My Werewolf System

Chapter 1240: Kim's Anger (Part 2)

The Werewolf had busted right through the door, transforming after breaking the lock with its pure strength. It had entered far too fast for the hunter that was waiting by the door to do anything.

The female hunter was startled as she was closest to the door after the hunter by the side, but oddly out of everyone that was there, it had gone right past the hunter and reached out straight for Kim.

A claw swiped through the air viciously, and she had avoided the hit. The claws continued to swipe at Kim, but she avoided each one of them.

The hunter by the door wanted to help, but he could see that it wasn't the only guest that they had; two more were following. They ran into the room shortly after. All of them though, were ignoring the hunters and all of them were going after Kim.

She had jumped back seeing this, flipping herself in the air. When she landed she kicked the sofa which lifted off the ground and crashed into one of the Werewolves. Two of them had leapt above the large sofa.

Seeing them in the air, Kim was quick as she twisted her body and kicked one of the Werewolves straight to the face. Their body was flung and they ended up tumbling into the mini bar fridge, breaking the area.

"Deal with that one!" Kim said.

When kicking one of the Werewolves she was unable to block a strike that was coming from the third. It had swept its claws right into her forearm. It pushed her back, but tightening her stance she had stopped the Werewolf from pushing her further into the window.

"Damn, I have to help her!" the hunter said as he pulled out several daggers and started to throw them. They lodged into the Werewolf's back and started to electrify the back of the fur.

Right after, the hunter jumped up and landed on the Werewolf's back right by the neck. Using both of his hands, he pulled the Werewolf's head up slightly.

With a small dagger, Kim then shoved it deep into the Werewolf's throat, killing it on the spot.

"Help the other one!" Kim immediately said, as she rushed by the side and went for the Werewolf who she had originally kicked the sofa into. Before it got up, she kicked it in the face.

She took a quick peek and could see the other two hunters were distracted, and that's when she grabbed the Werewolf's arm before it had reached her. She then readied her fist.

And threw it, right at the elbow. The bone broke instantly and was visibly seen coming out from the fur.

"You guys are physically stronger than most of us, but you have fallen into my own trap." Kim then moved quickly behind the Werewolf, and with her hand, she grabbed the back of the Werewolf's neck and used as much strength as possible before cracking it, and finishing the Werewolf off.

Seeing how the other two were using their weapons and fighting against the last Werewolf, she could tell that they would be done with their fight soon. She quickly took one of the daggers from the back of the other Werewolf and then went and lodged it in the head of the one that had just fallen.

Just as she finished, the last Werewolf that had attacked them had fallen to the ground. Both of the hunters were huffing and puffing as they looked at the one that had fallen.

They then turned to look at Kim, seeing she had dealt with two of them, and dealt with one of them on her own. They didn't expect anything less from a high-ranked Alter hunter.

"Kim…your arm!" one of the hunters said.

When Kim lifted her arm, she could see that the flesh was badly torn. It was bleeding, but she was acting like it wasn't even there.

"It's okay, I will live, I'll just bandage this up when we head back to the supplies," Kim explained.

"They were harder than we thought. Trixie was right, they must have really set up at the hotels to ambush us, or at least watch what we were doing. We have to remember that this really is their entire city," the hunter claimed.

"Are we also going to be okay, having made so much noise, and leaving the place in this type of mess?"

"It should be okay," Kim said. "I told them that we might be a bit noisy, in case something like this happened. If they do make a report, I can always solve it, and talk to them. As for cleanup, we should just leave it to Ruin City.

"When they find out about the bodies, it will go to the police and I'm sure they have things set up—a system to help protect the people of Ruin in the first place."

"Right, but I'm confused, we just rented out a room and didn't do anything else. We didn't do anything to tip them off, so how were they able to tell where we were, or what we were doing?" the woman asked.

There was a clear reason for this. Kim, when moving around, knew that her smell would attract the Werewolves. They had a keen smell, especially for Vampires, and those that were related to the vampires.

So she knew walking around would attract the Werewolves. Knowing that one of them was in the city, they would come after her without fail. Since the moment she came in, even if they didn't know what room she was in, they would have been able to smell her.

"As to your question before, the fact that they knew we were here, and what room we were in, it can only mean one thing—someone in our group has betrayed us," Kim suggested.
