Waves of heat rolled out. Another large fireball was spat out, hitting the nearby tree.

"I got him! I got him!" Tekka shouted excitedly.

"..." Shisui was speechless. He's still fighting the air.

Shisui walked forward, exchanged a brief glance with Haneul, and stopped in front of Tekka. He placed a hand on him, channeling his chakra to break the genjutsu. The image of Haneul before Tekka's eyes reverted to a tree. The joyful expression on Tekka's face instantly froze. "What's going on?!" he blurted out.

"Brother Tekka, you were caught in a genjutsu," Shisui said grimly.

"Impossible!" Tekka denied it outright. But he looked at the charred tree, then at Haneul in the distance, and a moment later, his shoulders slumped in defeat. "As an Uchiha... I lost to a genjutsu," he said, utterly dejected.

"It's not your fault, Brother Tekka," Shisui said, shaking his head comfortingly.

"..." Tekka didn't know what to say.

"Still want to fight?" Just then, Haneul's voice rang out. Tekka looked up instinctively, but he realized Haneul wasn't looking at him, but at Shisui. He felt a surge of anger, but it was quickly replaced by a sense of inevitability. The weak deserve to be humiliated. This had always been the Uchiha clan's philosophy; they only recognized the strong.

"Me?" Shisui was surprised.

"I've heard of you," Haneul said with a smile.

Shisui was somewhat flattered. He hesitated for a few seconds before saying, "Please, grant me a match." After seeing Tekka's miserable defeat, his plan had been to wait a while before challenging Haneul, hoping for better odds. But now that the challenge was before him, there was no reason to back down.

Haneul and Shisui walked to the center of the field and formed the Seal of Confrontation.

"Another fight?" Kakashi raised an eyebrow. Obito's eyes lit up with hope. Great! Shisui is here! The Uchiha are saved!

"Haneul will definitely win!" Kurenai said confidently.

"Not necessarily," Obito couldn't help but retort.

"Whose side are you on?" Kurenai asked, annoyed.

"I... I'm rooting for Rin," Obito said with a sheepish grin, looking at Rin. But he received no response, as the battle on the field had already begun.

Shisui flicked his right hand, and two kunai appeared before Haneul in an instant, silent and sudden. As expected of Shisui, Haneul thought. This level of kunai skill was the best he had seen among his peers.

Haneul's body swayed, narrowly dodging the kunai as he charged toward Shisui. His samurai sword drew an arc, aimed at his neck. The effect of his C-Rank 'Swift as the Wind' Trait was on full display.

So fast! Shisui was alarmed. He quickly drew the ninja sword from his back to block the attack. But... an immense force struck him, forcing him back. This is bad! Shisui realized. Haneul kicked out at him. Thrown off balance, Shisui rolled twice on the ground but immediately scrambled back to his feet, ignoring the pain.

Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!

Shisui created distance and formed hand seals. It was the same jutsu, but his fireball was a third larger than Tekka's.

Haneul casually sheathed his sword, crossed his arms, and threw out eight shuriken that blossomed like a flower. The massive fireball was instantly pierced, and the shuriken continued flying toward Shisui, their momentum unbroken.

"What?" Shisui was shocked. Haneul's shurikenjutsu was no worse than his own.

Shisui quickly tracked the shuriken and swung his ninja sword, deflecting all eight of them. But the force transmitted through the blade still made his right arm go numb. Why is he so strong?

He had no time to think. He heard a whistling sound and instinctively turned to see the shuriken he had just deflected leaping up from the ground. Ninja wire! For a moment, Shisui wondered if he was fighting another Uchiha.

Body Flicker Technique! His body suddenly accelerated. After creating some distance, he swung his sword in a reverse slash, cutting all the wires. Then, with a series of slashes, he batted all the shuriken back.

Fire Style: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson!

Shisui sheathed his sword and formed hand seals. Flames erupted from his mouth, chasing after the shuriken, forming a combination attack.

"So strong!" Obito couldn't help but exclaim. "This is the Uchiha clan!" Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson was a B-Rank fire jutsu. Neither he nor Tekka knew it. Being able to use a B-Rank jutsu was enough to qualify for the Chunin Exams. In other words, Haneul couldn't block it unless he was at the Chunin level himself.

Body Flicker Technique!

Haneul became a blur. With incredible speed, he dodged all eight flaming shuriken.

"How can a Body Flicker be that fast?" Obito was completely stunned. "Terrifying!" Kakashi clenched his fists unconsciously. "I can't even see him clearly," Rin and Kurenai widened their eyes, but all they could see was an afterimage.

Damn it! Shisui quickly drew his ninja sword. But the next second, he felt a sharp sting on his neck. A samurai sword was already there. If he moved, he would be decapitated.

"I lose," Shisui said, releasing his sword, his voice full of admiration. "Senior Haneul, you truly live up to your reputation. You are even stronger than I imagined."

"You're not bad either," Haneul said with a smile.

"I'm not," Shisui said, scratching his head. "Your Body Flicker Technique was a real eye-opener, Senior Haneul. I need to study it more."

Haneul was taken aback. In the original story, Shisui's moniker was "Shisui of the Body Flicker" precisely because he had taken the technique to a whole new level. Did this mean he had just been inspired by him?

Just then, two lines of text appeared before Haneul's eyes.

[E-Rank Talent Trait 'Charmander' effect upgraded.] [Fire Style talent increased by 30% from its base rate.]

It really upgraded? Haneul was surprised and overjoyed. Being able to switch his talent sources meant that farming them wouldn't be so difficult.

"Haneul has gotten stronger again," Kakashi said, having watched the entire fight.

"So amazing," Rin murmured, a look of admiration in her eyes. She hadn't forgotten that Haneul's primary specialty was medical ninjutsu. And he was a genius medical ninja, talented enough to be Tsunade's apprentice. Yet his ninjutsu, genjutsu, and kenjutsu were also top-tier. It was simply incredible.

Obito, watching Rin's expression, froze. Damn it! How did he lose again?! He's a disgrace to the Uchiha! He had forgotten that if he were to fight Haneul, he would have lost even faster.
