Vergil just stared into nothing watching him disappear slowly, while a flux of memories flooded his mind about, the past of Vergil's life.

He was currently reliving all the scenes in first person rather from a third person prospective like in the games.

After some time, he woke up, his body steaming, with a slight tear in the corner of his eye.

"Damnit, we've fused our memories, I won't change will I, I don't feel any different, I feel the same, damnit what if he was lying", there was many thoughts going through his mind at this moment.

After a while he shook off the thoughts, when his body stopped steaming, he looked at the iconp, clicked it, and it only showed his corresponding power.

He thought to himself [will I be able to beat that member of the otsutsuki clan now] he still feels as if this grudge should be settled one way or another, for killing his other self.

He stood up from the bed and decided not to get involved with otsutsuki yet, he feels like if he killed that person another big boss would appear and one tap him.

Kill the son, the father comes, kill the father, the grandfather comes, kill the grandfather, the ancestor comes, kill the ancestor and then comes the god of that family.

He thought those Chinese words were all nonsense, in those manhuas, but what if it's all true.

He decided to just go after them after he's reached a power when even their gods would not be able to withstand a single swipe of his blade.

And on Dante's side.

After being pulled by the ear back to his daughters room by Ayame, he fell back to sleep, rocking her cot.

Ayame a couple hours later came in and saw it and she had a smile on her face and she muttered "idiot".

Early next morning, in konoha.

Mikoto had left the tomb for almost 2 months now, she felt out of place within it and decided to go back to konoha, when she heard that vergil had gone Missing again, she had bought a new home, and has been staying inside since.

Vergil upon hearing this thought it would be for the best if she can't handle the place but he still asked Demiurge to keep them safe within the shadows.

Mikoto was currently seen with a different appearance to match her new daughter's hair, pure white, she didn't change anything else.

And she even accepted to become a devil after hearing that her daughter would watch her grow old as she stayed in her prime for thousands of years, so she decided to accept the change, to at least keep her daughter company.

And back to Dante.

He was sleeping soundly until he was woken up by the child's cries and felt like he was going insane from the noise "alright alright, little one I'll go get you, your drink".

After getting her a drink, he realized she didn't need it and he almost collapsed from the noise of her crying, after some time he was seen looking exhausted.

Just after putting her to sleep and feeling tired from taking care of the girl, someone knocked on his door to his home.

"Yelho" he opened the door with gusto and saw two people standing there, both of them had serious expressions, he stared for a few seconds before saying "er, can I help" he thought these people might be here for trouble.

One of them spoke to him right after hearing him and said "can we speak inside, it'll be worth your time".

Dante: worth my time. riiiiight, and who are you exactly.

???: we'll say it when we're inside.

They still had serious faces while speaking and listening to each other.

After some thought Dante decided to let them in, "so mind telling me, who you are now", Dante was ready to attack them in a instant if they act in a strange manner, since there's a precious close by.

They just stood at the door neither taking off their shoes nor moving, until one of them spoke "we're from the kurama clan, we wish for you to help us".

The one that spoke immediately went into a postration by himself into a dogeza position and begged Dante to help.

"Huh? Help". Dante thought they'd come here for a fight or something, he didn't expect them to ask for help.

Kurama jinzo: yes one our clansman has something within her that needs your help to subdue.

Dante felt like he was being treated as some sort savior and he thought to himself [this is strange, why are they acting like they know me].

Kurama jinzo: ah? Don't worry we'll pay you and don't worry all you have to do is protect her.

Jinzo upon seeing Dantes expression added some sugar to the coat.

Dante really thought these guys knew him too well and he just continued to stare at them, making them feel a tinge bit nervous.

Dante looked back at the room then back towards them "fine I'll do it, but I'll be there after taking care of something".

After some hours Dante arrived at their residence, they even waited outside his house which made him feel a little overwhelmed.

After arriving he went inside their clan home and saw a girl drawing, with a couple of people surrounding her.

Upon sensing something staring at her she looked towards him, she had a smile and jinzo who was by his side said "that young lady is your mission".

Dante: alright.

He just slouched and looked around for a seat from today's stressful events.

After getting to know the girl and hearing about her, he became a little disinterested, he was invited on her birthday.

Just as he was about to relax, she came over again, bowed slightly and told him her name and why he's truly here.

Kurama yakumo: my name is yakumo, and the reason I've invited you today, is because I have had dreams about you, being a demon, and I have a demon within me, that will need suppressing, i saw you suppress it with ease that's why I asked them to invite you.

Dante: huh?
