Sarutobi Asuma immediately calmed down. This was a serious crime—assaulting a member of the police force in public. He needed to flee. He got up and didn't even bother to take his weapons.

How could Ryosuke let him go? Since the other party wanted his life, one sentence from him would stop Asuma in his tracks.

Ryosuke, seeing the shop owner and his daughter safe, felt relieved.

If they had been harmed, he wouldn't have been able to enjoy such good ramen anymore. He coldly glanced at Asuma, not expecting him to use such a destructive jutsu in a crowded place.

Though Ryosuke's body was strong, he couldn't fully withstand such a large-scale explosion. Even he would get hurt.

Idaka, hearing these pleas and complaints, glared at them.

"Who said we wouldn't arrest him?"

Since Ryosuke had spoken, and the villagers shares the same attitude, Asuma had to be arrested.

Even as the Hokage's son, he had committed a major crime. Maintaining order in the village was the Uchiha Police Force's duty.

Under Idaka's orders, several police force members tied up the immobilized Asuma with ropes.

Idaka exchanged a quick word with Ryosuke before heading to the police headquarters. Given Asuma's crimes, the judgment would fall to the police captain, Uchiha Fugaku.

Just then, a voice shouted from afar, "Stop!"

Several Uchiha police officers halted and looked toward the source of the voice.

The newcomer wore a Konoha combat uniform and an Anbu mask over his white hair.

It was Kakashi, from the Third Hokage's Anbu unit. Hearing the explosion, he had ordered others to keep watching Naruto while he came to investigate.

Unexpectedly, the perpetrator was Asuma, the Hokage's son and his childhood friend.

Arresting Asuma would be a disgrace.

Approaching Ryosuke, Kakashi softly said, "Ryosuke, could this matter be handed over to the Anbu?"

Ryosuke glanced at Kakashi, his tone icy.

"Hand it over to the Anbu? What punishment could they give him? He not only destroyed the street but also tried to kill me. Do you think I'll let him go?"
