Chapter 100: Chapter 22:Naruko the Bomber!

Naruko immediately created a swarm of shadow clones, each dashing forward toward Daichi and the massive three-headed Cerberus. The cavern echoed with the sounds of rushing feet as the clones charged, aiming to test their opponent's strength. Meanwhile, Yuto and Hitomi began forming hand signs in perfect sync.

Hitomi's chakra flared as she unleashed a lightning style: lightning ball jutsu. A massive ball of crackling lightning formed in front of her, its bright blue arcs illuminating the cavern walls. At the same time, Yuto completed his own jutsu.

"Radiation Style: Radiation Wave!" Yuto called out as a pulsating purple wave of energy burst forth.

The moment the two jutsu met, the radiation absorbed the lightning, creating a terrifying fusion. Now covered in violent electric arcs, the purple wave surged toward Daichi like a raging tide of destruction.

Daichi, who had just cut down a hundred Naruko clones with only two swings of his katana, paused for a moment. He let out a small whistle, his expression unreadable.

Hearing the signal, the Cerberus suddenly leaped forward, its massive form landing with a loud boom that sent cracks spreading through the icy cavern floor. All three of its heads opened their maws, releasing a torrent of fire. The flames roared toward the incoming attack, colliding with the electrified radiation wave. The two forces clashed in a dazzling explosion of light and energy before canceling each other out.

Naruko clicked her tongue. "Damn, that old guy is seriously tough!" she muttered, eyes narrowing as she assessed their situation.

Hitomi adjusted her stance, Sharingan spinning as she analyzed their enemies. "We just have to hold out for ten minutes. If we can survive, we pass this test."

Yuto was about to respond, but his senses screamed a warning.

"Move!" he shouted.

The massive Cerberus suddenly lunged at them with frightening speed, Daichi standing effortlessly on its back. Yuto didn't hesitate. He quickly formed hand signs and slammed his palms onto the ground.

A massive cloud of smoke erupted, filling the cavern in an instant. The sudden appearance of a new presence made Cerberus halt its charge, its three heads growling lowly.

Daichi's ever-hidden eyes gleamed slightly. "So... you really tamed the dragon, huh?" he mused, watching as the smoke cleared.

A deep, resonant growl filled the cavern as Sora, Yuto's newly contracted summon, emerged. The eastern dragon's long, sinuous body coiled through the air, shimmering white scales reflecting the cavern's dim light. It was easily as large, or if not bigger than, Cerberus, its icy breath steaming in the cold air.

Yuto stood atop Sora's back, his expression calm but determined. Hitomi and Naruko swiftly joined him, finding stable footing on the dragon's back.

Sora let out a mighty roar, sending a chilling wave of ice toward Cerberus. The three-headed beast responded instantly, its middle head spewing a concentrated blast of fire. The two elements met in a chaotic explosion of steam, obscuring the battlefield for a moment.

Daichi, still standing on Cerberus, made his move. His blade shimmered with chakra as he swung it downward, sending a devastating slash toward Sora.

But before it could land, ten of Naruko's clones leaped off Sora's back.

"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!" they shouted in unison, sending a powerful gust that altered the trajectory of Daichi's chakra slash, making it miss its mark.

Yuto quickly drew both of his weapons—the brilliant golden glow of the solar lightsaber igniting beside the cold steel of his katana. He glanced at Naruko.

"You and Sora handle Cerberus," he instructed. "Hitomi and I will take care of the old man."

Naruko grinned, slamming her fists together. "You got it!"

She immediately summoned another hundred clones, all of them leaping off Sora and rushing toward Cerberus. The battlefield turned into chaos as the three-headed beast unleashed torrents of fire, while Sora countered with freezing blasts of ice. Naruko's clones darted in and out, attacking relentlessly to distract Cerberus.

Meanwhile, Daichi gracefully leaped off Cerberus' back just as a fireball streaked past where he had been standing moments before.

With a flick of his wrist, he deflected ten kunai sent his way, slicing through the ninja wires attached to them as well. His calm, unreadable expression remained unchanged as he now faced Yuto and Hitomi directly.

His hidden eyes finally opened slightly, glancing at the two Genin standing before him. Yuto stood ready, wielding his solar lightsaber and katana. Beside him, Hitomi held a giant demon shuriken in her hands, her Sharingan glowing ominously.

Daichi smirked. "Not bad… but let's see if you can keep up."

Yuto's eyes narrowed as he focused his energy into his solar lightsaber. With a swift motion, he unleashed a radiant solar wave toward Daichi. The old samurai responded instantly, channeling chakra into his katana and releasing a powerful chakra wave that collided with Yuto's attack, neutralizing it.

Before Daichi could regain his stance, a massive demon shuriken, hurled by Hitomi from behind, whizzed toward him. Sensing the impending threat, Daichi leaped gracefully into the air, the spinning blade passing just beneath his feet.

As he landed, Daichi found himself face-to-face with Yuto, who charged forward, wielding both his solar lightsaber and katana. Their blades clashed, sparks flying from the intense confrontation. Yuto's eyes widened in disbelief as he realized his solar lightsaber couldn't cut through Daichi's katana.

"Surprised?" Daichi remarked, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Your forms are rigid, lacking the finesse essential in kenjutsu. You have much to learn."

With a sudden surge of chakra, Daichi pushed Yuto back, sending him skidding across the cavern floor. 'So, chakra flow can be utilized in such a manner,' Yuto thought, astonished by the display.

Determined, Yuto steadied himself and, in an unexpected move, hurled his katana directly at Daichi. The samurai's eyes widened slightly, taken aback by the unorthodox tactic. In that split second, Yuto activated his chakra anchor ability, marking the katana, and then used his chakra switch technique to swap places with it.

Materializing in front of Daichi, Yuto swung his solar lightsaber, releasing a blazing solar energy slash. Daichi barely managed to evade, the searing heat grazing past him.

Without hesitation, Yuto extended his hand toward Daichi, channeling solar energy that burst forth in a radiant beam. Simultaneously, Hitomi unleashed her Fire Style: Fire Breath Jutsu, sending a torrent of flames toward their adversary.

As the combined solar and fire attacks converged on him, Daichi chuckled softly. "Today's generation certainly boasts some formidable youngsters," he mused. Memories of his childhood flashed before him—days spent with his idols during his stay in konoha as a child. Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha were really not what he had expected. One was childish despite being hailed as a god, while the other who was hailed as Ashura, was a tsundere and a huge emo. 'Will these youths rise to become similar to them?' he wondered.

Refocusing on the present, Daichi infused his katana with a formidable amount of chakra. With a swift spin, he unleashed a massive chakra wave that obliterated both incoming attacks.

Yuto's eyes widened in shock as the chakra wave surged toward them. Reacting quickly, he summoned two rune circles, one projecting toward Hitomi and the other shielding himself. The rune circles absorbed the kinetic energy of the attack, causing the chakra wave to dissipate harmlessly.

Hitomi stared in awe at the protective rune circle before her. "How does Yuto's eye keep manifesting new abilities?" she muttered, a hint of envy creeping into her voice. She couldn't help but feel that her Sharingan was becoming less remarkable in comparison.

Observing the duo regrouping, Daichi chuckled. His amusement was interrupted by a series of explosions behind Yuto and Hitomi. Naruko had unleashed her Exploding Clone Jutsu, bombarding Cerberus relentlessly. The three-headed beast was being overwhelmed by the combined efforts of Sora and Naruko, who grinned mischievously.

"Fire in the hole!" Naruko shouted gleefully as fifty exploding clones charged at Cerberus, detonating upon impact.

Daichi and the rest of Team 7 momentarily paused to witness the chaotic scene. Turning back to Yuto and Hitomi, Daichi raised an eyebrow. The two teammates exchanged sheepish looks, silently disassociating themselves from Naruko's exuberant antics.
