Naruto: Chakra System

"No, we can't resume this mission."

Kakashi clearly refused. He also wanted to do this mission and he knew they would continue, however this old man Tazuna had irritated him a lot; he didn't want to agree to it simply.

He hadn't gotten irritated from the time he had been transmigrated here; the last time he recalled that he got this irritated at someone in his past life was when he completed a presentation after weeks of overtime and his boss, taking a single look, said 'Make it again.'

Tazuna was stunned at Kakashi's blunt refusal, even Naruto and Sasuke were also. However, Sasuke was only disappointed that he might not get to fight real ninjas. He, too, like Kakashi, was irritated at Tazuna's attitude, and didn't care anything what this old bridge builder had to say.

After listening to Kakashi's refusal, Naruto turned to him. "Kakashi-sensei, we should help him, they are in problem, why are you refusing?"

Kakashi glanced at Naruto and asked, "Naruto, didn't you want to become Hokage? Now I even feel like you aren't fit for that position, you can't become Hokage."

Naruto blinked in confusion. "HUH! What does my dream of becoming Hokage have anything to do with it?" he asked.

Kakashi said, "You wanted to become Hokage only to gain recognition from others; if this alone is your motivation, then you aren't cut out to be a ninja."

"Hokage's position isn't only about gaining other's approval, and didn't I already told you to stop chasing others; and being Hokage also comes with responsibilities, one of them is to make sure to protect the citizens and ninjas of the village."

Naruto crossed his arms and said, "When I become Hokage, I'm obviously going to do my best to protect everyone in the village, but what does that have to do anything with this old man Tazuna?"

Kakashi narrowed his eyes and naiveness of Naruto. "That's why I said, you aren't cut out to be Hokage, you didn't even understand such a small thing. Tazuna requested this mission to Sandaime, not us, and Sandaime assigned this mission to us."

"Now, suppose we didn't know he lied to us about the mission rank, and continue this mission and we die, whose fault is it going to be? Tell me..."

Naruto, even Sakura and Sasuke all answered the same, pointing at Tazuna, "This old bridge builder, Tazuna."

Kakashi chuckled and shook his head. "Wrong, it will be considered the fault of Sandaime, who didn't even understand that Tazuna was lying, hiding crucial details and assigned mission to us."

"Even though, it's Tazuna who should be at fault, but inside Konoha, the whole blame will go on Hokage, and if just like Tazuna, everyone started to do this, to save money, what would happen then, endless deaths of our village's ninjas."

Naruto stiffened, his expression frozen. His mind on Hokage's position was nothing more than that, it is the position where everyone will respect him; he didn't know anything about all the responsibilities that came with it.

Tazuna also gulped, sweating continuously in fear. The more he heard Kakashi, the more he understood that he had really done something wrong; he really didn't think that his lie, and hiding full details, could have this major effect, he felt that he was indeed very selfish in all this.

Sakura said, "Kakashi-sensei, then I think we really shouldn't do this mission, and report this back to Hokage-sama, he will decide what to do about this."

Tazuna froze, he still didn't want them to cancel mission nkw, he said, his voice wavering, "You really want to cancel this mission, if you did, then I might die if your Hokage didn't do anything good, but I don't care about my death, it's just that my daughter and my—"

SLAP!

Another hard slap hit on his right cheek again, this time it was hard enough to leave a red mark, a few teeth of Tazuna broken out.

Kakashi's gaze sharpened and he said, "Shut up! And don't give me this crap, whining about all this, I will really kill you if you try this emotional bait of guilt-tripping."

Tazuna, clenching his right side of his face, froze, his face turned pale. He was really trying to leverage empathy after seeing that Kakashi was refusing this mission and they would even report it back to the Village. He knew that this alone might have a heavy punishment for him, and obviously didn't want that, at least not now, when Land of Waves needed him.

Sasuke asked, "Then what are we going to do, move back to Village and completely cancelling the mission?"

Kakashi said, "Well, firstly, Tazuna actually also lied about one more thing; you, you say that your Daimyō is poor? Right."

Tazuna didn't immediately speak, just nodded.

Kakashi then said, "Konoha's yearly budget from our Daimyō is usually in many billions of Ryo's, while the Land of Waves is a small nation, your Daimyō also should have at least Multi Millions of Ryo's."

"Plus, even an S-rank mission at most costs up to 10 Million or more, that too when the situation is very dire, this mission is B-rank or at least can increase to an A-rank, and you are telling me that your Daimyō didn't even have extra funds for an A-rank mission, which at most costs 1-2 Million?"

Tazuna immediately replied in his defence, "I-I didn't lie about it, we really went to the Daimyō for help and he refused saying he really didn't have funds."

Kakashi gazed at Tazuna, scrutinizing, and found that Tazuna indeed wasn't lying about it and thought a bit, then make a speculation.

"Your Daimyō has lied to you, and maybe he has made some kind of deal with Gato, otherwise if Gato indeed was exerting control to the nation, your Daimyō would be the one to ask for protection long ago, all these Damiyō's are like leeches, they can't easily let such a thing happen."

Tazuna stiffened, what Kakashi had explained about the budget and richness of the Daimyō, it indeed sounded suspicious to him, he thought that the Daimyō might have lied.

Sasuke then again asked, with a frustrated tone this time, "Kakashi-sensei, are you doing this mission or not?"

Tazuna looked at Kakashi expectedly, while Kakashi nodded and said, "Alright, Tazuna, if you want this mission to continue, then we need to make some adjustments."

Few of you have shown me proof that Kakashi can't turn back his Mangekyō Sharingan to Three-Tomoe, and I have said that I search it in Google and for me answer comes "NO", but it's looks like some of you didn't believe.

Some might think I just lied, or make up a thing when proven wrong, like one reader name "CCAAPP" said that I at this point is just rage baiting to get comments.

However that's not the case, if you don't want to comment anything what I write aside from main Chapter of story, then don't do, but I also show you a proff here that I didn't lied.

This was the screenshot, I just taken, after searching again, and it still shows "NO" as an answer, plus I also try to find that comment on Reddit who explained that Kakashi's Sharingan was de-evole after his also turned Mangekyō, but I didn't find it now, otherwise I also put that screenshot here as well.
