Naruto: Kushina's Redemption, My Revenge

Chinya was now very confused.

Since Uzumaki Miyuki had said "nice to meet you" to Chinya, that proved she hadn't told Kushina Uzumaki that she was the one who found him and brought him to Konoha.

The reason Chinya hadn't explained anything about Uzumaki Miyuki to Kushina was that he didn't know how to explain it.

Chinya had found Kushina's clan member and now wanted this person to become the jinchuriki instead of her.

Sweet and kind-hearted as she was, Kushina would never accept that.

So Chinya had been thinking about how to explain this matter to Kushina.

Chinya frowned and said, "I'm practically starving now. I'm so hungry I can hardly walk. I just want to eat something right away to hold me over, so could you go ahead and get me something right now?"

Kushina said to Miyuki, "How about we go together, Miyuki?"

Before Chinya could speak, Miyuki shook her head with a smile and refused, saying, "Kushina, I've heard your praises about Chinya for a while, so I have some questions for him. I want to see whether he truly deserves having you entrusted to him."

When Miyuki said she wanted to see whether Chinya was someone worthy of being entrusted with her life, Kushina immediately blushed and murmured softly, "Chinya is really nice. He's definitely worthy."

Chinya clutched his stomach and groaned, "Kushina, I'm starving."

"Alright, alright. Then you two wait here, okay? I'll come back immediately."

After Kushina left, Chinya's expression instantly changed, becoming cold and icy. "Come with me!"

Chinya took Miyuki into an alley. After confirming no one was watching using his Kenbunshoku Haki, he demanded coldly, "Why?"

Looking at Chinya's cold face, Miyuki sighed and said, "Just as people have said, you really do come off as distant sometimes. When I saw how gentle you were with Kushina just now, I thought those rumors might not be true. Seems like that warm and kind face of yours only appears in front of Kushina."

Chinya coldly ordered, "Answer me!"

Miyuki looked toward the distant Kushina who was buying food and smiled, saying, "I hold deep resentment against Konoha because I witnessed firsthand the destruction of Uzushio. Yet Konoha, our so-called ally, just stood by and did absolutely nothing. So at first, I was also wary of Kushina joining Konoha."

"As fellow clan members, Kushina showed great kindness toward me. Gradually, I let down my guard against Kushina and began opening up to her."

From my conversation with Kushina, I learned that she had been deceived into coming to Konoha. She thought Konoha wanted to shelter her, but in reality, they had ulterior motives.

Uzumaki Miyuki pressed her lips together before replying. "If that really was what I wanted, wouldn't it have been better to just tell Kushina straight up that you brought me to Konoha? Kushina is smart; she'd have probably figured out why you sought me out and why you brought me here."

Chinya questioned, "Then what do you intend to do?"

Uzumaki Miyuki gave a wry smile. "Do you really not know, or just not want to believe me? Can't you give me the benefit of the doubt?"

Chinya replied seriously, "I can't afford any accidents. This concerns Kushina, so no amount of caution is too much!"

Uzumaki Miyuki looked again toward the distant Kushina Uzumaki. "I suddenly feel a bit jealous of Kushina. Since you're asking for an answer from me, I'll just say it plainly—I'm willing to become the Jinchuriki in her place."

Before Chinya could reply, Uzumaki Miyuki quickly added, "I bet you're wondering why now. I really like Kushina—not just because she's my clanmate, but because she's my friend. I don't want her becoming the Jinchuriki either.

And even though I resent Konoha a lot, it did give me a stable life. You could say this is my way of repaying you for bringing me here.

So when the time comes, I won't refuse to become the Jinchuriki. I will also tell Kushina it was my own choice."

Chinya gazed deeply at Uzumaki Miyuki. "If that's the case, then there couldn't be a better outcome. Thank you. And rest assured—in addition to the Uzumaki Clan's strong constitution, you've already begun learning Sealing Technique—a specialty of the Uzumaki Clan. As such, becoming the Jinchuriki won't endanger you. Plus, Konoha will do everything to protect you."

Uzumaki Miyuki smiled at Chinya and said nothing more.

Kushina Uzumaki returned with food and found Chinya and Uzumaki Miyuki. "Why are you two here?"

Chinya laughed. "The street was too noisy. It was hard to hear each other clearly, so we came here to talk."

"Is that so?"

Kushina Uzumaki didn't think much of it and handed the freshly bought Three Coloured Pills to Chinya: "Go on, have these to tide you over. When we get back, I'll make something good."

Chinya took a bite of the Three Coloured Pills and smiled as he spoke: "Great, then I'm looking forward to your meal, Kushina."

Kushina Uzumaki placed her hands on her hips and gave a couple of humphs: "Don't end up eating the plate too!"

Chinya and Kushina walked ahead chatting and laughing. Uzumaki Miyuki looked at the two with somewhat yearning eyes.

Having always been alone, struggling to survive every day, she longed for someone who would protect her unconditionally—just as Chinya protected Kushina Uzumaki.

When Kushina Uzumaki noticed that Miyuki hadn't followed, she turned around and waved at Miyuki: "Miyuki, let's go home!"

Miyuki smiled slightly: "Yes, coming."
