My Daily Life As A Hybrid Succubus

I woke early in the morning feeling a bit refreshed unlike how I was yesterday. I listened to my heart, and it was beating with a new rhythm. And with each beat a refreshing and intoxicating feeling spread throughout my body and suddenly I felt even more rejuvenated.

This meant the creation of my seed was a success. I jumped down the tree, and placed my bag on the ground before facing the tree trunk. I looked at my hand, and clenched it into a tight fist.

I took deep breath, a little hesitant of what I was about to do, I might know how to ignore pain for awhile, but it doesn't mean I don't feel it. But this little experiment will put me at ease. After exhaling, I got into a fighting stance then after a beat, I punched at the trunk, and I heard the sound of wood break, as my fist almost sank deep inside the trunk.

I took out my fist, and gasped in amazement, and with good reason. I mean before the seed, I could only manage a dent on a trunk from a tree as thick as this, and I would scrape my knuckle really badly. But now, my fist nearly burrowed through the trunk, and looking at it there wasn't a single scrape.

This meant it wasn't just my strength that would increase, but also my durability. But to show this kind of results at my level is unheard of, but I think it has something to do with my specific breed.

I picked up my bag pack, and strapped it on my shoulder, and started to wonder about my next destination out of this damn forest. I really wanted to slap myself for not asking Zahra about a way out, before I..

Shaking my head, I decided to walk along the stream, when I remembered last night I saw lights up ahead, not very far away from here. All I'll have to do is cross the river and end up on other side.

My bet is that there's either a village in that direction or at the very least a small town, either way I'll finally be able to use my money and afford myself a place to sleep and be served a warm meal, for a few days, before I resume my journey.

The only lies some problems, the first one concerning my evolution path, which I'll have to come to a decision whether I forsake evolving entirely and just focus on my human side or I steel my resolve and stop being a coward.

Which path I'll choose for myself is anyone's best guess, so I decide to put it at the back of my mind, until I've eaten something. Now the second problem lies with the eating part, I've used up all my sexual energy, creating the seed and now I've become hungry again, which is a problem.

The only solace about this problem is that it isn't as strong as it was before feeding off Zahra, meaning that the seed does more than I think, come to think about it, for the eighteen years I've known Mom, I have never once seen her feed off anyone.

Does this mean, as I grow stronger and evolve, I won't be led by my cravings? If so, then why hasn't Mom told me about this? Maybe I'm reading into things, after all Mom is a powerful succubus, she might have means to feed without me realising.

'This thoughts are getting me nowhere, I should go now.'

I came to the conclusion all my indecisions will become clear once I've relaxed and taken a hot bath. I took my first step, and headed towards the direction where I saw the light last night.

After an hour or so, I finally made it. I finally managed to leave the forest, and up ahead was a town. I saw three woman on horses dressed in leather armour heading towards the town's gate, guarded by two guards with spears.

Whether it was the three women or the guards I felt threatened and instinctively wanted to fight them. I wasn't surprised to be itching for a fight, as being a huntress, hunting strong prey is part of the fun.

But my human side is naturally cautious, and I won't let myself be led by my physiology no matter what. I took a deep breath, and calmed my excited beating heart, before following behind the women.

I reached the gates the moment they all climbed down their horses.

"Leora, how was your trip?"

"Tavian, It was great, we took an escorting job and we managed to kill an E-rank Inhibitor, and sold it at a Guild Outpost, we're now here to apply for a rank advancement."

"Humph, Tavian don't let her fool you, this idiot accepted an escorting job to some nobles bratty nephew and the child brought us nothing but trouble, we nearly lost our lives. If it were not for Aeris and Elira we would've already died."

"Sylvi surely you're exaggerating a little, it wasn't really that bad, tell her Aeris?

"Leora don't put Aeris on the spot like that, you know she can't speak in front of creeps like Tavian."

"Come on Sylvi, when did this conversation suddenly turn to me being a creep? Don't you know I have a wife and kid?

"That's exactly what a creep would say."

All heads turned my way, after what the shy one said. I had been standing here and non of them except the shy one had noticed me, it's kind of unnerving, but whatever.

The loud one yelped and took a few step back. The one who had been disagreeing with the loud one latched on to the shy one as if she just saw a ghost. The guard who had been talking to the women gave me a somewhat passable proper reaction by gripping the spear with narrowed eyes, ready to attack at any moments notice.

The other guard who I found the most threat to my life barely registered my presence. He just looked at me and yawned, then went back to blankly staring at the sky.

That disregard alone pissed me off more than I've ever been in my entire life. The disregard basically translated to, too weak to even care about her presence. It's fine, one day his gonna regret ever disregarding me like tha- wait a moment, why am I getting worked up by a nobody? Seriously I need to calm the down.

I calmed myself with a little exhale. I was about to start my well thought-out monologue, when a peculiar unique scent assaulted my nose, it came with a galloping sound from behind me.

My body froze, as I couldn't believe this, Mom told me it was a 1 in a million chance of it ever happening. And yet, here we are, it was happening, I had to do something about this new development.

I heard the horse getting closer, and based off the previous conversation between the three who spoke, I'm thinking this is the fourth party member. Since it has come to this, I guess I have no choice.

"Um, excuse me," I got their attention, "can you help me? I think..." I started to sway with a little drowsiness, "I think I.."

"Are you okay?"

"Is something wrong?"

The loud one and the shy one stepped up as they saw me struggle with finishing my sentences.

"I-I'm f-fine, jus.. just a-a litt..le.."

"I think you shouldn't speak anymore," the shy one told me, with a sturdy voice, as she checked my pulse. Hehe- good thing, the scent of the one galloping my way is truly messing with my system and is ironically bringing credibility to my fake out.

"Um, your heart rate is unusually fast, it's more than likely an attack or some sort of poisoning," the shy one informed me.

But for me the moment I noticed the scent come closer to me, I knew this was the moment I should do it. I hurriedly retreated away from the two, but "tripped" on myself and almost fell if it were not for the woman behind me.

I looked up, and gave myself a resigned sigh, before "fainting" in her arms. There was no doubt in my mind, the moment I looked into those eyes, even though she felt nothing, I felt something, so I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, she is my soulmate.
