"Elder Saki, go and notify the Raikage Guard Squad immediately. Have the Chakra Cannon prepared and on standby for firing. Await my orders," the Fourth Raikage commanded decisively.

The Chakra Cannon of Kumogakure was a strategic weapon that the village had kept hidden for generations, its history dating back even before the founding of the Hidden Cloud Village. Its origins were shrouded in mystery, but its destructive power was beyond question.

The entire Chakra Cannon consisted of three barrels.

The two lower barrels were Diffusion Chakra Cannons, capable of releasing accumulated chakra in an instant. Their power was so overwhelming that a single shot could obliterate the entire asteroid belt surrounding the Earth.

The upper barrel, however, was a Space-Time Chakra Cannon. When fueled with sufficient chakra, it could transport the entire moon into an unknown dimension with a single blast!

This weapon was far beyond the realm of conventional ninja tools. To Kai Mitarashi, it was nothing short of black technology in the world of Naruto—a relic of unimaginable power. It was also the one thing in the shinobi world that gave Kai some pause.

"Understood, Raikage-sama." Hearing the order, Yagetsu Saki couldn't hide his excitement. Even during the First Great Ninja War, and later in the Second and Third, Kumogakure had never deployed the Chakra Cannon.

(Considering that Ōnoki was unaware of the Chakra Cannon's existence, it could be inferred that Kumogakure had refrained from using it during those wars, though the reasons remain unclear.)

"Kai Mitarashi! Let's see how arrogant you can be in the face of the Space-Time Chakra Cannon, capable of destroying the moon!" the Fourth Raikage thought bitterly.

"Where are we heading now, sir?" Haku asked from behind Kai.

Kai chuckled lightly. "To retrieve something."

Haku looked puzzled, and beside him, Kimimaro and Itachi shared the same confusion. However, none of them pressed further.

Kagura Mind's Eye!

Through the Kagura Mind's Eye, countless traces of chakra within Kumogakure were imprinted into Kai's consciousness. Although he had never seen the legendary tools once wielded by the Sage of Six Paths, several clusters of chakra radiating an ancient aura stood out starkly in his mental map.

"Found it," Kai murmured, a faint smile curling at his lips.

"However, it seems I'll have to deal with some little mice following us first." A group of Kumogakure ANBU had been tailing Kai and his team.

Kagura: Mental Shock!

Unlike the more aggressive Kagura: Mental Annihilation, which Kai reserved for the battlefield, this technique was less lethal. He wasn't particularly bloodthirsty in non-combat situations. Still, the Mental Shock was enough to incapacitate the ANBU for at least ten days to half a month.

"Alright, let's move."

Grabbing his three young companions, Kai activated Divine Descent. In the blink of an eye, they appeared at the edge of Kumogakure, in front of a shrine.

The shrine, ancient and weathered, stood with its doors tightly shut. It seemed to have been neglected for years, its appearance old and worn.

Kai wasted no time and strode forward.

Creaaak...

As Kai pushed open the door, three Kumogakure shinobi immediately appeared before him.

"Who are you? This is the shrine of the Raikage lineage in Kumogakure. Outsiders are not welcome here!" one of them barked sharply.

"Outsider? Apologies, but I'm not here as a tourist," Kai replied with a faint smile.

It was then that the three shinobi noticed the Konoha forehead protector on Itachi Uchiha's head. Their pupils contracted in shock as they exclaimed, "You're Konoha shinobi!"

"Hmm... Looks like we've been discovered," Kai remarked nonchalantly, showing no concern whatsoever.

"Damn it!" The three Kumogakure shinobi tensed immediately, their hands flying through hand seals.

As guards of such an important shrine, the three shinobi were elite jonin-level at the very least. Their strength was impressive, enough to hold their ground against most Kage-level opponents while awaiting reinforcements from the village.

But their opponent was Kai Mitarashi.

To Kai, anyone below Kage-level—be they genin or elite jonin—were all the same: a single punch was enough.

Steel Fist: Sky-Breaking Strike!

The chakra-infused shockwave from Kai's punch was so concentrated it nearly took on a tangible form. If it fully materialized into a fist, it would evolve into the Divine Sky Strike. For now, it was a half-step away from that ultimate technique.

Under the force of his strike, there was no other outcome.

The three Kumogakure guards were utterly crushed, their bones shattered entirely. They collapsed onto the ground, their fates uncertain.

Without sparing them another glance, Kai followed the chakra trail he had sensed with his Kagura Mind's Eye and proceeded deeper into the shrine.

Soon, he arrived at a wooden door sealed with talismans. Kai, disinterested in subtlety, tore off the seals and pushed open the door.

Inside was a large, jar-shaped ninja tool: the Kohaku no Jōhei (Amber Purifying Pot).

Even with the Kagura Mind's Eye, Kai couldn't discern the internal structure of the pot. Activating his Byakugan, he peered deeper, but the interior remained an impenetrable black void.

"Interesting. It seems this Amber Purifying Pot is connected to an alternate dimension. As expected of a tool used by the Sage of Six Paths—truly remarkable craftsmanship!"

The Amber Purifying Pot was a word-based sealing tool. Simply calling out someone's name and having them respond would result in them being sealed inside. It was an utterly unreasonable and overpowered ninja tool, one of the Sage of Six Paths' strongest creations.

"Seal!"

Kai pulled out a scroll and sealed the Amber Purifying Pot within it without hesitation. Then, he moved on to the other rooms.

Meanwhile, in the Raikage's office.

"What did you say? All the ANBU monitoring Kai Mitarashi have fallen unconscious?" The Fourth Raikage was visibly shaken. "Where is Kai Mitarashi now?"

"We... we don't know," the nervous Kumogakure ninja stammered.

"Then why are you still standing here? Go find him!" the Raikage roared.

"Raikage-sama, bad news!" Another Kumogakure ninja burst into the office.

"What is it now? Speak!" The Raikage's face was ashen.

"The shrine housing the Sage's ninja tools has been breached! The sealing talismans have been destroyed!" the panicked shinobi reported.

"What?!" The Fourth Raikage's expression turned to one of utter disbelief.

Kai Mitarashi's name immediately came to mind.

Kai had vanished just moments earlier, and now news of the shrine's breach had reached him. The Fourth Raikage wasn't foolish—he could easily connect the dots.

Clenching his teeth, the Raikage barked, "Notify Elder Saki immediately. Fire the Chakra Cannon! Destroy the shrine completely!"
