My Adventures As The Saiyan God of destruction

Chapter 19: The beasts with white hair

As the moon rose, Kade felt a familiar tingle in his spine. He looked up, his gaze locked on the massive orb hanging above, and his body began to transform. His muscles bulged, his tail sprouted, and his fur grew thick and black. He was a Great Ape—a form usually uncontrollable and terrifying, yet Kade had learned to tame the beast within during his three years of rigorous training.

Aria watched, one hand over her mouth to stifle a laugh. "Well, that's a look," she quipped, eyeing his new form.

"I know, right?" Kade said, flexing his ape muscles. "But I think it's the perfect time to learn this Super Saiyan 4 stuff." He paused, trying to recall the intricate steps the Elite Five had taken to achieve the form. "So, it's like... meditate, then get really mad, and maybe throw in some ki blasts for good measure?"

Aria couldn't hold back her laughter any longer. "I swear, you're going to be the death of me," she said, wiping a tear from her eye. "I guess it really doesn't matter this place is already a shit hole anyway"

Kade, now a colossal Great Ape with a glowing blue aura, looked down at her, his expression a mix of embarrassment and excitement. "What? It's a classic move!"

Aria rolled her eyes. "And what happens when you go Super Saiyan while in that state?"

Kade's grin grew wider. "Well, I'm not entirely sure, but it's gotta be epic!"

With a deep breath, he focused his energy and felt it surge through his ape body. His muscles bulged and his fur receded, revealing golden skin beneath. The transformation washed over him, and suddenly, he was no longer just a Great Ape; he was a Golden Great Ape. The raw power was unlike anything he'd ever felt before—it was intoxicating, but it was also terrifying.

"Whoa, what's happening?" Kade exclaimed, his voice deeper and more primal.

Aria's eyes widened as she took in the spectacle before her. "Kade, I don't think that's how Super Saiyan works with the Great Ape transformation."

But Kade was beyond listening. The power surging through him was too much to contain. His mind regressed to a primitive state, the thrill of battle overriding all reason. He was a force of nature now, a golden behemoth with no concept of restraint or duty.

The ground trembled beneath his massive feet as he roared, the sound echoing through the desolate landscape of Planet Z-7. The once-still air whipped into a frenzy, sending debris flying in all directions. The power was unbridled, chaotic—everything a god of destruction should embody, but in a way that was utterly uncontrolled.

Aria watched in horror as the golden beast that was once Kade rampaged across the planet. Her attempts to communicate with him were met with guttural snarls and fiery glares. It was as if he had become a creature of pure destruction, the very essence of his title.

"Kade, snap out of it!" she shouted over the din, her voice straining to be heard above the cacophony of his rage. "You're not supposed to be this... this feral!"

Her words were lost on him, the golden giant swiping his massive arms at everything in his path. Aria knew she had to act fast. This was not the kind of destruction the universe needed from its God of Destruction—this was mindless chaos.

Gritting her teeth, Aria flew into action. She knew she couldn't match Kade's brute strength in this state, so she had to be smart. She waited for the perfect moment, watching the beast's erratic movements, calculating the trajectory of his next wild swing. When the opportunity presented itself, she shot like a comet, her fist glowing with a divine light.

Her punch connected with the side of Kade's massive head, and with a thunderous crack, the Golden Great Ape's form dissipated. For a brief moment, Kade hovered in the air, his eyes flashing a deep crimson before his body began to shrink. Aria watched in awe as the energy coalesced into something new—his hair grew out, his body morphed back to human-like proportions, and a tail sprouted from his backside. With a final burst, Kade transformed into Super Saiyan 4, a form that was both terrifying and magnificent.

Kade's new form was a stark contrast to his previous rampage. He hovered there, his eyes glowing with a fierce, focused power that seemed to demand the attention of the cosmos itself. His long, flowing hair danced in the wind of his own creation, and his muscles rippled with a might that could topple planets with ease.

But the transformation had taken its toll. The moment he took in the gravity of his newfound power, Kade's knees buckled, and he collapsed to the ground. The sheer energy expenditure had drained him, and his body could no longer sustain the form.

"Kade!" Aria shouted, rushing to his side. "What have you done?"

Kade groaned, his body trembling with exhaustion. "It...it's all fun and games until someone turns into a giant golden monkey," he murmured, a faint smile playing on his lips despite the pain.

Aria rolled her eyes but couldn't help the worry that creased her brow. She placed her hand on Kade's forehead, her divine energy flowing into him like a gentle stream of warmth. The bruises from his fall faded, and the color returned to his cheeks. Her healing abilities were swift and thorough—a stark reminder of the power that lay within her angelic grace.

"Thanks, Aria," Kade said, pushing himself to his feet with a grunt. He stretched, his tail swishing behind him. "I guess I got a little carried away."

"That's an understatement," Aria muttered, but her eyes were kind. "But we don't have time to dwell on it. We have a planet to save—or destroy, depending on what you decide."

Her words brought Kade back to reality. He nodded solemnly and closed his eyes, focusing on the planet's lifeforce. The energy was faint, but a flicker remained—a heartbeat in the vast expanse of dying power.

"I sense something," he murmured, his eyes snapping open. "A fading signature."

Without another word, Kade shot into the sky, his newfound speed leaving Aria to trail behind. His body blazed like a comet as he streaked across the planet's surface. The once-mighty God of Destruction had become a guardian, seeking out the last vestige of hope amidst the impending doom.

He landed with a thud in a desolate wasteland, the ground trembling beneath his feet. Before him lay the grisly sight of a blue alien, his body cleaved cleanly in two. The creature's eyes, filled with terror and desperation, found Kade's own.

"The beasts," the alien gasped, his voice a mere whisper. "They... have white hair... flee from them..."

The words hung in the air, heavy with the weight of impending doom. Kade knelt beside the dying creature, his heart racing with a mix of confusion and compassion. The alien's body was a grim testament to the power of whatever had done this. His gaze searched the horizon, expecting to find the source of the destruction at any moment.

"White hair?" he murmured, looking back at Aria, who hovered anxiously above. Her usually playful expression was replaced with concern. "Could it be...?"

Aria nodded gravely. "It's possible. We've encountered beings with white hair capable of immense destruction before."

Ignoring the tremor of fear that rippled through him, Kade took a deep breath and focused his energy.

"Aria, keep an eye out for any... other surprises," he said, his voice steady despite the gravity of the situation.

With a solemn nod, Aria took to the skies, her golden aura trailing her as she soared over the barren landscape. Kade watched her for a moment before his gaze shifted back to the horizon. His fist clenched, and he took a deep breath, feeling the power of Hakai coalesce within him. It was a feeling he had grown accustomed to over the years, but one that never failed to fill him with awe.

"Alright, Aria," he called out, his voice echoing in the quietude, "let's do what we came here to do"

With a flick of his wrist, Kade conjured a minuscule sphere of Hakai energy, the power of destruction so concentrated that it was invisible to the naked eye. He tossed it casually into the air, watching as it grew slightly, a smirk playing on his lips. It was a simple gesture, one that belied the immensity of what he was about to do.

The tiny Hakai ball hung in the sky for a moment, seemingly frozen in time. Then, with a sudden, inexplicable urgency, it shot towards the planet below, growing exponentially as it descended. The air around it shimmered and distorted, the very fabric of reality bending to the will of the God of Destruction. The ground trembled in anticipation, a silent spectator to the unfolding drama.

In a flash, the purple sphere collided with the planet's surface, releasing a cataclysmic burst of power that obliterated everything in its path. The explosion grew, swelling into an ever-expanding cloud of dust and debris that consumed the world whole. The horizon was bathed in a grim light, the sky painted with the stark contrast of purple and black, a canvas of doom that seemed to stretch on forever.

The planet's final moments were a symphony of destruction. The once vibrant lands of Z-7 were reduced to nothingness in a display of Hakai's unbridled might. The very air itself seemed to shriek in agony as it was torn apart by the force of the blast. And yet, amidst the chaos, there was a strange sense of serenity, as if the universe itself was holding its breath in anticipation of what would come next.
