Naruto: I Became Sakura and Accidentally Got a Nuke

Thinking about this, the Third quietly set down his pipe. Perhaps he had indeed grown soft-hearted in recent years, but once upon a time, he was known as the "Shinobi no Kami" (God of Ninja). This title wasn't simply because he mastered five types of Ninjutsu; it also came from his firm leadership style.

"Yu, go notify Shikaku. Have him reply to Cloud Village, demanding they properly explain their attempt to kidnap the heir of the Hyuga clan. Also, have them prepare compensation. Otherwise, let them prepare to receive a declaration of war from Konoha!"

The Third's voice was unusually firm. So what if there was a war? Back then, Konoha had survived fighting against many enemies alone. Facing just Cloud Village now, what was there to fear?

"I think we should inform the Hyuga clan as well!" Sakura reminded him. If those stubborn elders of the Hyuga clan forced Hizashi Hyuga to commit suicide like in the original storyline, then everything she'd done would be meaningless!

"All right!" The Third nodded and stood up. He knew how headstrong the Hyuga clan could be, and since this matter directly involved them, naturally they needed to be informed.

Because of Sakura's strange sense of humor, the Third floated through the air atop a pink cloud.

"Sakura, why must you insist I fly through the sky standing on a cloud?" the Third muttered with some displeasure. He really wanted to soar on a floating sword—now that would be cool! But Sakura insisted he use a cloud for travel, saying something about possessing the [Golden Staff] meant needing the [Cloud Somersault] as well. What annoyed him most was that this cloud was actually pink. For an old man like himself to ride on a pink cloud, the image just looked completely out of place.

"Only the [Cloud Somersault] matches the [Golden Staff]!" Sakura whispered with a smile. She had intentionally used the [Reality Stone] to create this pink [Cloud Somersault]. Who told the Third to have the nickname "monkey," and to use Enma transformed into the [Golden Staff] as his weapon? Without giving him a [Cloud Somersault], Sakura always felt the world somehow seemed incomplete.

"And doesn't [Grandfather] Third feel that standing on a cloud gives you a kind of celestial aura?"

"But...why did the cloud have to be pink?" the Third sighed inwardly. If someone who knew him saw him like this, who knows what embarrassing rumors would spread behind his back!

"A pink cloud shows [Grandfather] Third has a youthful girl's heart!" Sakura laughed until her eyes squinted shut.

Sighing deeply, the Third felt as if he were about to ruin his hard-earned reputation in his later years. Yet here he already was, standing on the cloud halfway through the journey. The Anbu following behind had already seen him like this. Getting off now clearly served no purpose.

That day, many ninja in Konoha looking upward witnessed an astonishing spectacle: a flying sword and a pink cloud speeding across the skies above Konoha. On the sword stood a pretty little girl, while on the pink cloud stood none other than their beloved Third Hokage!

The visual acuity of ninja allowed them to see things clearly, especially for the Uchiha clan whose Sharingan granted them even sharper dynamic vision. They had witnessed everything, which later laid the groundwork for Danzō's annihilation of the Uchiha clan and the Third Hokage's silent complicity.

Soon enough, the two arrived at the Hyūga clan's estate. Lowering the Demonic Weapon and the cloud beneath their feet to just half a meter above ground, they simply hovered forward until reaching the entrance to the Hyūga estate.

"Now that's some serious old money!" Sakura couldn't help but feel a twinge in her chest—the Hyūga estate was genuinely enormous. This clearly demonstrated how wealthy the Hyūga were. Moreover, in the original story, when Naruto married Hinata, that house must have been part of her dowry. Otherwise, given Naruto's bank account, how could he ever afford such a detached villa? Just look at how even Sakura Haruno, as head of Konoha's medical division, ended up taking on a mortgage after marrying Sasuke—how could someone like her fall into such financial stress? After all, she used to be the head of Konoha's medical department, yet still bore decades of mortgage debt.

Chapter Eighteen: Saving Hizashi Hyūga [Mid]

Wouldn't it be great if we cracked open the vaults and shared all this wealth!

"The Hyūga are an ancient clan; centuries of accumulation naturally mean they're financially secure!"

Seeing Sakura's pained expression, the Third chuckled.

"I've made my decision!" Sakura clenched both hands tightly. "I'm definitely expanding my business across the entire shinobi world—I absolutely refuse to live every day burdened by mortgage repayments!"

As soon as the Third arrived, the Hyūga clan sprang into action—a group of white-eyed clan members quickly ushered the Third and Sakura inside, though informing them that Hiashi Hyūga was currently in a meeting and wouldn't be available anytime soon.

For this, the Third couldn't really say much, so he and Sakura simply sat there quietly waiting.

Hiashi arrived shortly after being informed, but what caught Sakura off guard was that his Byakugan looked slightly red, as if he'd recently been crying.

"My apologies, Lord Third. I was dealing with something important and thus arrived late," Hiashi managed a strained smile, clenching his fists while thinking about what had happened during the earlier meeting, barely holding back tears.

"Hiashi, I've already asked Shikaku to send our reply letter to Cloud Village."

Before the Third could finish speaking, the Hyūga Great Elder walked in from outside.

"Lord Third, we've found a solution to this matter. It won't provoke any war between Konoha and Cloud Village!"

"Huh?!" The Third looked bewildered—what kind of trouble was the Hyūga clan stirring up now?

"If Cloud Village wants the corpse of the Hyūga clan leader, then we'll give them one identical corpse!" the Hyūga Great Elder stated firmly.

"One identical corpse…" Initially confused, the Third suddenly realized something—the Hyūga did possess someone who looked exactly like Hiashi Hyūga—but that man was Hiashi's own younger brother. "You can't possibly be planning to…!"

"Just as The Third Hokage predicted, Hizashi sacrificed himself to protect his brother. Handing over Hizashi's body should satisfy the Cloud Village's demands, don't you think?" A faint smile crossed the Hyuga Great Elder's face. For them, branch members had always been born to die for the main house.
