Naruto: Chakra System

Tazuna's eyes lit up; though Kakashi wanted to make his own conditions, at least they would continue the mission.

"W-what adjustments you want, Ninja-sama?" he asked.

Kakashi said, "First adjustment is your attitude, and second, if you really want the mission to continue, then the Mission Rank and Mission Payment will be adjusted."

Tazuna, for a moment, didn't know what to say; he couldn't refuse, because of the obvious reason of mission termination, which he didn't want.

Sakura asked, "But, didn't you say that maybe even their Daimyō didn't help them intentionally? Then wouldn't it be difficult for them to pay up?"

Naruto also chimed in and said, "Kakashi-sensei, I understand that Tazuna lied, but his situation really sounds bad, couldn't we give him some relief!"

Sasuke, however, didn't much care about Tazuna; his hatred was very deep. Once he started hating someone, he wouldn't easily get over it, even in the anime, if Obito didn't tell him the whole truth after Itachi's death, he might have hated Itachi his whole life.

Kakashi sighed at Sakura and Naruto's plea and said, "Alright, since this mission might have A-rank difficulty, but let's just say this mission's difficulty is proper B-rank, and the highest B-rank mission pay is 300,000 Ryo's, so you have to pay that up."

Kakashi thought internally, 'Considering Zabuza, who is an Elite Jōnin and is involved in this, it's really an A-rank mission, but heck, I was only irritated at Tazuna's attitude which just reminded me of my shitty Boss; money, I will get from Gato anyways.'

Hearing this, Tazuna smiled desperately; he couldn't say anything against it now.

He bowed and said, "Alright, Ninja-sama, I-I'll pay up and agree with your adjusted conditions, we'll arrange pay for it as a B-rank mission, I am thankful you aren't abandoning this mission."

Sakura and Naruto smiled happily a little, while Sasuke smiled in amusement at Tazuna's desperate attitude.

Kakashi then said, "Alright, since you agreed, we'll continue this mission. Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura, since this mission is going to be difficult, stay alert all the time, understand!"

Sakura, a little unsure, asked, "Kakashi-sensei, are you sure we should continue this mission?"

Kakashi reassured her, smiled under his mask, while his demeanor changed instantly, from angry to calm. "Don't worry, if any of you face real trouble, I will protect you."

Naruto jumped in the air and said excitedly, "ALRIGHT, LET'S GO!"

With that, the group got ready to set off once again towards the Land of Waves, but this time, all were alerted. Naruto and Sakura adjusted their gears, took out kunai, and scanned the area around as they were moving.

Sasuke activated his Sharingan, Two-Tomoe spinning in his crimson eyes, as he moved, with complete focus, scanning any irregular movement in the surroundings.

Tazuna, picking up his backpack, adjusting his attire, but didn't take out any bottle of sake; he was now wisely keeping his mouth shut, and followed them behind.

Though the Genin were alert, they weren't tensed, even a little, since Kakashi was here, they were subconsciously dependent on him, that's why, despite sudden changes, they were at ease of mind.

While walking, Sakura asked, though still alert and scanning around, "Kakashi-sensei, aren't there any ninjas in the Land of Waves like you told before?"

Kakashi, who was walking, behind them, on the right-hand side of Tazuna, replied, "Nope, they don't, as I already told you the structure of culture and customs of other nations and Hidden Villages; and Land of Waves is one of those nations, who didn't have Ninja system."

Kakashi had already explained them about the Ninja system in other nations and the whole ninja world, during their training at beginning.

Though he didn't explain which nation had ninjas, or which were just a civilian nation. Samurais are mostly in the Land of Iron, so that wasn't much of a need to explain.

He had also explained them the Daimyō System, of why if the Kage is stronger in the village and Feudal Lords are weaker, then why there's a need for them.

The Feudal structure of Daimyō provides a stable civilian government, which is essential for a nation to function, even if their priorities sometimes clash with those of the Shinobi.

That's why they didn't even question why Kakashi had just called the Daimyō of Land of Waves and many others as leeches, because many are like that.

Though not everyone, from Kakashi's memories, Fire Daimyō, and Lightning Daimyō sometimes showed a genuine interest in the well-being of their respective hidden Villages, otherwise, why would they even give many billions of Budget to the Village every year.

Sakura nodded, upon hearing that the Land of Waves was from those category nations, who had no ninja system.

As they walked, Sasuke immediately stopped; seeing him, Sakura and Naruto also abruptly stopped. Kakashi already noticed a puddle in the middle of the road ahead.

Naruto asked, "Hey, why did you stop, did you notice something?"

Sasuke nodded, he had sensed two chakra signatures at few metres ahead puddle and looked back at Kakashi.

Kakashi simply said, "Keep moving."

They nodded, trusting Kakashi's judgment. Tazuna stiffened a little, but also walked with them, like they noticed nothing.

Just as they got close to the puddle, Kakashi immediately used Genjutsu, "Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique!"
