MULTIVERSE TRAVEL STARTS FROM NARUTO WITH GACHA

Chapter 5: move out

A boy around fifteen stepped into the room. Inside, a younger boy lay on the bed, his face peaceful as he slept. Beside him, a woman gently stroked his hair, her focus entirely on the child.

"What is it, Itsuki?" she asked without looking up.

Itsuki sat down next to her, his expression unreadable. "It's about Hiroshi. He's gone missing, and the guards can't find him."

The woman's hand froze for a moment, but her face betrayed little. She resumed stroking the boy's hair, her voice colder this time. "How dare he cause trouble now? Of all days, when the Konoha envoys are here.Doesn't he know about them?"

Itsuki shrugged. "I think he knows. Everyone in the mansion does. Seems like he's been getting bolder lately."

The woman let out a quiet sigh, her gaze softening briefly as she looked at the sleeping boy. Then, she turned to Itsuki, her eyes sharp. "You need to stay focused, Itsuki. You're fourth in line. That means your chances are slim at best. Effort alone won't get you anywhere. You'll need alliances, strength, and the wisdom to navigate this family's politics."

"I know, Mother. I've been working hard," Itsuki replied, sitting straighter under her piercing gaze.

She leaned forward slightly, her voice firm but measured. "Remember this, Itsuki. How well you and your brother survive depends entirely on you. This world doesn't reward strength alone it rewards those who know how to use it and when."

Itsuki hesitated for a moment before speaking, his voice tinged with curiosity. "Mother, I still don't understand something. Why does Father have so much power over the Hokage? From what I know, the Hokage doesn't seem weaker. Why does the village have to negotiate with him?"

The woman gave a short laugh, cutting him off. "Power isn't everything, Itsuki. Not when it's not absolute. Konoha may have strength, but it's still part of the Land of Fire. The daimyo controls the resources, the land, and the economy. The shinobi may have quality, but the daimyo has quantity. Without balance, even the strongest forces crumble."

Her gaze darkened slightly. "The Hokage and the daimyo are not equals, and they never will be. Senju Hashirama may have been the only one who could have bridged that gap, but he chose stability over domination. If anyone tries to disrupt the balance now, it will spark a conflict far worse than the one we're already in."

She continued, "The concept of the daimyo is deeply rooted in this world. People may not realize it, but no one becomes a daimyo without the strength and ability to hold that position. It's not just inherited power it's earned, proven through action and leadership."

Itsuki frowned. "So even the strongest are bound by politics…"

"Exactly," she said, her tone softening. "Strength fades, Itsuki. Influence lasts. Learn that, and you'll survive."

While she was busy giving her son life lessons, she had no idea her nephew was already gone.

Hiroshi was out of the town, walking through the forest with only the sound of his footsteps breaking the quiet.

A teenage boy stepped out from the trees, dressed in clothes that seemed a little too tight for his liking. Tugging at the sleeves, he muttered, "I really should've thought this through before drinking that potion."

His face, though still clearly Hiroshi's, had changed. He looked older and more mature. The aging potion had done its job, and while it made him feel uncomfortable in his clothes, it was exactly what he needed to make leaving easier.

This had been the plan all along get out of the mansion after he got to know about the people coming from konoha.

The potion? Just an unexpected boost.

"Time to start over," he said to himself, glancing back at the town one last time before turning his eyes forward. With each step, he felt lighter, freer, like he was finally walking toward something that was his.

Over the past few days, he had spent his time gathering information from the merchants passing through town, learning about the directions to various villages and landmarks. Now, he was certain of where his destination lay.
