Haneul undressed and settled into the bathtub. A feeling of warmth spread through him, but other than that, there was nothing unusual. He breathed a sigh of relief. He had half-expected this kind of medicinal bath to be excruciating, like something out of a cultivation novel, but it was no different from a regular hot bath.

Half an hour later, Haneul's eyebrows shot up. The progress bar for his C-Rank Trait 'Robust Physique' had increased by 1%. Not bad at all. He could increase his stats just by taking a comfortable bath.

Haneul changed his clothes and left the bathroom.

"Come here," Tsunade said, noticing him.

"Let me dry my hair first," Haneul said, picking up the hairdryer.

"I'll do it for you." Tsunade scooted back on the sofa, making room for him.

Haneul hesitated for a moment but didn't refuse, sitting down in front of her.

"How do you feel?" Tsunade asked, running her fingers through his hair while using the hairdryer.

"I feel refreshed, like I have boundless energy," Haneul replied honestly, inhaling the faint, pleasant scent coming from Tsunade.

"It seems to be working, then," Tsunade said with a nod. "After soaking for a while longer, you should be able to start learning Monstrous Strength."

"Thank you, Master," Haneul said gratefully.

"It's nothing," Tsunade said with a light chuckle. "I am your teacher, after all."

"Master, what about the money for the medicine?" Haneul remembered.

"Jiraiya is leaving tomorrow, so we can't borrow any more from him," Tsunade said, suddenly filled with motivation. "The only way is to go to the casino. From now on, we'll spend an extra two or three hours there every day."

"...?" Haneul felt like he had walked into a trap. Buying the medicine was just an excuse; her main goal was to gamble.

"But I have to train!" Haneul argued emphatically. "I can't play for that long!"

"One hour, then," Tsunade said reluctantly after a few seconds of painful consideration.

"Fine." Haneul thought for a moment. He could just consider it an extra hour of rest. Besides, sleeping in Tsunade's arms was quite comfortable.

"Your hair is dry. Time to go train and burn off all that new energy," Tsunade said, putting down the hairdryer. Seeing his fluffy hair, she couldn't resist ruffling it a few more times.

She's petting my head again! Haneul thought as he got up and ran outside.

"Disobedient little brat," Tsunade pouted, not having gotten her fill of head-patting.

Three months passed in a flash.

On the flat ground outside Tsunade's house, the continuous clang of metal on metal rang out. Haneul and Kakashi Hatake were locked in combat, the glint of their blades nearly obscuring their figures.

Asuma Sarutobi clenched his fists unconsciously. Although he had learned another Wind Release jutsu in these three months, his progress still felt too slow. Kurenai Yuhi, on the other hand, watched Haneul with a nervous expression, terrified he might get hurt.

The next second, a short sword flashed. Kakashi used a Body Flicker Technique to appear right in front of Haneul, his blade stabbing towards Haneul's heart like a dagger.

Haneul didn't move from his spot. With a flick of his wrist, his samurai sword swung upwards from below in a preemptive strike. Kakashi twisted his body to the left, evading the sword, while redirecting his own blade towards Haneul's neck. He had sparred with Haneul many times and was very familiar with his Konoha-Style Swordsmanship.

Just then, Haneul's sword vibrated slightly and pulled back. He used the pommel of his sword to strike Kakashi. Kakashi felt a sharp pain in his back and staggered forward, losing his balance. He gritted his teeth, put force into his arm, and accelerated his short sword.

Clang!

The short sword was blocked by the samurai sword.

"How are you so fast?!" Kakashi was shocked. Was this still Konoha-Style Swordsmanship? It was even faster than his own Hatake Sword Style.

A whooshing sound cut through the air. Haneul retracted his sword and struck again. Kakashi subconsciously raised his short sword to block, but he wasn't fast enough. The cold edge of the blade was already pressed against his neck.

"I lose again," Kakashi said, sheathing his sword with a hint of dejection.

"You've improved a lot. You're just a little bit behind me," Haneul said with a smile. There was a second half to that sentence he didn't say: I have a cheat system.

The reason he had challenged Kakashi to a spar today was that he had acquired a new Trait.

Activation Condition: Achieve proficiency in Konoha-Style Swordsmanship.

Effect: Increases the power of Konoha-Style Swordsmanship by 30%.

With a 30% boost to his swordsmanship, defeating a young Kakashi was more than manageable. And what Haneul had said was true. If the learning difficulty of Konoha-Style Swordsmanship was B-Rank, then the Hatake Sword Style was S-Rank. Kakashi's path to improvement would be much slower than Haneul's, but his future potential was much higher—assuming, of course, he didn't get that chakra-draining Sharingan implanted.

Haneul walked over and drank it in one go.

"Tomorrow, you're coming with me to Kushina's place," Tsunade said, suddenly remembering something. "She's treating us."

"Okay," Haneul replied before heading to the bathroom. Inside the tub, Tsunade had already filled it with the medicinal water. Haneul sighed in comfort. Three months of drinking medicine had been tough, but the results were excellent.

[C-Rank Talent Trait: Robust Physique]

Activation Condition: Body reaches an excellent Chunin level.

Effect: Stamina recovery speed is increased by 100% from its base rate.

For a ninja, stamina recovery was equivalent to chakra recovery. In short, it was an incredibly useful mana regeneration skill.

Besides the D-Rank 'Swordsmanship Genin' and C-Rank 'Robust Physique,' he had acquired one more D-Rank Trait.

Activation Condition: Possess three Wind Release Ninjutsu Traits.

A peaceful night passed. The next day, he and Tsunade headed to Kushina Uzumaki's house.

"Wait!" Tsunade suddenly stopped, her expression changing. "That's the Nine-Tails' chakra!"

"Such immense, malevolent power!" Haneul blurted out, instinctively looking up.

Blood-red chakra enveloped Kushina Uzumaki, and massive tails thrashed through the air, emanating a terrifying aura.

"I'm going to help," Tsunade said, leaping into action. "You stay right here. Don't move."
