MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM

Chapter 142: Christopher Vs the Knight III

Christopher Vs the Knight III

The moment Christopher finished uttering those words, a change occurred as he transformed.

Light.

A radiant glow ignited beneath his skin. Veins of brilliant gold-white light spread through his body like cracks. His eyes turned pure white and bathed everything in their brilliance as they shone like two suns.

Then came the fire.

It wasn't a normal fire or the typical fire he used. This time, Blue-white flames erupted from his body, twisting and turning unnaturally. They didn't flicker like ordinary flames, but instead, they flowed along his body like water, the heat causing not just the air, but the very space to distort.

Finally, there was the gravity.

It was unseen, but its impact was no less spectacular. The ground beneath his feet started to crack and crumble and the unseen force interacted with the light and fire before blending the two.

Christopher's white cloak flapped violently as it became suffused with colors of blue, white, and gold, and his hood fell back to reveal his hair that was swaying as well as a similarly themed blue, white, and gold halo floated above his head.

His mask had the colors grow on its surface like vines growing on a wall, and Christopher's arms up to his shoulders had this light gently slide up them into the air.

However, even though it seemed gentle, the reality was that Christopher looked utterly terrifying right now.

When the transformation ended, his body looked like the center of a supernova, with swirling rings of immolating blue, white, and gold surrounding him brilliantly.

And these rings weren't just for show either as they were spinning at unbelievable speeds with the help of gravity causing them to give off a similar terrifying hum as what one would encounter if faced with an accretion disk of a black hole.

Simply put, he looked spectacular as well as terrifying.

His presence right now was bringing forth a lot of heat, causing the perpetually cold mountain to start melting. However, this heat was being met by the frigid cold of the knight that didn't seem perturbed by the fact that one of its heavier attacks had been block with the palm of Christopher hand, nor did it seem deterred by his new transformation.

Instead, it had only one goal, and that was to defeat its opponent.

Instead, it bashed its sword against its shield twice, and took a step.

The moment it took that step, hundreds of thick horizontal ice pillars shot out of the ground like snakes towards Christopher.

Christopher smiled behind his mask and leaned forward before shooting forward. He passed all the pillars, and a moment later, they were all sl8ced into pieces.

Christopher reached the knight and swung Norn just as the knight swung its sword, and another Titanic clash erupted, shaking the entire mountain.

Their blades pressed firmly against each other as they used a split second to gaze into each other's eyes. Granted, Christopher's eyes were obscured by his mask.

The two broke off before going at it immediately after.

Their figures turned into streaks of light that flashed across the mountain. Yes, the mountain, not the arena as it was no longer good enough to handle their battle. So its range had to increase, and the entire mountain became the new arena.

The two of them fought viciously as every strike was aimed at ending the other person's life.

Each collision was more terrifying than the last as large chunks of rock were eviscerated whenever they collided, and many creatures died before they even knew what was happening.

'This is fun. This is very fun.' Christopher thought with almost childlike excitement as he traded blows with the knight over and over again. He didn't bother counting how many times they'd clashed, but it was well over a million times at this point.

He always used to find it weird how certain characters could go into crazed excitement whenever the prospect of fighting someone that could match them arose. After all, why would someone be excited by fighting someone that had the capacity to kill them?

However, as Christopher fought this knight more and more, he found himself beginning to understand those characters more and more.

The thrill the fight gave him, the freedom to move and use his various skills. Not to mention the perpetual pressure that forced him to impr9ve as the battle went on. It was all so overwhelming, but in a good way. In a very good way.

Christopher didn't know it, but he was grinning like a maniac behind his mask.

Despite his excited state however, he didn't lose his cool. In fact, his kind was running countless thoughts every second.

Each clash, each dodge, each deflection, each skill used, Christopher analyzed it was chilling precision and used them to improve himself. To improve the way he m9ved, the way he fought, the way he killed.

Right now, his uncanny comprehension speed was coming into play once more, as the knight realised that gradually, its combat technique that had been developed over millenia was being dismantled in a matter of seconds, and its powerful defense was getting pried apart slowly.

No matter what it did, no matter how it moved or responded, this being before it effortlessly analyzed and picked apart its style and flow with ease.

Every action it made, from the big ones to the small and almost imperceptible ones, they were observed and countered effectively.

At some point, the knight felt as though it was fighting a reflection of itself, but that illusion went away as it realised that it was fighting something far more terrifying.

In a scarily short amount of time, its combat style had been completely dismantled and taken apart, and this masked being before it wasted no time in using it against the knight.

No matter how they tried to explode with power, they were suppressed and rebuffed effortlessly. Whatever resistance it tried to put up was slapped away like it was nothing, and before it knew it, its entire stance had been shattered leaving it completely open.

Christopher clenched his fist and sent forth a devastating right hook that connected with the knight's helmet and sent it plummeting down.

It crashed into the side of the mountain and that side exploded into countless chunks of rock and rock fragments.

Before it could get up, Christopher was already above it and pressed his foot on its chest plate that had cracked in several places.

He locked eyes with knight and they looked at each other for a few seconds before the knight's helmet could no longer hold itself together and fell apart.

When it did, Christopher was momentarily surprised by what he saw.

Pale blue hair flowed down the knight's shoulders as its... her face was revealed.

Indeed, the knight was a female, and a beautiful one at that.

Her expression was cold and emotionless, her skin was almost as pale as the white snow that populated the hidden realm and had a lovely oval shape. Her icy blue eyes glowed as her sharp eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly.

Christopher blinked a few times. Then he said lightly.

"What's a lady like you doing in a place like this?" He said it lightly, but he was definitely mocking her.

He felt like trolling a bit, but seeing as she didn't respond, he sighed.

"You were an incredible adversary, I'll give you that." He folded his arms before pondering.

"Say, how long have you been here?" He asked.

"..."

"What's your name?"

"..."

"Can you even talk?"

"..."

Christopher sighed, she wasn't going to respond. That much was clear.

Still, he wasn't perturbed. That's because he saw her as a perfect candidate to add to his Dimension.

Not only was her combat prowess incredible, she also had the strength to back it up, so she'd make an excellent addition.

Moreover, he knew that her appearance in this place wasn't by coincidence. It seemed too convenient that there was a large door containing a highly skilled entity waiting for him at the top of a mountain. So the chances were that she knew a lot about the hidden realm. So if he tool her as his subordinate, not only would he be able to learn a lot of things, he'd also have a capable helper.

He also thought she'd pair well with Prism. The elusive being was somewhere near him, waiting for a chance to fulfill her role as his hidden blade. Though it seemed she didn't quite know what that meant as he intended to send her to complete tasks, not be his personal bodyguard.

But this knight here could fulfill that role perfectly. So he was committed to making her work for him.

So without wasting any more time, he transported her into his Dimension, and a moment later, he heard the system prompt that something had been enhanced.

Satisfied, Christopher canceled his transformation and went to the base of the mountain to continue his march.
