My Pokemon Turned into Girls?!

Chapter 25: Chapter 25: Hei vs. Alakazam

Alakazam is one of the most iconic Pokémon of the Psychic type. It is said that its brain cells multiply infinitely, resulting in a superbrain with an IQ of 5000.

Fortunately, most of this immense brainpower is dedicated to controlling its ever-expanding psychic powers. If it weren't, humanity might never have become the dominant species on this continent.

Of course, none of this mattered to Kazuki at the moment.

What troubled him now was how to deal with the monster before him—a Pokémon with an already overwhelming Special Attack, further enhanced by two uses of Calm Mind.

Alakazam raised a single finger, and with a mere flick, its psychic power lifted Aron's deeply rooted iron claws from the ground.

Another subtle motion sent the silver Pokémon flying through the air, slamming her into the battlefield floor with a heavy crash.

But it didn't stop there.

Alakazam's fingers moved again, and Aron's small body was repeatedly slammed between the floor and ceiling like a ragdoll.

"Aron!" Kazuki couldn't stand to watch his Pokémon being mercilessly battered any longer. He quickly held up Aron's Poké Ball and aimed to recall her.

"Ar… Ar…"

Her cracked silver armor struggled to support her quivering frame as she stood up. Aron turned her head towards Kazuki with defiant eyes.

I won't… give up…

Her gaze seemed to carry words she couldn't speak aloud.

Am I supposed to run to you for protection every time I'm in trouble? No way! This is just Psychic—it's nothing I can't overcome!

With silent determination, Aron forced her iron legs forward, step by agonizing step. But as the psychic pressure intensified, it pressed her down to the ground, the crushing weight threatening to shatter her entirely.

Even so, Aron clung to the ground with her claws, dragging herself forward inch by inch. Alakazam watched her futile struggle with a detached expression and let out a quiet sigh.

If that's the case… let me show you how futile your resistance truly is.

Alakazam raised its arms high, the twin spoons in its hands glowing intensely. A horrifying, tangible psychic energy formed around it before vanishing into the void, leaving only an ominous aura behind.

Aron seemed to sense the impending danger. She paused mid-struggle, her eyes wide with disbelief, as though she had caught a glimpse of something utterly terrifying.

What she saw was Future Sight.

Future Sight is a Psychic-type move often considered ultimate—an attack aimed not at the present but at the near future. Once the move is unleashed, it guarantees an unavoidable strike against the target, no matter where they are or how they try to evade. The only chance of survival is for another Pokémon to take the hit instead.

From Aron's expression, Kazuki could guess what she had seen. Aron wasn't one to back down without reason, but her stunned reaction spoke volumes—her defeat had already been written into the future.

A beam of red light enveloped Aron, pulling her back into her Poké Ball. Kazuki pressed the ball against his forehead, his voice soft. "You've done your best, Aron. Leave the rest to us."

A heavy silence lingered within the ball, but it seemed Aron had accepted the inevitable.

Replacing Aron on the field was Hei, the Mightyena.

Her gray-black fur bristled as she growled fiercely at the psychic energy gathering above her.

Hei's anger was palpable.

Aron might always call her a "stupid dog" and have a temper, but she had always patiently taught Hei new techniques. Aron was family, just like their trainer, and family didn't let others get away with this kind of treatment.

Hei howled, defiantly standing her ground as the psychic orb of Future Sight finally descended, engulfing her in a blinding flash of light. However, when the light cleared, Hei remained unscathed—not even the slightest injury had been inflicted.

Sabrina tilted her head slightly, her expression showing the faintest glimmer of surprise. The little girl sitting on her lap gasped audibly, covering her mouth in shock.

Dark-types, unlike other Pokémon that merely resist Psychic-type moves, are completely immune to them. Even with all of Alakazam's overwhelming power, Future Sight was completely ineffective against Hei.

"Hei, get close as fast as you can!" Kazuki commanded urgently.

Most Psychic Pokémon would feel helpless against a Dark-type, unable to rely on their primary moves. But Kazuki knew Alakazam was no ordinary opponent—there existed a rare Psychic move that could break through this immunity, and Kazuki couldn't afford to take that risk.

Alakazam's eyes began to glow, a faint rainbow light swirling within their depths. Catching sight of this, Kazuki immediately shouted: "Hei, Sand Attack! Cover yourself completely!"

The move Alakazam was preparing was Miracle Eye. Though it caused no direct damage, Miracle Eye allowed Psychic-type moves to hit Dark-types, bypassing their immunity entirely. Because the move relied on sight, Hei's only chance to avoid it was to obscure herself from view.

Hei's claws dug furiously into the ground, kicking up a thick cloud of sand. The swirling haze shrouded her body, acting as a protective veil. Sure enough, Alakazam's glowing eyes dimmed as the Miracle Eye failed to activate.

Alakazam's green psychic aura flared once more, but this time it wasn't targeting Hei.

Instead, it focused on the ground below its feet.

With precision, Alakazam cut out a circular platform from the ground and raised it into the air using its psychic power, lifting itself high above the battlefield.

Kazuki's eyes narrowed in frustration. "It's trying to force us into exposing ourselves," he muttered.

The taller the platform rose, the harder it would be for Hei to jump up and reach Alakazam.

And even if they knew it was a trap, they had no choice but to take the risk.

"Hei, jump and use Crunch!"

This was their one chance. Buff had already expired, and Alakazam wouldn't have time to set up another one. If Hei could land this hit, they could turn things around. Even if Hei became marked with Miracle Eye, Kazuki could switch her out to reset the status before sending her back in.

Hei leapt into the air, her powerful legs propelling her above the sandcloud. Her sleek form shot toward Alakazam like an arrow, jaws gaping wide.

But Alakazam didn't flinch. Its eyes glimmered, and just before Hei's attack landed, it vanished in a flash of white light—Teleport.

Hei's jaws closed around empty air, her strike missing entirely. Kazuki's heart sank as he spotted Alakazam reappearing near the edge of the battlefield. The slight shimmer of rainbow light enveloping Hei confirmed his worst fear—Miracle Eye had succeeded.

---

Kazuki lost. The defeat was complete and undeniable.

Even now, he couldn't fully grasp what had happened during the battle. Every decision he had made felt right, yet he had been thoroughly outplayed.

The words of the strange man outside the gym echoed in his mind: "Sabrina isn't someone a trainer can defeat."

Kazuki clenched his fists.

He couldn't deny the truth of those words.

His defeat wasn't just a matter of losing—it was the suffocating frustration of being led around by the nose despite making all the "correct" moves.

But a loss was a loss—Kazuki had no choice but to admit his inferiority.

"Big brother lost! That means you have to stay and play with me, okay~!" The little girl joyfully clapped her hands, her face glowing with excitement.

Sabrina's gaze was locked onto Kazuki, her expression unreadable.

"Of course. A bet is a bet," Kazuki said with a wry smile. "But first, I need to take my Pokémon to the Pokémon Center. I'll come back to play with you after they're healed."

Kazuki wasn't making excuses—he fully intended to keep his promise. After all, playing with a little girl wasn't that big of a deal… Right?

Sabrina didn't respond. Instead, she raised her slender arm and pointed directly at Kazuki.

"?"

What was she doing? Was she telling him not to leave?

Sabrina lowered her arm, her eyes flickering with the same curiosity she had displayed earlier when Hei had nullified Future Sight.

"Still the same… doll?" she murmured cryptically.

With that, Sabrina rose from her seat, still clutching the little girl in her arms—and floated.

She casually levitated across the battlefield, stopping just inches from Kazuki.

Her flawless face was so close that Kazuki could catch a faint, intoxicating fragrance. His heart raced uncontrollably, his cheeks burning.

And then, Sabrina's crimson eyes began to glow.

"Huh?" Kazuki barely had time to blink before he felt the ground vanish beneath his feet.

He floated midair, half a meter above the floor, weightless.

"So heavy," Sabrina muttered, her glowing eyes dimming as she released her psychic grip.

Kazuki landed with an undignified thud, rubbing his sore backside.

"What's your name?" Sabrina asked, tilting her head slightly.

"Kazuki. Kazuki from Pallet Town," he replied hesitantly.

Sabrina descended gracefully, kneeling slightly to meet Kazuki's gaze directly. Her crimson eyes reflected his face as she spoke in a soft, commanding tone that offered no room for refusal:

"Kazuki… Keep your promise."
