Miracle Summoner

Chapter 2378: -2378- Unexpected guests

Over the following days, Rozen mostly remained at home, focusing on restoring his mana and nurturing his magic circuits to return them to their original operational efficiency.

However, this time Rozen had truly overdone it. His magic circuits continued to function in a suboptimal state, and relying solely on nurturing for recovery would likely take an unknown, perhaps enormous, amount of time.

"I really don't know why Miracle had to suck that hard," Rozen muttered helplessly.

But there was no helping it. Activating Miracle using incomplete Foreign Mana and opening the Gate to the records of so many worlds meant that such a massive drain was perfectly natural.

If anything, the fact that Rozen hadn't been completely drained, losing even his life force, was already due to Miracle holding back.

After all, just thinking about opening the Gates to countless worlds all at once suggested an unimaginable energy demand. The fact that Rozen only ended up with malfunctioning circuits was a miracle in itself. Had it been anyone else, their circuits would have been utterly fried. Only Rozen's magic circuits, containing infinite possibilities, could withstand such a feat.

Of course, without Mash resolutely offering up the Holy Grail, even if Rozen had made it through safely, he still wouldn't have had the strength to complete Cleansing.

Because of that, Rozen had gone out of his way to buy Mash lots of gifts, leaving her both embarrassed and deeply content.

If his mana had recovered a bit more, Rozen would've already asked her out on a proper date to show his gratitude. That's how thankful he was this time.

That said, Rozen still needed to figure out how to solve his mana problem.

Even if he couldn't immediately return to his peak, he at least needed to accelerate his mana recovery and improve his circuit efficiency. Otherwise, who knew how long he'd be stuck in this weakened state?

Thus, Rozen began crafting special elixirs to aid his recovery.

Thanks to Cleansing, Rozen could create such elixirs outright without even having to brew them manually.

One had to admit, this forbidden spell was downright broken—like a cheat code that granted wishes within a limited scope despite the heavy restrictions. With Cleansing active, Rozen could've made not just mana elixirs but even immortality potions on the spot.

Unfortunately, with his current mana reserves running low, he could only produce enough to modestly aid mana recovery and support the nurturing of his circuits.

It left him with the distinct sense of middle-aged resignation—like a man steeping goji berries in a thermos for health.

"Come to think of it, I've lived for over a hundred years... I've probably passed middle age already," Rozen often joked, sighing as he continued taking his elixirs.

His Servant girls inside his body couldn't help but laugh, though they all quietly reduced their activity to lessen his mana consumption and help him accumulate it.

Even the Familiars Rozen had dispatched to protect his companions were recalled to prevent unnecessary losses.

After all, nothing urgent was happening now. Rozen's companions no longer required constant protection, so he could redirect his mana to more critical needs.

For example, Tenyuryo—the spear Rozen had given to Himeragi Yukina—was still his Familiar. Although it didn't consume much mana in its dormant state and Yukina, as its user, was now providing the needed energy, Rozen still had to supply a minimal baseline mana to keep it materialized.

Then there were the girls from other worlds who had formed contracts with him. Their very existence still depended on Rozen's mana—let alone when they entered battle.

Rozen even received a barrage of telepathic messages from those girls, who sensed something was wrong through their contracts. He was nearly overwhelmed by the mental bombardment.

But once they understood Rozen's condition, they considerately agreed to avoid battles for now to prevent draining him further.

Rozen, however, had one thing to say:

"If it's really necessary, then fight. Don't ever suppress yourselves."

With that promise from Rozen, the girls were moved and reassured, returning to their respective duties.

In any case, Rozen hoped to avoid mana depletion and quietly recover during this period.

But things on Itogami Island were becoming increasingly lively.

Because of the recent incident, high-level officials from all over the world had begun arriving at Itogami Island to negotiate with the Management Cooperative.

Even nations not part of the Sanctuary Treaty were invited as observers to this conference.

In other words, the representatives of every nation would be gathering on this island.

Including local allies of Itogami Island.

For instance...

"Long time no see, Nichiyo."

One day, at the Minamiya residence, an uninvited guest suddenly barged in, cheerfully greeting Rozen, who was in the living room preparing a fresh batch of elixirs.

"La Folia?"

Kanase Kanon, who happened to be at home, had been chatting with Akatsuki Nagisa and Avrora Florestina. Upon seeing the foreign princess stride in, they were all stunned.

"You're... the princess of the Kingdom of Aldegyr?" Nagisa quickly stood up in surprise.

"A foreign Spirit Medium..." Avrora timidly lowered her head.

Indeed, the visitor was La Folia Rihavein.

But she wasn't alone in coming to the Minamiya residence.

Accompanying her was a couple—a particularly striking pair.

"My apologies for the unexpected visit. Please forgive the intrusion."

The one who spoke so politely, with a gentle smile and refined tone, was a graceful woman dressed in a high-class gown, with long, silver hair that bore a strong resemblance to La Folia's. She looked to be in her late twenties or early thirties, exuding a noble and dignified aura—like a grown-up version of La Folia.

Beside her stood a burly man in a suit, oddly draped in a flashy silver cape.

His arms, legs, shoulders, and chest were pure muscle. With unruly red hair and thick eyebrows resembling a lion's mane, he radiated overwhelming masculine dominance—his mere presence was suffocating. In stark contrast to the elegant lady beside him, he gave off a clear beauty and the beast vibe.

But right now, this beast-like man was glaring at Rozen with undisguised hostility, as if ready to devour him on the spot.

"..."

Rozen was at a loss for words.

What's with that look?

Did I rob your house or something?
