Chapter 190: The Seal

"Danzo, are all the preparations complete?" Hiruzen asked, his voice calm but serious.

"Don't worry. Everything went according to plan. Those foolish ninja fell right into our trap," Danzo replied with a smirk of satisfaction. He then began to recount the conversation that had taken place within the walls of the Daimyo castle.

One day earlier…

"Impossible! This seal is a closely guarded secret. We cannot simply hand it over to the other villages," Danzo had said, his voice firm.

"Daimyo-sama, it appears Konoha is unwilling to share the seal with us. Without it, we cannot break through Uzushiogakure whirlpool barrier," complained the Third Tsuchikage. "This is a betrayal from Konoha."

"Danzo, give them the seal," the Daimyo ordered coldly, his eyes narrowing looking at Danzo.

"Daimyo-sama," Danzo replied respectfully, "while we cannot share the seal itself, we fully understand the importance of the mission. As such, our shinobi will open the path using the seal. Once the barrier is disabled, other allied shinobi will be able to access the island freely."

The room fell into a tense silence. Danzo response, calculated and clever, left no room for further argument. The Kage from the other villages exchanged glances but offered no further protest. Even the Fire Daimyo was forced to swallow his frustration.

Everyone eventually agreed with Konoha proposition. But there was one man who could not hide his irritation—the Fire Daimyo himself. No one had ever dared to defy his orders outright. Even Sarutobi Hiruzen had always followed his commands without question. Only two men had ever crossed that line. the legendary Uzumaki Ashina, who had once slain nobles in the Land of Fire and now Danzo.

Quietly, the Fire Daimyo marked Danzo as a traitor. He would have to be eliminated—eventually.

Back to the present…

"Good, Danzo," praised Hiruzen as he walked toward the window of his office. He stood silently, gazing up at the Hokage Monument carved into the side of the mountain.

"I'm sorry, Tobirama-sensei," he murmured, a trace of guilt in his voice.

"Hiruzen," Danzo said firmly, "this is a necessary sacrifice. Don't grow soft. Isn't this exactly what Tobirama-sensei taught us? He suppressed the Uchiha Clan because they posed a threat to Konoha. We had no choice but to do the same to the Senju Clan—they had begun to mirror the same dangerous traits."

"You're right, Danzo," Hiruzen replied with a reluctant smile, though his eyes betrayed his conflict.

Unbeknownst to them, in their side, they are invisible form of Tobirama Senju was fuming with rage. For years now, he and his brother Hashirama—as well as Mikoto Uchiha—had watched in silent horror as Danzo and Hiruzen committed atrocity after atrocity under the guise of protecting the village.

Tobirama had tried countless times to scream, to curse, to strike the two men—but his body could do nothing. At one point, he had even muttered bitterly, "Is this my punishment for how I treated the Uchiha?"

Hashirama added fuel to his brother's fury.

"Look at what you've done," he said. "Your actions against the Uchiha have made them paranoid. Now they see any form of opposition as a threat to the village itself."

Mikoto tried her best to calm them, her gentle treatment is the only source of warmth in the growing storm.

---At the Edge of Uzushiogakure – The Army Gathers---

"Jarvis, how many shinobi have moved toward Uzushiogakure?" asked Setsuna, arms crossed.

"Currently, there are 65,345 shinobi en route. Of those, 41,245 are male and 24,100 are female," replied Jarvis, his voice echoing from the AI in his pocket. Setsuna had built a device that could easily make him speak with Jarvis easily.

Setsuna nodded grimly. "Looks like it's time for me to get ready as well."

He summoned his wives, his son—Uchiha Hizashi—and every individual who had awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan and even his other student and also the higher up in Uzushiogakure to meet in Hall.

Hyuga Haruko, his wife, had become exceptionally powerful. After Setsuna had defeated Urashiki Ōtsutsuki, he had extracted Urashiki's Byakugan and transplanted it into Haruko—almost like changing a lightbulb, he had joked once. But the results had been far beyond his expectations.

Not only had Haruko awakened the red and blue Rinnegan, but her dojutsu had evolved even further. She now possessed the Tenseigan—a rare and powerful ocular ability unseen in many generations. Perhaps it was the genetic serum she had taken on their wedding night that had enabled her body to adapt so perfectly to the foreign eye.

Even Sasuke Uchiha had been left speechless when he first laid eyes on her new abilities.

"First Setsuna had the Rinnegan… now his wife too?" he had muttered. This alternate timeline was turning out to be far stronger than the one he came from.

As Setsuna continued his preparations, he noticed Uchiha Izuna approaching.

"Hey, Izuna," Setsuna greeted with a nod.

"Setsuna, I need a favor," Izuna replied, his expression serious.

"What kind of favor?"

"I need you to unseal my eyes."

Setsuna's brows furrowed. "I can do that, but I'll need permission from the Uzukage. I made a promise to him that your eyes would remain sealed."

"I understand," Izuna said respectfully. "But I want to protect my daughter. She's happy here, and I don't want my brother—Madara—to destroy everything."

Setsuna nodded. "I'll speak to him."

Few minutes later, Setsuna sought out Uchiha Kagami. "Give me a list of every Uchiha who has successfully awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan."

Kagami handed him the list. After a quick glance, Setsuna said, "Call all of them to the central hall."

---The Hall of War – Army of Susanoo---

Twenty minutes later, forty-six Uchiha shinobi with Mangekyou Sharingan stood in the great hall. Alongside them were Namikaze Kirito, Uzumaki Naruto, and Uzumaki Boruto. Even a few Jonin from the Hyuga and Chinoike clans had joined. The Uzukage and several high-ranking Jonin were also present.

Everyone fell silent as Setsuna stepped forward.

"Attention, everyone. Today marks the end of your training," Setsuna began. "From now on, we fight to defend our village."

He activated a projector, displaying a live image of the enemy forces—over sixty thousand strong—marching toward Uzushiogakure.

Gasps echoed through the hall. Though they had anticipated an attack, the sheer size of the opposing army still came as a shock.

The Uzukage sighed. "You were right, Setsuna… as always."

But Setsuna raised his hand. "Don't be afraid. Even though they outnumber us, we are far stronger."

He closed his eyes, and when he opened them, the Mangekyou Sharingan blazed red in both eye sockets. The room darkened slightly from the pressure of his chakra.

"We have the Mangekyou Sharingan!" he roared. As his chakra exploded outward, it formed into a towering Susanoo.

Setsuna's Susanoo stood over 1,156 meters tall—dwarfing every other Susanoo in history. For comparison, a typical fully formed Susanoo was only around 300 meters.

Even Sasuke, hardened by countless battles, was stunned.

Naruto's jaw dropped. Even Kurama stirred within him. "What… what is that?" the beast muttered, astonished.

The army of Uzushiogakure stood in awe. Hope flickered in their eyes.

Because today, they were not just fighting against the world.

They were fighting alongside with a legendary Ninja Uchiha Setsuna.
