Naruto: Konoha’s Trickster, Starting as the Seven-Tails Jinchūriki

Chapter 63: Chapter 63: A Bear Drooling While Staring at Him!

Kazuyama lay on his hospital bed, sensing the faint killing intent radiating from both sides, so oppressive that he didn't dare move a muscle.

He silently opened his personal panel:

The only silver lining was that his progress towards the Tailed Beast transformation had reached an impressive 90%. At this stage, he could transform into the Seven-Tails and maintain full control of his consciousness—a true Perfect Jinchūriki. The reward was substantial, but the cost? Far too steep.

His gaze shifted uneasily. On his left, Fugaku stood poised, ready to draw his blade, while on the right, Minato glared at him, pale and tense.

Oh, the misery.

"Chōmei, how long will it take for my body to heal?" Kazuyama pleaded internally. "I don't need a full recovery, just enough to move! I can't endure this any longer."

Desperation laced his thoughts as he begged his Tailed Beast for assistance.

"Well… there is a way," Chōmei replied, his voice tinged with mischief. "I am the Seven-Tails, after all. But this method may not suit you, and it could have side effects…"

Chōmei clearly enjoyed watching the chaos unfold, but seeing his host in such a bind, he decided to lend a hand. Future entertainment required a capable Kazuyama, after all.

"Side effects don't matter!" Kazuyama thought fiercely. "I'll take whatever comes. I just need to get out of here now!" If he could move, he would have already used the Flying Thunder God Technique to escape. Lying in the forest sounded far better than being trapped between these two men.

"Do you know about Scale Powder?" Chōmei began. "You can paralyze your body with it, minimizing the effects of the medicine, and use the brief window to teleport with the Flying Thunder God Technique."

"Or… have you considered Tailed Beast Transformation?"

The mention of this possibility sent a shiver through Kazuyama. Of course! How had he forgotten? If he transformed, his surging chakra would instantly burn through the lingering effects of the medicine.

"Good! Chōmei, this is a great idea!" Kazuyama exclaimed mentally. "Hurry! My chakra is completely immobilized. Lend me yours and use Scale Powder to help me!"

Chōmei paused, his tone shifting as he considered the situation.

"Kazuyama, you should know that while you're my Jinchūriki now, Tailed Beast Transformation is a process," he cautioned. "If you lose control during the first transformation, both of us could end up locked away in Konoha. I just escaped from that nightmare—I don't want to go back."

Kazuyama, however, was unbothered. What was there to worry about? He was already 90% synchronized with Chōmei. A simple transformation wouldn't be an issue. Worst case, he could limit it to a Half-Tailed Beast state. His only goal now was to force the medicine out of his body. Victory felt so close.

"Don't worry, Chōmei," Kazuyama reassured him. "Use the Scale Powder without hesitation. Leave the Tailed Beast Transformation to me. With our affinity and coordination, I've got this covered. Just douse me in powder—I'll handle the rest!"

Chōmei sighed, sensing Kazuyama's unwavering confidence. He wasn't sure where the boy got such boldness, but with a 100% affinity bonus, he chose to trust him.

"Alright, Kazuyama," Chōmei relented. "Pay close attention to your body. The moment you feel numbness setting in, activate the Flying Thunder God Technique immediately. I'll let the Scale Powder seep in gradually—too fast, and you'll just pass out."

This Scale Powder wasn't like the kind Kazuyama could create himself. It was derived from Chōmei's body, making it far more potent.

As soon as it entered Kazuyama's system, he felt an overwhelming numbness, starting with his tongue.

"Ah…ah…" You two idiots, I'm out of here!

"Ahhh!!!" Bye-bye!

Fugaku and Minato stared at Kazuyama, who was now wide-eyed, opening and closing his mouth like a madman while yelling nonsensically. Black lines practically formed on their foreheads in exasperation.

"Asshole! Are you mute? What the hell is 'ah'?!" Fugaku snapped.

"Exactly! Can't you speak? What the hell is 'ah'?!" Minato chimed in, equally irritated.

Both men glared at each other, fury brewing, but their IV bags prevented them from acting on their frustration.

But before either could say another word, they froze.

Kazuyama had vanished—IV bag and all.

"Disappeared? No, did he use a technique to leave?"

"Flying Thunder God Technique? No way! I can't even mobilize my chakra, so how did he do it?"

Fugaku was stunned, and Minato looked equally dumbfounded. Ever since they'd been hooked up to the IVs, their chakra had been locked, rendering them incapable of even the simplest ninjutsu.

Yet somehow, Kazuyama had managed to activate a high-level technique and escape.

What the hell is going on here?!

Meanwhile, Kazuyama, having activated the Flying Thunder God Technique, teleported to the farthest marked coordinate he could recall. In a flash, he found himself in the Death Forest.

"Damn, these woods are so gloomy. Where is this? Is there really such a place in Konoha?"

The transition from the brightly lit hospital room to the dark, shadowy forest was jarring, even for Chōmei, who seemed momentarily startled.

"Ah…"

Kazuyama tried to speak but quickly realized the paralysis had rendered his mouth and tongue almost useless. Saliva dripped from the corners of his mouth as he struggled in vain. Frustrated, he shouted to Chōmei within the depths of his mind:

"Forget where this is! Hurry up and get ready to transform into a Tailed Beast. This forest isn't safe—I don't want to get blindsided by a bear or something later…"

And then, as if summoned by his worst fear—

"Holy shit!!! Chōmei, hurry up, there's a bear!!!"

A massive creature loomed before him, its brownish-gray fur matted and dirty, standing a towering three meters tall.

This is a freaking bear!!!

But the real problem wasn't its size. No, the real issue was the way it was drooling as it stared at him, clearly seeing Kazuyama as its next meal.

"Tailed Beast transformation! Tailed Beast transformation!!!"

Kazuyama panicked, screaming at Chōmei. Without wasting another moment, he reached out for the seal with a trembling hand and flung the door open.

In an instant, Chōmei's immense chakra surged through his body, rippling outward like a tidal wave. The bear hesitated, sensing the overwhelming power building before it.
