As the smoke lifted, every Cloud Ninja stood frozen in shock, staring at the center of the battlefield.

The ground had turned into scorched earth, yet Chinya still stood there unharmed.

Seeing Chinya emerge unscathed, the Cloud Ninja immediately reacted, launching numerous Ninjutsu techniques toward him.

Chinya activated the Mangekyo Sharingan in his left eye. All the techniques appeared to strike him, but he suffered no harm whatsoever — not even his clothes were damaged.

This ability was sealed within his left Mangekyo Sharingan.

The ability itself was incredibly simple.

Once the 'Wanju Dojutsu' was active, his body automatically rejected any external technique, rendering opponents' techniques completely ineffective.

Watching the Cloud Ninja continuing to launch techniques at him, Chinya snorted in contempt and charged headlong into the enemy ranks.

Chinya swung his Ninja Sword, cleanly severing the Cloud Ninja's arm before beheading him.

He casually tossed the severed limb aside and resumed his massacre.

The Cloud Ninjas before him were like lambs awaiting slaughter, completely powerless to resist.

After obtaining the Mangekyo Sharingan and awakening his Dojutsu, Chinya had already attained elite Jonin status.

Though only two words separated "Jonin" from "Elite Jonin," the gap between them was vast.

This Cloud Ninja Chunin lay on the ground, staring at Chinya in fear.

Chinya squatted down in front of the Chunin, who immediately began trembling violently, believing Chinya was about to kill him.

Chinya smiled at him.

To this Chunin, looking at Chinya—whose face was smeared with his comrades' blood—that smile appeared demonic and terrifying.

Smiling, Chinya said to the Chunin, "You're lucky. I won't kill you. You live."

Though overwhelmed by fear, the Chunin still managed to muster enough courage to ask, "Why?"

"Because I need someone to deliver a message back for me."

Chinya wiped his Ninja Sword clean against the Chunin's clothes before returning it to its sheath.

Standing back up, Chinya told the Chunin, "Make sure to thoroughly inform them exactly what happened here today. Then my sparing your life will have served a purpose."

After watching Chinya leave, the Cloud Ninja Chunin blankly looked around at the surroundings.

His fallen comrades' corpses lay scattered on the ground. One head lay not far from him, eyes wide open, dead without peace, as if staring right at him.

The Chunin suddenly felt violently ill and threw up, his emotions shattering into uncontrollable sobs.

The Cloud Village learned their team of twenty elite shinobi had failed to kill Chinya—instead being slaughtered by him. If Chinya hadn't intentionally spared one Chunin, they would have been completely annihilated.

According to a Chunin report, the battle was a total one-sided massacre; there was no chance for retaliation. The leaders of the Cloud Ninja struggled to believe what they were hearing and realized at the same time that Chinya had clearly surpassed the Jonin level—he had undoubtedly become an elite Jonin. Sending more ninja to hunt down Chinya meant their defenses in other areas would weaken, and Orochimaru would never miss such an opportunity. Now, Chinya had become a serious threat to them.
