Greenwich is located in the southeastern part of Greater London, England, on the southern bank of the Thames. It is the site of the Prime Meridian, and within the Royal Greenwich Gardens by the Thames stands a world-renowned comprehensive observatory—the Greenwich Observatory.

This is an observatory with a history spanning centuries.

Although the Greenwich Observatory was relocated fifty years ago, its original site remains. Ordinary people assume it was abandoned due to obsolescence, but only those in the mystical world know the truth—the observatory was moved because its original location was repurposed as the headquarters of a comprehensive magical organization in England, known as the Greenwich Assembly.

The origins of the Greenwich Assembly were rather laughable—it wasn't founded by any single individual, but rather emerged as a small intelligence-sharing group formed by a bunch of busybodies with a penchant for gossip. Who would have thought that such an informal gathering, not even qualifying as a proper mage association, would eventually evolve into one of the most renowned organizations in the mystical world?

The composition of the Greenwich Assembly was extraordinarily diverse, including magicians, fairy doctors, occult scholars, even technology experts, amateur researchers, clergy, artists, nobility, royalty, and wealthy individuals with substantial fortunes.

The Greenwich Assembly could hardly be called a tightly-knit organization; it was more of a loose network designed for exchanging information. For those connected to the mystical world, it served as the best channel to stay updated on the latest developments.

Today, an extraordinary meeting was taking place at the Greenwich Observatory.

The reason the Greenwich Assembly was referred to as an "Assembly" lay in its governance by a group of elderly sages. Taking inspiration from the ancient Greek philosopher Diogenes, they determined the organization's direction through council-style deliberations.

"An emergency meeting today—which Demon King has stirred up trouble this time?"

Amid the gathering of white-haired scholars, there stood an exceptionally unique woman. She possessed a slender figure, radiant platinum-blonde hair, and skin as fair as frost. Though appearing to be in her early twenties, she exuded the poised elegance of a noblewoman while seated.

The woman carried an enchanting aura, reminiscent of the world's most precious perfume. Dressed in a white cashmere sweater adorned with a floral knot at the collar and draped with an exquisite shawl over her delicate shoulders, she rested her hands gracefully on the arms of her chair. Her clear, melodious voice carried a hint of resignation as she spoke, yet it was brimming with curiosity and enthusiasm.

She was none other than the former Chairwoman of the Greenwich Assembly, now serving as a special advisor—Alice Louis, known by her epithet, the 'Sage Princess.' Most simply referred to her as 'Princess Alice.'

Though the youngest in the council, Princess Alice was Europe's most powerful witch—not in combat, but in spiritual vision. Gifted with extraordinary talent and vast knowledge, she had become Chairwoman in her teens, though the role held little practical significance for the Greenwich Assembly.

Later, whether out of boredom or genuine exhaustion, she resigned under the pretext of "poor health." This was no mere excuse—her overwhelming spiritual power left her far frailer than the average person, a condition neither magic nor science could remedy.

"Princess Alice, this emergency meeting concerns the new King."
