At home, Chinya, Kushina Uzumaki, and Uzumaki Miyuki were having dinner.

Kushina Uzumaki asked, "Chinya, how many days can you stay in Konoha this time?"

Chinya replied with an apologetic smile, "Actually, I returned to Konoha because I received official orders. I have to leave tomorrow. Sorry, Kushina—I won't be able to spend much time with you."

Dressed in ninja attire with a Ninja Sword strapped across his back, Danzo left Konoha alongside Chinya.

In a forest outside Konoha, Danzo suddenly stopped walking.

[Kenbunshoku Haki]—Chinya sensed about thirty ninjas nearby.

Danzo ordered, "Come out."

Thirty shinobi stepped forward, kneeling on one knee behind Danzo.

These thirty shinobi were all members of Root Division.

If such a large number of Root ninjas had left Konoha together, Hiruzen Sarutobi would surely have been alerted.

Therefore, days earlier, Danzo had secretly ordered them to leave Konoha in small groups, hiding in this forest to wait.

Sanshouo Hanzo glanced at Chinya twice before turning away.

Sanshouo Hanzo led the way, bringing Chinya and Danzo's group into Sanshouo Hanzo's base.

Looking at Chinya, Sanshouo Hanzo spoke to Danzo. "[Crimson-Eyed Asura]—you really are impressive to have brought him under your command."

Danzo ignored the compliment and asked instead, "What did you want to talk about?"

After interlacing his fingers, Sanshouo Hanzo replied, "I just want to confirm the terms of our previous cooperation."

Danzo frowned slightly. "I help you maintain control over Amegakure, and in return, you assist me in seizing the Hokage position. Any problem with that?"

Shaking his head, Sanshouo Hanzo said, "No problem at all—I just wanted to confirm."

Danzo scoffed, "You don't need to worry. The ninja I've brought this time are all elites. One immature organization is nothing to fear."

Nodding, Sanshouo Hanzo said, "Good. Once this matter concludes, I will fully support and assist you in securing the Hokage title."

After briefly discussing the action plan for tomorrow, Danzo and Sanshouo Hanzo ended their conversation.

Chinya loyally remained standing behind Danzo the entire time.

Once Sanshouo Hanzo left, Danzo did not leave the room.

Now only Chinya and Danzo were inside.

Danzo asked, "Regarding what I just said about seeking the Hokage position, what's your opinion?"

Chinya answered, "That's beyond my place to consider. I obey only Lord Danzo. Whoever the opponent may be, I will fight if Lord Danzo requires it."

A slight curve appeared on the corner of Danzo's lips as he said to Chinya, "After this mission concludes, I'll request from Hiruzen to change the selection of the jinchuriki."

Chinya bowed deeply. "Thank you, Lord Danzo."

All the ninja Danzo had brought were hiding at the designated location where Akatsuki members would arrive.

Of course, Chinya continued following Danzo.

Yahiko, leader of the Akatsuki Organization, headed toward the meeting location accompanied by his members.

Yahiko turned excitedly to Nagato and Konan beside him and said, "This is so exciting! I heard that this time Lord Hanzo has invited top officials from the Fire, Wind, and Earth countries to discuss peace proposals. All our hard work is finally starting to pay off. If this negotiation succeeds today, maybe peace will soon return to the Shinobi World!"

Nagato sighed helplessly before replying, "Yahiko, don't be too optimistic. The Three Great Nations aren't easy to deal with. They never are. Peace won't come from just one discussion. What happens next might not go exactly how you're picturing it."

"Everyone being willing to sit down and talk is already a good thing," Yahiko said cheerfully. "If it doesn't work the first time, we'll try again a second time, and if that still fails, then a third time! We'll make it sooner or later! Konan, I'm right, aren't I?"

Konan smiled slightly as she replied, "I believe you will definitely succeed, Yahiko!"
