Chapter 191: The Call For Help

---Enemy---

"We have opened the path, you guys can go and attack now. The whirlpool will be in a state of inactive around 3 hours before the chakra ran out " said the Root Ninja.

Hearing the announcement, all the ninja blood boils, some of them feel scared, some feel excited and some want to show off their power.

They are sure they can win this war because Uzushiogakure is small and they have more people compared to Konoha. According to data from 14 years ago, Uzushiogakure had a total of around 5000 shinobi.

So with their army, which has more than 60,000 people, this is sure win. What they didn't know is that they will either get caught in the fire and die alongside the Uzumaki member or win the war and get rewarded by their Kage.

The weak decided to be in the rear, let those Jonin and Kage sit in the front.

"Kumogakure Ninja, Uzushiogakure only had a few ninja to defend their village, let's stomp them now, everyone follow me," shouted the Third Raikage.

His announcement was greeted with a more than 10,000 shinobi, the nervousness they felt earlier vanished. For a moment, 10 thousands of ninja became brave like a Spartan warriors

A unified roar answered his call. Thousands of Kumogakure ninja moved as one, sprinting across the surface of the sea. Their footsteps rippled the ocean, like the waves themselves were carrying them toward the island.

It will takes around 20 minutes for them to arrive on the island but with their lightning chakra movement, it will take even shorter in just 10 minutes.

---Tsuchikage POV---

Looking at the Raikage attacking like a bandit, the Tsuchikage could only sigh with disdain.

"They're all muscle and no brains," muttered the Tsuchikage.

He then turned toward the Hawk Team. "Remember, your squad is on rear duty. If you spot any Uzumaki trying to escape the island -men, women, shinobi or civilian—kill them without hesitation."

"We will, Tsuchikage," replied the Hawk Team in unison, their voices cold and without emotion.

The Tsuchikage then shifted his attention toward the Monkey Team, composed of specialized infiltration units with chakra suppressors and paralysis seals.

"Your job is to capture a few children, if possible. Prioritize those showing strong chakra signatures, they'll be valuable for breeding or experimentation," Onoki ordered.

"We will, Tsuchikage," the Monkey Team answered grimly, already prepared with sealing scrolls and shadow cloaks for silent abduction. All of this scrolls were given by Konoha for this war.

Onoki didn't flinch as he issued such cruel commands. In his mind, the Uzumaki were no longer a village, but a resource, something to be exploited before the other nations could get their hands on it. The knowledge stored within the bloodlines and scrolls of Uzushiogakure could shift the balance of power for decades, perhaps even centuries. If the other villages wanted to be ruthless, he would be even more so.

Still hovering slightly above the surface of the sea, Onoki glanced at the horizon where the island's barrier shimmered faintly. "We were too soft during the last war. This time, we finish the job." With that, he motioned forward with a sharp flick of his fingers. "Everyone else—follow me."

--- Kazekage POV---

"Why do we have to join in too?" asked one of the Chunin to his teammate, but his voice was a bit too loud and was overheard by the Kazekage.

The Kazekage, who noticed the comment, turned his head slightly and replied coldly, "Because this war is being sponsored by the Daimyo. The reason our village has grown wealthy recently is because they want this small island wiped off the map."

The Chunin who had spoken earlier immediately fell silent, sweat forming on his forehead. He hadn't expected the Kazekage to hear his words, let alone respond. For a moment, he feared he had overstepped his place.

Seeing the fear in the Chunin eyes, the Kazekage simply continued, "Our mission today is clear, kill as many of them as possible and bring the sealing scrolls back to Sunagakure. This isn't a negotiation. This is war, and we are the blade."

"Yes, Kazekage-sama!" roared the shinobi from Sunagakure in unison, their voices sharp and disciplined, though some carried hesitation.

As the desert shinobi prepared to advance, the wind picked up, scattering sand even across the ocean air.

One of the senior captains from the Kazekage's elite guard approached him. "Kazekage-sama, should we prioritize scrolls or targets of interest?"

"Both," the Kazekage answered without hesitation. "The scrolls will bring us power, but prisoners—especially sealing experts—will bring us more knowledge. Capture if you can, kill if you must. Leave no witnesses."

---Daimyo---

Today was the day the small island without a Daimyo would be destroyed. The Fire Daimyo had invited the other Daimyo to witness the report of the war, hosting a private gathering filled with food, drink.

"Hahahaha, today I am truly happy," said the Fire Daimyo, raising his goblet. "Those who dare disrespect the power of a Daimyo should simply be erased along with their bloodline and their clan."

The other Daimyo smirked and raised their glasses in agreement. They, too, had invested heavily in this war and shared the same desire, to crush anyone who dared question the authority and supremacy of the Daimyo over shinobi villages. This was not just revenge, it was a message.

For centuries, even though Daimyo were individually weaker than most shinobi, their political and economic influence kept them at the top of the hierarchy. In their domains, they ruled without question. They could execute, exile, or reward citizens on a whim, and few would dare oppose them.

Even after the era of Hashirama and Madara, the Daimyo maintained control over their countries' resources, shaping the rise and fall of shinobi villages through funding, decrees, and backroom deals. To them, the idea that a small, independent village like Uzushiogakure—without a Daimyo, yet thriving—could survive or even prosper was an insult.

"This is how order is maintained," muttered the Wind Daimyo as he took a slow sip of tea. "A reminder to every shinobi village not to forget who truly rules."

"Indeed," added the Earth Daimyo. "A village without a Daimyo is a village without a leash. Let this be their end."

As the party continued, they turned their eyes to the enchanted projection in the center of the hall, a live feed prepared by one of their Konoha Shinobi. They all watched with cruel anticipation, eager to see the moment the slaughter began.

---Help Message---

It will take a day for a ninja from Konoha to reach Uzushiogakure, but after Jiraiya comes back from Uzushiogakure. Setsuna had installed a portal from Uzushiogakure directly to Konoha, so Konoha forces could come to Uzushiogakure to defend the village.

Suddenly they received an emergency message, Uzushiogakure ninja had come to Konoha and asked for reinforcement.
