He turned to Uzumaki Mito, bowing slightly. "Madam Mito, this is a serious lapse on my part. I will ensure this matter is thoroughly investigated. Yoruichi, you have my word."

Homura and Koharu shivered at the sight of Hiruzen's fury. The gentle old man was gone; in his place stood the Third Hokage, filled with authority.

Uzumaki Mito let out a cold snort, withdrawing her Nine-Tails chakra. The staff strike from Hiruzen, though severe, had actually saved Danzo's life.

Yoruichi stood quietly, watching with admiration. Uzumaki Mito in her Nine-Tails state was incredible—a true legend. She was like a female Naruto.

If Kushina could ever master this state... Yoruichi couldn't help but imagine how awe-inspiring it would be.

"Yoruichi," Mito said gently, looking at him with warm eyes, "What do you think?"

"It's good that the Third Hokage is willing to resolve this fairly."

Koharu scowled at Yoruichi. "Then release the Root operatives. They're Konoha's elites!"

"Elites?" Yoruichi's tone turned sharp. "Attacking Konoha's citizens? Is that what you call elite behavior?"

Koharu's face darkened. This boy had no respect for authority! If Uzumaki Mito weren't here, she'd have him detained immediately.

Homura crouched beside a masked Root ninja, checking his pulse. His face paled. "Dead."

Koharu rushed over, stunned. "Dead?"

Homura nodded grimly and moved to the next one. "This one too."

A heavy silence fell. Even Hiruzen frowned as he noticed all ten Root operatives lying motionless.

Yoruichi had killed them all.

Koharu's face twisted in rage. "Yoruichi! You dare murder Konoha's shinobi?"

"They tried to kidnap me in broad daylight," Yoruichi replied calmly. "It was self-defense. A misunderstanding, that's all."

"Misunderstanding?!" Koharu trembled with fury, pointing at him. "You killed elite shinobi! Arrest him!"

Suddenly, thick tree roots burst from the ground, slamming Koharu into the air. She crashed into Danzo, sending him flying again with a muffled scream. Both lay unconscious.

"Hmm," Yoruichi said flatly. "Senior advisors of Konoha, behaving like this? Interesting."

Homura's anger flared, but meeting Yoruichi's cold gaze, he hesitated. This boy didn't care about authority. He struck without hesitation, without fear.

Hiruzen sighed deeply, rubbing his temples. Yoruichi's actions were decisive, too decisive. "Yoruichi, this was excessive."

Before Hiruzen could continue, Mito interrupted. "I believe it was justified. He just awakened his Kekkei Genkai. Faced with an attack, he overreacted in self-defense. It's understandable."

Her words were final, leaving no room for argument.

She glanced at Danzo, Koharu, and Homura with visible disappointment. Perhaps the Second Hokage made a mistake entrusting Konoha to them.

But Yoruichi? She admired him. That's how one should act—decisive and unyielding.

As for the dead Root shinobis? They served as an example: mess with Yoruichi, and you pay the price.
