Vergil fell to the ground heaving in and out after a long fight and on Dante's side.

Goliath roared angrily while spewing out lava balls "I want to be the new demon king"

Dante: oh you speak my language, not like those other things, that speak demō.

He put his sword on his shoulder while walking over to the Goliath.

Goliath: let me kill you, I swear it will be worth it, I'll conquer the demon realm, and kill it's leader then rule in his place.

Dante looked down then looked up at the his disgusting face, "why don't I kill this leader, that way no one rules".

Goliath face froze and he said "you, you won't win".

Dante: yeah, yeah.

Goliath: aghh! Damn you! Spardas son.

'thud'

Dante fell to ass again and looked over towards vergil and he muttered "finally taking things seriously".

Vergil stood up quickly walked over to the disappearing Gilgamesh and a bright light shined and came towards him.

Dante just watched in the distance and said "the hell is going on over there".

After a couple of seconds the light faded and a weird looking sniper with two tentacles appeared on Vergil's shoulder.

He aimed it at the distance and the two tentacles glowed, then he shot it, and two blinding lights shot out and pierced the mountains in multiple successions.

After feeling the kick of this thing Vergil muttered "this packs a punch, it felt like my shoulder was being sucked into a black hole, like that damn Dantes annoying attack".

Dante's mouth went wide "what the, how the hell can he get something like that".

He looked at Goliath expecting the guy to give him something and he was seen rubbing his hands excitedly.

It didn't take long for the same thing to happen for him and the same blinding light appeared, this also woke Vergil's surprise and he turned around towards Dante and looked at him.

Vergil: let's see what he gets.

The light faded and Dante was soon seen holding a whip, that was leaking lava, naturally Dante put on his hat and started saying "yeeha!".

'whoosh'

'whistle'

'bang'

Each whip leaving a whistling sound and exploding on each impact splashing lava bombs on each hit.

Dante thought [this would be good if I wrap it around someone and then bring out balrog, they'd have to accept a beating].

He looked towards vergil and vergil stared back at Dante.

Both their faces twitched, knowing full well what the two wanted.

Vergil: Dante!

Dante: Vergil!.

After 3 more months on the outside.

Ayame: where the hell did Dante go.

She was currently seated with Izumi while her hand was on her chin, she had gotten to know her, since they were both inside the hospital, they bumped into one another.

And after finding out they were both mother's to the Two's disappearance, they became acquaintances.

Izumi: I'm sure they'll come back.

Izumi was smiling brightly that was shining down on Ayame making her mood soften.

Ayame: tch, they better, I've gotta give that guy an ear full when he's back.

Back in the demon realm.

It's been a full six years for them in this realm, they're currently in their 30's now.

Dante was seated on a bunch of corpse's and vergil was seen cooking up a meal and he said to dante, "I've been thinking, shouldn't we find a way back home".

Dante who was staring up at the sky looked down and he said "ah, I almost forgot".

Vergil's face twitched in annoyance, he looked at his template icon and clicked it in his mind.

What was seen was his power that has increased to the peak of ascended, it's very close to the next breakthrough.

After they had eaten Vergil stood up looked at Dante and Dante upon feeling his stare stood up too.

Dante: 'sigh', c'mon!.

Vergil: aghh!.

'Boom!'

They both rushed at each other and clashed their blades against another while in their sin state.

Vergil: DO YOU NOT FEEL OUR POWER HAS INCREASED.

Dante: OF COURSE I DO.

As the two were conversing with one another a feeling of dizziness came over them.

Dante: OH CRAP, WHAT'S HAPPENING.

Soon they both disappeared and arrived back at the hospital and several people who was standing nearby saw them appear out of thin air, in the same spot they disappeared a couple months back.

???: aghhh! Monster's.

One of the nurse's ran for her life upon seeing their appearance as did some other's, they were still in their sin state, while their blades were still clashed together.

Vergil sighed and said "WE'RE BACK".

Dante was still in a stunned state, but upon hearing Vergil's words he woke up from the stupor.

Dante: FINALLY.

Just as Dante was about to deactivate his trigger state, vergil spoke again while he put his hand on Dante's shoulder "DON'T, NOT HERE THEY'LL DEFINITELY, THINK OF US AS A NEED FOR EXTERMINATION".

Dante felt a wave of humiliation but still complied.

The two disappeared from the spot they were standing and deactivated their sin state.

Vergil smelling the fresh air again rather than a bloodied battlefield, felt a wave of nostalgia.

Vergil: ghh, damn we stink, I'm heading back home, I need a cleanup.

Dante just nodded staring into the distance of the sun's dusk.

When Vergil arrived home and had a quick shower and shaved his beard, he fell asleep.

In his dream.

There was nothing but blackness, he looked around feeling a strange feeling.

Until he heard a voice.

???: give me your body.

Vergil:...

When Vergil heard this he turned towards the sound and saw someone sitting on a black spiked throne, with the same appearance as himself.

Vergil: shit! Of course you'll appear.

Past Vergil: you will give me your body, I'll have my goal achieved that way.
