerned voice wanted to tell him but was hesitant about this matter and couldn't help but glance at her daughter's peaceful face and was tangled. 

" Are you worried about Hinata? " Itsuki asked calmly as he felt the only thing that could disturb her should be the matter concerning her daughter. 

" I... Y-Yes " Hanami opened her mouth in surprise then she had a hesitant expression on her face and nodded her head while biting her lips. " I-I don't want to be away from Hinata.... I am sorry for being a bother Itsuki-sama " Hanami closed her eyes and hung her head down in fear of seeing his negative reaction. 

While she was stewing in her negative she felt a warm hand on top of her head causing her to look upwards....

Itsuki felt a protective instinct take over him as met Hanami's upturned eyes which were gazing at him pitifully, she reminded him of a small animal that others wouldn't dare bully. 

He couldn't help but hold her delicate face in his palms as he met her vulnerable gaze, he could see shyness creeping up in her eyes as her face reddened and due to him holding her face she couldn't look anywhere else other than him which caused his lips to curl up in amusement and he could see the cute pout on her lips as she cutely glared at him in embarrassment. 

" I'll take both of you away from here ~, " Itsuki said with a smile as he leaned down to land a soft kiss on Hanami's forehead which caused her to turn red like a cooked shrimp.

He couldn't help but not get enough of teasing her due to her cute reaction.....

Hiruzen Sarutobi was sitting in his office as he was looking out of the window dazed as he was deep in his thoughts. 

He looked much more relaxed compared to a few months ago, due to him letting go of some burdens. 

Now that he was the only one who was making decisions instead of it being a discussion among his three friends, he felt it was much less headache-inducing and relaxing. He didn't have to argue in the office and could decide as he wanted. 

He could always have done that but he admitted that he was a pushover and gave too much importance to his 'friends' opinions to the point he didn't decide without consulting them. 

And due to his ignorance his best friend, the same best friend who had tried to kill him before for the Hokage position, Danzo had grown to a point where he couldn't outright take action against him without causing turmoil in the village. 

The ROOT had grown too strong and he chided himself for being an idiot for allowing his friend to have his private army, which turned into a Sword of Damocles that was hanging above his head.

He couldn't do anything even if he wanted to due to the fear of causing a civil war. 

If a Civil war erupted in Konoha then the other villages would surely take advantage of it, it's easy for someone who was not in his position to question why he hadn't gotten rid of Danzo yet.

But the problem was he didn't want to get rid of him when he could because the man was practically like his brother, one of the most important people in his life. 

But when he had no choice but to consider ending the scourge he had unknowingly created and nurtured, he just couldn't. 

He was no longer able to get rid of Shimura Danzo nor the ROOT due to him and his organization growing so strong and influential that, taking action against them would cause unnecessary damage to Konoha. 

He didn't want to harm Konoha especially during this time of peace when they were trying to lick their wounds.

He had to watch as Danzo committed all those things in the name of Konoha, he did his best to restrain him but sometimes he would also turn a blind eye to some things. 

He never once believed he was innocent, he always believed he was a sinner.

All the atrocities Danzo did were his Sarutobi Hiruzen's fault. He was more or less responsible for letting Danzo grow to this point.

He indirectly killed Itsuki's parents. Tsunade's clan members, all those children used for experimentation, his wife and son, and all the people ROOT killed over the years. Their blood was on his hands. 

He , Hiruzen Sarutobi was a Sinner.....
