Miracle Summoner

Chapter 2454: -2354- You want me?

"————"

Heaven and earth fell into silence.

The three goddesses each radiated awe-inspiring divinity—one supporting a colossal body, one standing atop a feathered serpent-winged dragon looking down, and another flying under the night sky upon a sky vessel. They appeared so divine, so overwhelmingly powerful.

Mash silently raised her shield, staring at the three goddesses. Her gaze shifted momentarily before firming with resolve, standing firmly in front of Rozen, clearly unwilling to retreat even a single step.

Rozen's gaze swept over the three goddesses in turn, his eyes flickering with unreadable thoughts.

Kingu, however, looked at the newly descended Ishtar with a grim expression.

Yet perhaps out of concern for Gorgon, he did not strike the one responsible for luring him away and causing all of this.

In this tense standoff, Gorgon, Quetzalcoatl, and Ishtar all fixed their gazes on Rozen, each carrying a different emotion.

In Gorgon's eyes burned hatred and rage.

Quetzalcoatl's eyes showed curiosity and delight.

And in Ishtar's eyes was a hint of helplessness and hesitation.

Rozen, now targeted by the three goddesses who had wrought havoc in this era and caused the Singularity to form, was under tremendous pressure.

Yet Rozen ignored the pressure entirely, watching on with unshaken calm.

This composure triggered varied reactions from the goddesses.

Quetzalcoatl showed admiration.

Ishtar showed acknowledgement.

Gorgon's hatred and fury only deepened, until she finally turned her gaze toward the other two goddesses and shouted:

"If you're not here to stop me, then stay out of my way!"

Gorgon's injuries had mostly healed, and she surged with terrifying mana.

However, at that moment, both Quetzalcoatl and Ishtar voiced differing views.

"Hey, Gorgon, I'm quite interested in that child. How about giving him to me?" Quetzalcoatl said with a cheerful smile.

But before Gorgon could reply, Ishtar spoke up.

"No way!" Ishtar snapped without hesitation. "That human was already claimed by me! Neither of you are allowed to take him!"

This goddess actually had the gall to say something like that.

"Miss Ishtar?"

Mash stared in astonishment.

Even the Chaldea personnel were caught off guard by Ishtar's statement—one by one, they were stunned.

"W-What's with that look!?" Ishtar flushed, as if only just realizing what she'd said. She panicked, yet tried her best to maintain a composed front.

"I am a goddess, after all. Isn't it normal to fancy a brave warrior now and then?"

Indeed, in Mesopotamian mythology, Ishtar was known as a goddess of passion, having shown affection toward both divine and mortal heroes. This had led to many entanglements—such as those involving Gilgamesh and Enkidu.

Now, this goddess seemed to have set her sights on Rozen. While not quite a declaration of love, it was certainly a claim of ownership in front of the other two goddesses.

But both Quetzalcoatl's and Ishtar's claims were refuted.

Not by Gorgon—but by Kingu.

"You two want to protect that human Master?" Kingu said coldly. "You'd better not be foolish. That Master is an enormous threat—even more dangerous than that foolish king hiding in Uruk!"

As he spoke, lightning flashed and thunder roared from Kingu's body, golden ripples forming around him.

"Someone like that must be eliminated!"

With that declaration, Kingu launched his attack without hesitation.

From the golden ripples, a multitude of weapons emerged, turning into radiant golden light that surged toward Rozen.

"...!"

Mash immediately reacted and tried to rush forward to block the incoming assault.

But before she could, countless flashes rained down from the sky, intercepting and repelling Kingu's attack.

The source of the flashes—was Ishtar.

"I already said, that human belongs to me. None of you are allowed to touch him!"

Ishtar rested her hand on Maanna, using it in its bow form to gather arrows of divine light.

"You...!" Kingu's face twisted with fury.

Then Gorgon moved as well.

"That human is my prey!"

With overflowing hatred, Gorgon activated her Mystic Eyes, unleashing a torrent of pitch-black petrifying light toward Rozen.

"Hey!"

Just then, a voice rang out from the sky.

Quetzalcoatl, standing on her feathered serpent-winged dragon, hurled her wide-bladed sword like a spinning wind wheel. It crashed into the ground with a thunderous impact, standing upright like a gravestone—blocking the beam from Gorgon's Mystic Eyes.

"Sorry, Gorgon," she said brightly. "You hate all of humanity, not any one person specifically. So turning that child into a statue for your temple is kind of a waste, right? Why not just hand him over to me?"

Quetzalcoatl beamed radiantly.

"Quetzalcoatl...!"

Now, Gorgon finally released true killing intent and hostility toward her.

The three goddesses stood off against each other, the divine pressure they emitted shaking the atmosphere itself.

This scene struck terror into the hearts of everyone in Chaldea.

Mash was shocked as well.

"The goddesses are actually turning against one another… over Senpai…!"

Mash struggled to believe the situation.

Anyone would have a hard time believing that these three goddesses were fighting over Rozen.

Though for different reasons—Gorgon simply wanted to kill Rozen with her own hands; Quetzalcoatl was intrigued and fascinated by him; and Ishtar seemed intent on protecting him—the result was a three-way divine standoff.

Still, none could deny that because of Rozen, the three goddesses were at odds.

But only Rozen knew—the three of them wouldn't actually fight.

Because of the pact.

After forging a non-aggression pact, the three great goddesses were bound—if they fought, they would suffer divine punishment. At worst, complete erasure. Even at best, they would lose their powers.

This was an enormous restriction.

With that in mind, Rozen could already guess what the three would do next.

It was simple.

"Well then, let's say whoever catches him first gets to keep him!"

With Quetzalcoatl's gleeful declaration, the scene exploded into motion.

All three goddesses set their sights on Rozen, and immense pressure fell upon him.

Unfortunately for them...

"You want me?"

Rozen spoke expressionlessly.

"Then why don't you ask my Servant if she agrees first?"

As his words fell, a fog of illusion appeared in front of Rozen and Mash once again.

Within the mist, a white-haired girl revealed herself.

The overwhelming pressure between heaven and earth instantly vanished.

The immense divine aura in the air recoiled as if facing a fearsome predator, receding with a mournful wail.

Wielding the Sword of the War God, Altera finally appeared on the battlefield.

"You—!"

At that moment, apart from Ishtar—who already knew of Altera's presence—both Gorgon and Quetzalcoatl's expressions changed drastically.
