Chapter 59: Chapter 14: Radiation Release!

Yuto formed a single shadow clone, which vanished immediately after it appeared, transferring its half-chakra reserves back to him. At the same moment, one of the meditating clones back at Tazuna's house opened its eyes, sensing the memories. He also sensed two people approaching the house earlier. He looked outside the house. Another clone had already eliminated two of Gato's thugs who had came to kidnap tsunami, using precise poison rays shot from its fingertips to their brain.

When this clone dispelled, its memories and chakra flowed into Yuto, who tensed slightly, the emotional weight of taking lives pressing on him. Despite the thugs' wicked deeds, the act of killing—even through a clone—gnawed at his conscience. 'This is what it means to be a ninja.' He reminded himself, though the justification felt hollow.

Yuto's face hardened as he steadied his breathing. "I'll process this later," he murmured to himself.

Yuto formed a single hand sign, his body disintegrating into a swarm of crows that flew chaotically between the mirrors. Haku's eyes widened as she followed the flock's rapid escape through the gaps in her ice dome. Her instincts screamed danger, and she immediately leaped backward, distancing herself from the mirrors.

The air around her grew hotter, and her gaze shot upward just in time to see a massive solar ball descending. It detonated above the dome of mirrors, unleashing an explosion of blinding solar energy. The ice structure shattered into glittering fragments, scattering across the battlefield.

Haku landed with a controlled roll, her breath slightly ragged as she analyzed the destruction. 'That jutsu...he can super charge it? This boy… he's not ordinary.'

Yuto reappeared among the settling debris, his Kamigan glowing fiercely as he locked eyes with her. He was sweating at using so much chakra and solar energy but didn't show it on his face. "You won't win by hiding behind mirrors," he said, his tone cold but steady. "Show me what you're really capable of."

Haku gazed at Yuto as his words echoed in her mind, urging her to go all out. Memories flooded her—her kind father's horrific betrayal when he discovered her ice release, the loss of her mother, and the desperation that nearly consumed her until Zabuza's intervention. Zabuza had given her purpose, introducing her to the resistance against Yagura and the bloody mist.

Removing her mask, Haku's glare held resolve. She vowed never to kill unnecessarily but to protect her loved ones with unwavering strength.

Haku's chakra surged, rippling through the air as the water around the bridge responded to her will. The liquid spiraled upward, taking the shape of a majestic dragon. However, as it solidified, the ice shimmered with an ominous, jet-black hue—a stark contrast to the usual crystalline transparency of her previous attacks.

Yuto's Kamigan flared, analyzing the attack. 'Black ice? This is new. Her chakra's spiking… she's pushing herself.'

The dragon coiled protectively around Haku, its sharp, frozen fangs glinting menacingly as it locked onto Yuto, ready to strike.

Yuto's eyes narrowed as he felt the overwhelming cold emanating from Haku's black ice dragon. Recognizing that his usual techniques wouldn't suffice against this unique, chakra-infused attack, he decided to unleash his full power.

Gathering every last drop of solar energy within his reserves, Yuto concentrated it into his palms. But this time, he infused the energy with the greenish black poison energy, creating an unstable yet powerful blend.

The energy erupted around him, coiling and growing until it took the shape of a glowing purple dragon similar to haku's black ice dragon. The dragon roared silently, its glowing form matching the size and intensity of Haku's black ice creation.

"Radiation style:Radiation Dragon Jutsu." Yuto muttered, his gaze steady. 'This attack will decide everything.'

Yuto raised his hand, directing his energy construct toward Haku's ice dragon with Haku doing the same, the tension between them reaching a breaking point.

Naruko and Hitomi stood frozen, their jaws nearly hitting the ground as they watched Yuto unleash his purple radiation dragon. The sheer magnitude of his power left them speechless, their earlier thoughts of competition now eclipsed by awe.

'How... how can he be this strong?' Naruko thought, her hands trembling slightly. 'I have been competing with him since childhood, and yet... he's leagues ahead of me!'

Hitomi's fists clenched as her heart raced. 'He's incredible… But how do i even compare to someone like him? How much do I have to grow before I can kill Itachi!'

Kakashi and Zabuza, meanwhile, momentarily paused their own battle as their own water dragon jutsu cancelled each other out. Their eyes widened as they took in the extraordinary scene of Yuto and Haku summoning massive constructs that radiated chakra nearing mid-Jonin level.

Kakashi muttered under his breath, "This kid... he's something else. To think he'd already have this much control and power."

Zabuza's lips curled into a smirk, though his eyes showed caution. "Heh, looks like that brat of yours is no pushover. But Haku won't back down either."

The two dragons collided with each other, forming a giant blackish Purple ball of chakra which glowed brightly before detonating. The blast from the collision of the two dragons sent a massive shockwave across the bridge, flinging both Yuto and Haku backward. Yuto winced, pulling out the shards of ice lodged in his arms. Blood trickled from the wounds, the stinging pain a reminder of how close he had come to serious injury. As he pulled the ice out, his eyes shifted to Haku, who was also struggling with the aftermath of their attack.

Her arms were marked with burns, evidence of the corrosive radiation style he'd used against her. The burns were deep, and she flinched with every movement, clearly in agony. If not for Yuto's lack of mastery over his radiation technique, she would likely have lost her hands to the radiation. He was still far from being able to control the fusion of the solar and poison energies—his powers had grown, but they still lacked precision.

Haku, despite the damage done to her body, still stood tall. Her icy demeanor had not faltered, and she stepped forward carefully, each movement cautious as she fought the pain. 'I won't back down. I can't afford to. He's strong, but I'm not going to stop just because I'm hurt. I've survived worse. I have to fight, for Zabuza-sama!'

Yuto's gaze softened as he saw her injuries, knowing she had no choice but to keep going. 'She's stronger than I thought, but... I don't want to hurt her more.' His eyes narrowed as he clenched his fists. 'I want to change her fate of dying.'

Gato's laughter suddenly echoed cruelly, reverberating off the cold steel of the bridge. His smug face twisted as he approached, with his army of 200 mercenaries crowding behind him. Zabuza's eyes narrowed in suspicion, and his hand instinctively tightened around his sword. Yuto's gaze turned hard as he felt the air grow tense with malice.

"You did well, Zabuza, weakening the Konoha ninjas for me," Gato sneered, his voice dripping with malice. "Now, it's time to collect what I'm owed."

Zabuza, looking both furious and confused, growled, "What are you talking about, Gato?"

Gato's grin widened. "Oh, you didn't know? I was never going to pay you. I hired you to get close, weaken them and yourself in the process. And now, thanks to you, I can take your bounty... and your sword," Gato said, his voice dripping with venom. "Those will fetch a pretty penny. After all, the bounty on your head alone is worth more than I was willing to pay."

Zabuza's eyes shot wide open, realizing just how much he'd been played. His fist clenched around the hilt of his sword. But his rage turned cold as Gato continued, dismissing him.

"And you," Gato turned his gaze to Yuto and Kakashi, sneering. "You Konoha dogs are as good as dead. No more interruptions." He waved his hand dismissively.

Gato then turned his attention to the girls, his eyes gleaming darkly with lust. "These three girls, though... they're going to be worth much more than you ever imagined." His grin widened, sickeningly predatory. "That ice girl will be a prime prize for the Hidden Cloud, and the Uchiha girl will be sold to them too. As for the blonde—" he leered at Naruko, "—she'll be kept for my personal use."

Hitomi's fists clenched at her sides, her teeth gritted. Her eyes burned with rage. "You—" she began, but her voice cracked as her anger swelled. Her sharingan eyes were radiating killing intent for the first time.

Naruko, too, felt the surge of heat in her chest, her fists trembling. 'No one's going to touch me or my friends,' she thought, her eyes turning red as she glared at Gato. 'Not while I'm breathing.'

Kakashi's expression turned cold, his gaze hardening on the man who had dared to threaten his team.

Yuto stood silently, watching the crow he sent to Tazuna's house disappear into the distance. His mind was already working through the next steps as the system's voice echoed in his mind. He had received the confirmation on the mission, that the only requirement was to kill all the mercenaries. The system said that if some mercenaries were killed by team 7 or zabuza and haku, it will still count as Yuto killing them. And he knew that the best course of action now was to ally with Zabuza and Haku, if only temporarily.

He turned toward the others and asked Kakashi if a temporary alliance with Zabuza and Haku would be wise. Kakashi, after a moment of thought, agreed. He glanced at Zabuza, who, after a tense silence, nodded in agreement.

"Temporary alliance," Zabuza muttered, his voice low but firm.

Haku, who had been quietly observing the exchange, raised an eyebrow. She was surprised by the sudden shift in their dynamics but remained silent. The tension in the air was palpable, especially as Yuto's team was clearly processing what was happening.

Yuto's voice broke the silence as he turned to his team. "I know this might not be easy, but we need to act. We can't afford to hesitate now. We're ninjas, and whether we like it or not, there will be times we have to kill. If we do it today, it will help us learn to control our emotions for the future and keep our comrades safe."

He paused, his gaze flicking to Naruko and Hitomi, who were still visibly shaken by the thought of taking someone's life. "I know it's hard, but we have to do this for our future. If you hesitate now, you might make a mistake later on—one that could cost someone's life."

His eyes then shifted to Haku, who looked conflicted. "I know you said you don't like to kill, Haku. But not everyone deserves mercy. These mercenaries have done enough harm for Gato. They're no better than the trash they serve. This is our chance to stop them. Give 10 times the kindness the people you love give to you, but give the pain that people will inflict on you or someone else a 100 times "

Haku hesitated, her eyes dropping to the ground as she struggled with the decision. She had sworn to herself that she would protect the innocent and never take a life unless it was absolutely necessary. But she also knew the truth of what Gato's mercenaries had done. They had brought nothing but suffering. After hearing yuto's last words, she steeled her heart.

"I understand," Haku said quietly, her voice tight. "I will do what's necessary."

Team 7 stood with zabuza and haku as gato ordered his mercenaries to kill these people and get the girls for him. Yuto felt his chakra spike as the crow he sent had dispelled the two remaining clones. Now the final battle of this mission was gonna start soon.
